Roast was delicious succulent meat crispy and fluffy roast potatoes veg and Yorkshire pud topped with lashings of gravy, just what a Sunday requires. We were looked after by two lovely young ladies, Molly & Amber, they could n’t do enough for us considering the number of customers in the restaurant, thank you.

Always a longish wait in the carvery queue on a Sunday and always VERY warm but lunch was lovely and the staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly Holly F who was our main waitress. Just need the cauliflower to be a little less al dente!!!

Great Sunday lunch with the extended family! The service (from Molly F) was brilliant and they were really accommodating putting two tables together as we were celebrating a birthday! This was really kind, especially as they were super busy….Look forward to visiting again 😊

Regular visitors but had lunch today with family. We had the sandwiches in the bar area which we always do. Brought over and made by a friendly chef Steve. The sandwiches were hot tasty and very well presented. Highly recommend

Our favourite toby, Joanne and Sam made us feel very welcome, the service was fast and the food lovely, only a 4 because the roasties were really hard but enough on the deck to make up for it. We will be back

Very disapointed. Booked a booth on line well in advance of visit as was with my disabled mother who has Parkinson’s. They said there was not one available as they were all booked ! Offered table in middle of resteraunt. They were not interested that I had booked and was with a disabled person. Been going there for years, will never go to a Toby carvery again. Shocking experience.

I go here with one of my friends for lunch every so often. We are always looked after by Jo who is a fantastic waitress and is so friendly and professional. I really like the carvery - there is a wide selection of meat and vegetables.

Disgusting place. Waited ages to be acknowledged and sat. Staff surly and not interested and to be honest downright rude in blatently ignoring you and talking amongst themselves. Toilets were filthy with limited cubicles available. This place has really gone downhill. To top it off you even have to book your car in to park there, is parking really that much of an issue? Only saving grace was food was good. But the service received by far tainted this experience. Staff were not overworked thet had plenty of time to stand in groups gossiping. They just were simply not interested. Will never go back to this place.

Waited in the queue for over 30 minutes for there to be hardly any meat. The rest of the food looked un edible. Me and my family loved to come here for a meal but the quality has gone down hill the past few weeks. It was that poor, we decided not to eat here. It was outrageous.

It's so bad parked up in car park never mind food was bad I've got a parking ticket £60 so basically they pull your pants down beware of were you park on there car park no wonder they will go bump charging custers 60 pound to park jokers

This continues to excel, we attended Christmas Day and again today 14th January. Christmas Day was great, food staff and experience was what you would hope for. Today Front of house checked our booking instructions and followed our requests completely. We had a fabulous service from Donna who is a credit to the company as always. Food and service was excellent. Thank you again.

Went for a family meal ordered drinks, and then joined the queue to get the carverys, whilst in the queue a child projectile vomitted all over the carvery meat area. We decided then and there we had to leave, but we offered to pay for the drinks we hadn't even drank. The lady took the money, but it then became quite chaotic, so we just left. Having thought about It i contacted the restaurant about us having to pay for the drinks, the lady said it was out of their control, which I understand and she offered a refund. We then returned for a refund for the drinks and the manageress was extremely rude to my partner and didn't even apologise, I know it wasn't their fault but it wasn't ours either. An apology would have been nice as it had ruined our night, it would have gone a long way, but if that's how you treat your customers, I think you might lose a lot more than just us. After this we won't be returning again and looking at another review the carvery was up and running after an hour after the incident, which I find quite shocking considering the spread of the projectile vomit and that a deep clean was going to happen.

Waited 20 mins in queue, still 8 to 9 people in front of me. Dad holding child..threw up over counter. Staff, quite rightly, stopped and closed serving food.Charged £3.50 for a drink that I never got, ruined our very rare evening out. I know it was not pub's fault but they had no compassion for all the people that had a ruined evening. I'm never going back.

Visited on the 12th Jan. Unfortunately a young child threw up in the serving area, causing its closure. It threw the restaurant into chaos, which was understandable given the situation. The restaurant was clearly understaffed but the team that were on duty, handled the situation as well as they could. The Staff acted quickly and professionally to clean and bring the area back into action after approximately 1 hour. Hats off to the team for dealing with a challenging situation so well, especially given they were short staffed.

We had an amazing meal here! The food was great and staff were all really friendly especially Donna. We can’t wait to be back.

Me and the wife came here after a lovely Saturday day out, The food was absolutely delicious! And the staff was all fantastic!

What an absolute terrible night. I took my 84 year old mom for a celebration at 7.00 pm on 12th Jan. Meal booked at 6.30 pm. Mom got her meal and then a baby not in our party but in the queue behind us who had been unwell all day was sick over all the meat and veg. Myself and husband did not eat as they then shut the carvery but still expected us to pay for mom. Everyone who had booked later was turned away. Friday night what an absolute disaster. Why do Toby Carvery accept babies after a certain time. Father said oh dear one of those things. Staff were curtious but OMG what a absoulute nightmare. We were charged for meals from the party but the others who came slightly later and never ate and were turned away at the door.

Great hot food cooked perfectly, compliments to the chief Steve and lovely services by our waitress Donna.

Donna was absolutely lovely and had wonderful customer service , she made our visit more enjoyable and we will be coming back more often because of Donna :)

Welcomed by the lovely Donna, as she is always welcoming. She can't help the family enough. Seated us and promptly provided us with our drinks and told us you can make your way when ready.
