The Three Horses - Sizzling Pubs in Birmingham

This is called a sizzling pub for a reason… the food literally does arrive sizzling hot on cast iron platters! The portions are mighty generous and there is a great choice. I had the salmon with med veg and my other half had the giant gyros, with jalapeños. The service was very friendly- as were the locals, and the atmosphere very relaxing. A lovely regular told us about the app, from which you can order the food at even more reasonable prices. A great pub grub experience.

Nice food and nice pub if ur meeting up with freinds

Great visit, came with our dog, and it was very busy with just 2 staff serving. They did fantastic considering all the problems they faced (alarm went off, card machines werent working properly, and more). Shout out to the staff, we will be back again.

Friday night karaoke pretty lively

Absolute Gem of a location we eat here most days a week as we work down the road. Staff are lovely, food is good if you know what to order (grilled salmon or gammon) can’t complain

We just stopped to have some drinks, but the place is nice. Has lots of parking on the back and also seats outdoors.

Here at the moment as a party of 9 and the food was amazing most of us had the curry platter it was incredible 2 beers and a coke 11.50 which I thought was cheap also the music that was playing was quality plus the girl behind the bar was busy but had a smile and was very good at her job we all really enjoyed our time here

I've not long moved to area and this is now my local. Lovely Staff, nice atmosphere and fair prices. Good range of food on menu and ample seating outside both front and back to watch the world go by . plenty of parking - but make sure you enter your reg at bar ( small computer tablet at main bar ) as the car park managed by a 3rd party ..... I love this pub 👍🙏🙏

Good small pub for food and drinks

The staff are friendly and helpful they don’t keep you waiting for your drinks and the food was delicious and the best value for money around.

Nice place to stop for a few pints and a meal

Nice location on the main street, food was great , typical sizzling pub cannot fault it. The pub itself looks a little dated, though inside, and could do with a refurb.

Hadn't been here in years. Wasn't bad, staff were ok. Got pool table and darts board. You have to hand over a £5 for the pool cue but get money back when you hand it back. Asked for darts they didn't have any so not sure of the point of the dart board if you can't play with friends. Apart from this the place was ok 👍

The pub itself was a last-minute find as.inwas in Birmingham for a trip. Lovely pub, clean and friendly. Large car park. The food I ordered looked lovely, but I was slightly disappointed with luke warm to tepid food. The pudding, on the other hand, was scolding hot! I was hungry so I ate it and it was cheap but unfortunately I wouldn't return there in the future.

Visited a few times now and always enjoyed our meal, very good value.

Lovely atmosphere and great people and staff

The atmosphere at this establishment was truly remarkable. The staff, crowd, and overall vibe were all incredible. It's a great place to enjoy a drink. The servers were not only beautiful but also very friendly, which made for an excellent experience. We booked our table through Sizzling Pubs, which is an app that allows you to reserve tables and order drinks as well. And, there were some amazing offers available on the app. To top it off, I had the pleasure of trying their Snowball Colada, which was absolutely delicious!

I used to take my son to the Three Horse Shoes around 8 years or so ago. The food and deserts were nice we both enjoyed eating there. I saw a voucher that two can eat for £18 and I thought that was an absolute bargain and I would go and have lunch. The car park was empty when I arrived I should have seen it as a sign! The staff were great but the food was not! What did I expect for £9 though I guess. I had surf and turf the surf was just some deep fried nuggets of fish and the turf had lots of grissle in it. The calamari starter wasn’t any better it didn’t look appetising. The actual pub could do with a lick of paint too on the outside and inside. I won’t be going back.

Having stumbled on horse shoe by mistake, what a stumble it was, great welcome staff so friendly, ordered the jerk skewers, it came out on a very hot sizzler plate and tastes so fresh, defo if in the area again will pop in

I had not been here before but people had recommended it. I was with 3 friends and we all really enjoyed our meals and drinks. The staff were friendly and efficient, made us feel very welcome. Excellent choice of food and it was of a high quality with generous portions. My steak was cooked to perfection and was nice and tender. Pleasant atmosphere added to the experience. Will definitely be back.

Came for a bite to eat with my partner, wasn't disappointed. Great food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Was served by Billie, she was great, told us to download the app as there was offers and vouchers on there. Was great to see 40% off, saved us some money (even though its cheap enough anyway) we will definitely be back!

Lovely food and great customer service

Have started coming here a lot more frequently recently and got to say every time it’s been great. Billie is an asset to your business as nothing is ever too much for her and she always goes above and beyond for me whenever I come in.

Tuesday is quiz night..tough old fashion paper n pen quiz but if music is more your thing then Friday nights is karaoke 🎤

Local pub foods ok but depend what chef is on

The staff were lovely, the waiter from Donegal I think his name was Dan ? He was lovely and so were the other two barmaids one of which was Mikaela, really friendly!

Staff member called gabby unbelievably rude when calling out an undercooked pork and an over cooker beef. Won't be returning.

We had my mums 50th here and the staff were so accommodating! They gave us the bar area to use all to ourselves with no charge and constantly made sure we had everything we needed, really really impressed especially with the speed of the food coming out for 25+ of us, thank you for a great day!

The place is brilliant. Gabby, the rest of the bar staff and the Irish guy (think it’s the manager) are all so lovely. Being from Scotland and living in Cornwall I’m no local but its where me and my girlfriend drink often and it’s really good. The food and choice of drinks is good and it’s all very reasonable. I highly recommend quiz night (Tuesday) and karaoke night (Friday). Give it a visit! :)

Went to this pub yesterday absolutely beautiful pub drinks for 2 people £10 for double kardode and coke and Stella loving staff had a joke with one of the young girls at the bar I come again not one problem here

Perfect for a quick pint after work

Main was lovely but dessert was disappointing the ice cream was a poor amount on the chocolate brownie but the new after eight dessert the cream was watery the ice cream was poor and as for the chocolate after eight pieces was poor for the value. Did get refunded but would have preferred dessert 🍨

Used to be ok 8/10 now 3/10 mixed grill was poor very fatty gammon tomato was raw very poor when you’ve payed £12 also chicken platter used to have plenty of salad now next to none.did point it out to staff but nothing was done very poor customer service.WE ALL WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN

Came for food and must say it was some of the tastiest pub grub I've had in a long time. The manager Marie was also really easy to talk to and made us all feel welcome. Can see why my sister raves about this place so much. Very reasonably priced and good portions too!

My family and i had dinner to this place in November. And now i ended paying more than what we ate that night. Apparently, their staff are not obliged to inform their customer to register their car. I will never visit this place again!

Friendly staff good atmosphere

Had a lovely breakfast cooked by RIchard, everything was cooked to perfection and hot, everything you could wish for on a breakfast. Will we have another breakfast cooked by richard of course.

Went for lunch on 12th Jan. Great service and super friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble! Don’t be put off by the exterior which could do with a bit of a makeover, we were pleasantly surprised when we went inside. If we’re passing again we’ll pop in 👍

Fantastic bar , Daniel and Libby behind the bar were great tonight . We brought the kids in tonight early evening and they welcomed us in. We also were told about a lunch with Santa this week which was below £10 and looks reasonable so will return on the weekend . A little home from home, everyone was so friendly

Nice pub. Visited friends in areA and dropped by in here afterwards. This place is nice, good atmosphere and chilled. Bar staff are friendly and customers are happy too. Hopefully be back in next time I’m in the area

My family and I popped in here for dinner after our hotel offering was very disappointing and we were so pleased we did. The food was delicious and portions were large. The mid week deals were amazing and staff were so friendly and welcoming! I am going to find a Sizzling Pub closer to home now!

Lovely friendly pub. Food good at a reasonable price. Parking spacious, you must put car reg in, the locals make sure the driver has entered it which is so friendly. Menu has loads of choices with various prices. There is something for everyone.

Can't believe how run down this pub has become in recent years. The outside is in serious need of being repaired before it falls down. Inside is dull and gloomy, with staff to match. Waited an eternity at an empty bar to be served, and was eventually served a flat pint of lager. Disappointed is an understatement....
