The Queslett in Birmingham

Nice & relaxed environment here at the queslett, comfortable seats, not overcrowded (space between tables), music is a comfortable level, staff always keeping it clean and tidy for us. I was served by a couple of people, one being Faith. Sometimes people don't realise a simple smile can change someone's mood and day. Lost my job today so popped in for food and a pepsi before I go make phone calls to try sort another asap, was feeling fairly down but her being friendly and having a lovely smile made me feel better so thank you Faith 🙂. Have a lovely Christmas. In terms of food I had the ultimate burger with fries, it was brilliant & came out piping hot so can't complain at that Recommend to all. Thanks

All the staff were very helpful especially Alex our waiter who was very attentive. Food served quickly and lovely and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back

Good pub food but my review is mostly for the great service we had from Keyao, he was so attentive, polite and friendly. We ordered our food from the table which asks you if you want to leave a tip but this is before your service so we didn’t but must apologise to Keyao as he deserved it but we didn’t have any cash on us. When we return we hope to see Keyao again as he is a breath of fresh air.

Once again we had a great night at the Queslett although we left before the Halloween Crazy Bingo started. Not sure about that. Janney and Keyan were both very attentive and service was fast and efficient. Bar staff were also good. Food was obviously very freshly cooked and served straight away. Delicious! Always happy to come back

Went here for lunch and had a fantastic time the food was lovely I had the mixed grill which was lovely, the staff were fantastic, especially Jay and Faith they were friendly and ever so helpful and had fantastic communication skills. Our server Oliver was nice and friendly and helpful, definitely recommend this pub

Ordered a collection, food is rock solid as though it's been over cooked for ages. Portion sizes are terrible for the price, don't bother with the Mac and cheese side, wouldn't even call it an appetiser. Overall not happy and nowhere to sort this out like you would have on Uber eats. Just simply terrible.

Food is always wrong, cold or just rubbish quality; burgers, fish and chips and a lasagne have all been rubbish or wrong. Staff seem lovely but are always rushed off their feet leading to slow and sometimes incorrect service. I dont blame them at all they need more staff on at peak times.

Food is well below standard. They need to get the basics right and stop trying to improvise. Mac and cheese just awful..I do better myself and I'm a terrible cook. Kids fish fingers pretty awful. And Stop salting the chips, especially the kids chips Geezus!

Tmi was member of three on 10th September. We were welcomed into the pub. Tom served and answered our questions which were helpful. Shown to the table we had reserved. We ordered our meals and they were served by Tom promptly abd asked if we needed snything else. He also followed this up and asked if our meals were okay for us. Both members of staff very pleasant and helpful.

Tom was very friendly and helpful! All staff at The Queslett are very friendly and professional every visit. Our food was delicious (lunch). I'd of given 5 stars for atmosphere if a bit warmer, was slightly nippy. Small thing. Had a really pleasant afternoon at The Queslett.

We went here for food recently and it was ok, there was a Football Match on the tele when we arrived which made for a good Atmosphere. The pub is an Ember inns premises which is the same as the regular pub we use so we knew the food would be of a good Standard.

Stopped for a quick refreshment break with the dog and service was excellent. Ordered to a table outside and a dog bowl with water and ice and treat was brought out by the staff. Top customer service 👌

Another good lunch at the Queslett. Friendly greeting on arrival, great staff. Good gluten free choices and the young woman who took my order was very knowledgable. They even stock gluten free bottled beer. Food arrived in good time and was delicious.

Went in for food, we were met with friendly smile and a warm welcome by staff. Mark served us, he went above and beyond and his customer service was exceptional. Thank you team Queslett especially Mark you were wonderful.

Nice weeknight evening meal for 7, three kids and the rest adults. Food was good for the price. The barman and our waiter Cian were both attentive throughout with food and drinks

Just been to the queslette pub for an impromptu lunch and I must say it was very nice the food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful Rachael and the girls were welcoming and friendly and made a great fuss of our cockapoo dog bailey who had tasty treats laid on would definitely go again loved the relaxed vibe and friendly atmosphere

Came in on a Saturday lunch time. Very friendly service and wonderful helpful and lovely attentive service from and young lady called Shannon who brought food with a smile and a lovely friendly manner

Went for a girls night, booked a table and was seated in the most perfect spot - could still hear the conversation but also hear the music playing. Cocktails were gorgeous (particularly the Long Island Iced Tea). Food tasted super good for the price too, and our server Faith was so helpful in deciding what was menu stand-outs. Will definitely come again for a girls night.

Gathering of colleagues / friends on the day before (23/06/24) my last day at work (off to pastures new). The atmosphere was lovely as we all sat outside in the fresh air enjoying the circle of friendship - joy and laughter!!!

Faith was the most amazing person I’ve been served by my first request was a cold glass and every time I went the glass was ready prepared for me x x x x

Faith and cian where very welcoming and with me being from Northern Ireland they went out of there way to make me and my mate feel wanted

Brilliant food very good prices for the quality with good portion sizes, definitely full after. Accompanied by lovely service from our waitress named Phoenix. Will be coming again.

Lovely food with great prices. Pub was really clean and the bar staff were very friendly, in particular Mark who was quick to serve and very helpful. The waiting staff were also really efficient and polite. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be going there again for a visit.

Most distressing service by far never again

Great venue, busy but nice clientele, we asked for a table and Faith got us one very quickly lovely young lady. Even got to watch a euro game in there as well which was a bonus.

Attended a birthday party. The buffet food was great and a bargain for the price. Service was exceptional throughout the night with food, drink and overall hospitality. Drinks were made swiftly and consistently every time I was at the bar. I couldn't have asked for better service - helpful, friendly and easy to talk to. The atmosphere was comfortable and fun. Music choice and Karaoke was great entertainment. I will definitely return soon.

We booked a table with a special request that it faces the TV screen showing live sports, and we were given a lovely table with a perfect location. We enjoyed the sports watching experience. For food, we love the BBQ chicken wings, and the crisp onions and pork sausages in the Mixed Grill. However, the rump steak and gammon steak were overcooked even though we ordered medium rare. A little disappointed. We enjoyed the 241 Pink Paloma offer, it is an amazing cocktail! I hope the ordering app / website is faster and more responsive.

Decided at the last minute to come here for a bite to eat & drink with the family. Great atmosphere, good drink selection, nice all round pub, but the food wasn't so great. My 8oz sirloin steak was well overcooked & so fatty & so chewy i thought theyd given me a rump, i couldn't eat half of it. My wife had a chicken burger & said it wasn't very warm & was chewey, my son said his burger was over cooked & didn't finish it, the only meal that was fully eaten was the Hunters Chicken.....would go there again for drinks, but not food.

Emily was very pleasant and helpful as she always is. Food was hot and very enjoyable.A little disappointed carbonara has been taken from the new menu.

Find it hard walking ao stairs to toilets a struggle

Very disappointing, it states on Sunday menu 2 courses from 13.49, I was charged 15.49. When I queried this I was told it states 'from' which is fair but there is no where on the menu that the terms and conditions are printed I also questioned this to be told by acting manager that there will be new menus next week... very unhelpful. We were then charged 3.50 for half pint of carling, when this was questioned we were then told that it was in fact 2.15, but the bar person assures us that the correct change was given . Unfortunately I was unable to check as I already had change in my purse, the till was not checked by anyone whilst we were there or even offered to check it later. Very disappointing, I will be contacting Ember Inns and will be expecting a satisfactory reply

I've been here a few times and cannot fault it, went in the other week and forgot to enter my registration number, got a letter for a fine, but talked to the assistant manager Debbie and she sorted it straight away, you can't get customer service like that at many places. 5 Stars

Sunday afternoon spent watching the football. Meals 1 adult hunters chicken £11.50, 3 Children's 2 course meal included main and desert £6.50, these were big enough for an adult. Drinks a little expensive nearly £5 for a pint of cider. Lovely atmosphere with local football fans. Friendly staff. Lots of stuff going on throughout the the week, Quiz and Bingo night, discos once a month. Dog friendly.

Tom was really friendly and helpful. Went with the kids and they had the 2 course meal for under 7 quid which was good value. The chicken on ciabata from the lunchtime menu was very good too.

Sad to see the deputy manager Kieran leave today, great guy. Fortunately he is staying with Ember Inns and joining the Long Horns team. I am sure he will be an as3set and wish him all the best for the future.
