Amazing food my steak barbacoa was perfect, good service very friendly, loved that they came out to double check if food was ok. Great portions on food.

Nice enough place, the 20% discount for drinks wouldn't work on the app. Had a sharing platter and it was fantastic, food was hot and pleasantly delightful we really enjoyed it. When I ordered the large chicken gyros flat bread, I could already smell the burning. The chicken was only a shaving or 2 and the broccolini was welded to the skillet and looked like vanilla pods. The whole dish smelt and tasted burnt, so was inedible. Shame really, If it was on a normal plate it would of been a decent dish.

I have been using The Yenton since 2002 It’s my home from home The food has always been good and excellent value The staff are really lovely and friendly and always very welcoming Great range of beers and always good entertainment every Saturday Has a pool table, dart board and shows all of the Sports too Really couldn’t ask for much more from a pub Certainly recommend it for a visit and if you live near it make it your local!

Fantastic service , staff super helpful in getting me a highchair and making sure there was enough space around for my pram . Food was lovely and all came out swiftly and perfect . The gaffer I believe is Mik , so friendly and welcoming. Such a lovely run pub ! The staff are awful really rude especially Chelsea and Melissa. Management are clueless on how to run a pub and have no respect for customers. I would definitely NOT recommend this pub, The food is vile and is never cooked properly would not trust it.

Worst pub I’ve ever been in. I asked for a tap water, as is my right in a licences establishment. Management refused this right. This is highly illegal and when I showed them the law, they still refused. Never coming back here again.

Great Venue,Was in Birmingham visiting friends and decided to use the Yenton for drinks and dinner, Staff were very accommodating in sorting out a table for the 5 of us - even though we had forgotten to book a table,,( would definitely advise booking) especially at the weekend. Food was great value for the money, was also piping hot, and very tasty. ( We all had different items off the menu ) And would heartily recommend. Definitely be booking for when we back down in September!!!!

Use to be a really nice place. However, they allowed other people to order from the other menus at football game. Yet, the manger said no, you must only eat from the football menu. ( price increase) Yet, they allowed other to do so.. They lost £60.

Had a lovely meal here a few days ago. Staff were very helpful when i was ordering as i have a milk allergy. Food was beautiful.

Went today and was quite shocked by the staff being rude to my partner about him ordering food. Everything we wanted in our party of 4 was out of stock. Then they accused my partner of being rude as he only rolled his eyes as they wouldn't give him a straight answer. This is not what you think you would get from a customer facing role. This is my second visit and the first was quite dubious as they asked my partner to remove his cap and walked off before i could tell him my partners disabilities and why he requires a cap in public. So this second time has put me off just by the staff alone. Food isn't much better. My friend ordered a salmon salad and half the fish was hard and not edible. I have attached pictures of it. This friend is a manager of the various branches so they don't even care about their own senior staff. Disgusting behaviour and will not enter this establishment again nor will my partner and i will be spreading the word about how unbelivable this pubs staff is.

I came here for the first time a few days ago and we definitely won't be back. The food was overpriced for what it was, there were items missing from one plate and when pointed out, there was no apology, although the waitress did go and fetch the missing items. The older waitress working was very rough looking and looked like she didn't want to be at work that day. A really unpleasant person to have to look at while I was there. I didn't want the people on my table to be served by her, but unfortunately you don't get to choose your server. The younger waitress was perfectly fine, though. The older, rough looking waitresses' aura was enough to put me off going again and I definitely won't be back. That, and the food wasn't great and not worth the money paid. Why aren't vegetables or salad served with all meals? How strange. The restaurant/pub itself had a cosy feel to it and the toilets were great. The atmosphere in the pub area was very 'pubby' and not for me at all. Perhaps the diners could be separated from the drinkers? I'd like to see some staff there that aren't rough looking, as it really puts others off and I think that's a shame, as I'm sure your establishment could benefit from profiting more. Went in for one meal, none of the cutlery (knives, forks) given to me from staff was clean. Food was brilliant! But come on, there is a hygienic risk, handing out DIRTY cutlery. Could make someone seriously ill

We've visited this busy pub on a Saturday evening a couple of times in the last six months and on both occasions we were impressed by the fast service and varied menu. The staff are friendly and efficient. There's a lively atmosphere and a mixture of age groups. I was particularly pleased with my bangers and mash which was very tasty.

It was ok, just a quick stop for a pint and fish n chips

We went to have a bite to eat and watch the live entertainment. We really enjoyed our evening. The atmosphere of the place is truly amazing. We had starters and mains which were delicious and didn't wait long for either. The band was great. We had a great time.

I went with one of my friends for a late lunch, i was served by a woman called zoe who was so lovely, i had the mac and cheese and the portion size was perfect, its came out quickly and piping hot and was amazing! I had the best experience

Upon arrival we was greeted with a warm welcome, we got served straight away at the bar no waiting the staff having a laugh and joke with us.

i am very pleased with the experience i had here.I came with a large group and all workers were quick to get us seated and sorted with what we needed they thrived under pressure and gave me and the rest of the group and amazing experience

I go all the time as I am a regular and overall I think the pub is run well and everything the offer is for a good price definitely recommend trying.

The food at the Yenton is always top notch. We eat here a few times a month and it's always very good. The staff are really nice and it's got a great atmosphere. The steak and beef rib sizzler is fantastic. Make sure to download their app as you get some great deals on it. Always busy but you will always find a table if you hang about. 10/10 😎

This is a nice place to go to on the weekends, it's got a lively atmosphere especially when a game is on. They have a large range of food options and cater to my dietary needs. Will definitely be coming back!

Had a steak was very good my husband had sample very nice and plenty of it.

Not a bad place at all, staff are friendly and has a nice atmosphere, however, I paid for double chips and the portion was laughable.

Oh dear. Where do I start. We use The Yenton regularly as it is near us. A few weeks ago I booked a table for 6 for August 26th. I booked it whilst in there. Confirmed. Then recently there were 2 extra seats added. I did this by phone.The man on the phone said yes booking for Jayne at 6pm. 2 added. All booked. We arrived just before 6 on the 26th, No booking. Nothing in the diary. Zoe said there were two tables she could accommodate us all. Then we found out it was a limited menu. No mention of this prior to the day. We ordered. Several of us ordered sizzler steaks. We ordered medium rare & rare. They were overcooked in the kitchen & continued to cook on the sizzlers. Most were medium & my son's was well done & he couldn't eat it. One meal was wrong altogether & arrived when most of us had finished. We spoke to Zoe (the manageress) & said we weren't happy. She offered free desserts for everyone. This was really poor. Zoe was polite but said that was all she could do. We asked for a free round of drinks. She said no. Then she said there was another manager Diane who was "downstairs". We were told Zoe was the manager. She went to ask her about it. Diane didn't even have the decency to come to us to apologise for the appalling service. The answer came back from Zoe that no Diane said free desserts only. For the sake of approx £35 Diane has now got your pub a bad review. Our party had travelled some distance for a family wedding & to say they were disappointed with your company is a gross understatement. No more visits from us.

I meet my brother and a couple of friends here every Friday a frequently have food, we have never had a bad experience at the Yenton, the staff are efficient and friendly the beer is good and the food is good, last but not least the customers, we are all friendly with each other with no-one pushing in or being lairy, quite the opposite in fact with " I think this gentleman/lady was before me" will be said rather than being served out of turn. Clean toilets front and rear outside areas. Nothing bad to say about the Yenton, which is something you wouldn't have said prior to it's makeover.

Barmaid extremely rude....it was a real shame as we have used this pub for family gatherings for years but have never been spoken to so rudely by a bar staff member ..she obviously didn't want to be at work....

Great food which was nice as me and my partner and brother in law had been out all day. The drinks was refreshing and a good price sweep for the food and the drinkand the waitresses was so nice and helpful. Overall I had a lovely time.

Food is awful since new menu. Kitchen is "closed" unexpectedly a lot. Staff are rude especially the barmaid I think is called Chelsie. Slams drinks down on the bar and rolls eyes. Used to be a fantastic pub I would always bring my children here for dinner as a treat but would rather pay the extra and go to Verdo across the road for good food and friendly customer service. Such a shame. New staff and management much needed.

We visited last night,23/07/24 and were greeted by an extremely rude member of staff who told my partner to take his cap off. He explained that he had alopecia and didn't feel comfortable taking it off, to which she replied 'well you have to for the cameras'. We again tried to explain that my partner has a medical condition and would have been happy to discuss privately as its something that causes a huge amount of embarrassment and stress for him but instead she shouted 'well don't take it off then' and walked away. The same staff member then screamed at my 2 year old foe running over to me when ordering food at the bar. Again, completely unacceptable. We will not be visiting again and hope the staff member is offered some customer service training as I would hate another customer with a medical condition to be treated in the same way!
