Great afternoon out for dinner with the family. Great value, lovely lady named Gemma helped us out and made sure we was all happy. Will definitely come back

I went there to get a bite to eat and a couple of drinks. After finally deciding what to have off the generous menu I chose the "wings and things". On ordering I was surprised to be asked if I had allergies but found it quite a nice thing to do. The server Gemma was so friendly and all the other staff seemed that way as well. They all looked like they got along which as a customer is nice to see. The food was piping hot and lovely by the way. Thankyou Baldwin.

Kayleigh and Hollie were absolute superstars!! Been here many times and service has always been amazing, these two girls were so helpful and brought a lot of smiles to the table!!

We were served today by Madi and the food was prepared by Ray and Lloyd. Delicious food and excellent service as always. Love this pub as the staff is friendly and the food is served promptly. we have family that live close so always agree to meet at this pub- and we’re never disappointed. the most reasonably priced for food and drinks, deals on everyday, staff always friendly and polite- they can’t do enough for the kids when we’re there.

Great evening out for drinks with some friends, served by an amazing member of staff called Gemma who was quick in serving us all and keeping the laughter and smiles going until last orders. Great credit to the team and clearly knows her job well 😀 bar clean and well stocked on taps and spirits

Good quick service, food was lovely. Easy to use app. Only negative is that you can’t change sides on the app. ie chips for jacket potato.

Food was amazing. Cooked perfectly. Our waitress Gemma was incredible nothing was too much and even made out a candle in the pudding for my mom as it was her birthday.

Big thank you to the staff who hosted us for Christmas lunch today - it was great. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food was good and arrived hot which is not easy when there were 22 of us! My first time out for Christmas lunch and well worth the visit - once again thank you.

We were a large table of around 25. The man who served us was polite and efficient. Even when I missed a meal on the app he got it sorted quickly whilst I put it through and paid for it so there wasn't much of a weight. We were there from 6:30 till around 9 pm and he looked after us with the same professional manner for the entire time.

Lovely food for a Christmas get together with family, great for children there, lovely meal, my Turkey dinner was so good! Plenty of choice for kids, good selection of food, great prices too, there were 6 of us & the meal was affordable at this time of year, have never had a bad meal in this pub, food hot & served quickly by staff who are friendly & efficient with a smile 😊 too! Playground kept the kids quiet whilst we had a drink & chat so all in all was well satisfied & as always will return oh & lastly it was very festive inside, the decorations are great!

We attended the quiz night on Tuesday, it’s on every Tuesday and thoroughly enjoyed it. We’ll run and the speed rounds are very challenging

At the Baldwin arms I always feel welcome I had lunch the bar staff are so friendly Hollie and rionne they both are pleasant to talk to they are so polite they listen if you need to talk they are great with people of all ages I wouldn't go anywhere else

The Baldwin Arms has to be one of the best pubs I’ve ever been to in my entire life. Kayleigh + Rionne are the nicest people in the world they made my experience 10x better. You already know man like Dillon was whipping it up in the kitchen. Moving like Prime Gordon Ramsey 🔥🔥🔥.

The veg lasagna was awful. I feel it should be taken off the menu. Staff friendly but I think they should have warned us about the possible poor choice of our order. Value for money very bad.

Always have a lovely time here, locals are so welcoming as are the bar staff. Lesley in particular can't do enough for you and is always a friendly face, good service and friendly atmosphere 😀

I would just like to thank Ellie-Mae and her wonderful staff for a great night out on Saturday . We had a family get-together of at least 20 of us and Ellie made sure we had an area of the pub to dine and drink in and also arranged for a Karaoke DJ to be present. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff ensured the drinks kept flowing.

came for a romantic lunch with my boyfriend. we love pub food and this didn’t let us down! we had the deal with the beers and the baskets of starters. was perfect!

Wow! Went in for a birthday drink with family and EXTREMELY well behaved dog who lay quietly under the table in the bar (not food area) and was asked to leave. Very surprised as the pub is happy to accept multiple drug dealers in the bar but apparently not a dog. I can guarantee she has never bought nor sold any illegal substances in her whole life. New “manager” so I suppose that explains a lot……

Great local, staff are brilliant, drinks always on point, place to go to hang with friends or watch the football of you’re from the area

I came here to watch football and have something to eat whilst watching it. I wanted a sharer but without the onion rings and I think her name was rionne was happy to please. Lloyd? I think thats what his name badge said,served me in a glass I asked for because I'm very fussy. Can't fault the service received or the friendliness of the staff. 5 stars from me!!!

Family of 8 children and 8 adults went here on Saturday the 16th December to have breakfast with Santa, the breakfast was great and Santa was really friendly and great with the kids. Nothing was to much trouble from Santa and the staff at the pub.. We all had a great time and will be booking for next year.

Came for a breakfast after seeing the offer online, 2 for 1 breakfast. Although the time is only between 11 and 12, I found this to be a good time to try it. Food was excellent and didn’t lack quality due to price. Staff friendly and couldn’t do anything more for us. Will be returning

Disappointed to say the least, went for the two for one on breakfast, will not be going again, breakfast only available from 11am, or that's how it seems, til midday. Cold food cold plates, miniscule fried egg, token gesture of baked beans also cold. Ordered drinks which came before the food which took over 30 minutes to arrive, only us and one other couple in the pub, drinks also cold, more of brunch hours than breakfast hours, had we not have been on the two for one offer meals would have been returned,

We went for a family dinner early Friday after school. Waited ages at the bar for a drink and to order. Food eventually came and it was cold and had no taste. Couldn't find a member of staff to send it back. When we went up to the bar to say something the guy simply replied with you'll have to wait we've only got 3 members of staff in no apology at all just attitude. To which we left our meal and left.

The Baldwin is our go to place when we are hungry for variety… since taking control some years ago Martin the manager has always gone the extra mile to ensure that his customers like me and my family are well taken care of and that the venue is kept clean and and running well…. The staff are friendly and are very good at their jobs. Whenever we visit we don’t go away disappointed…. we know from experience that the food will be fresh and tasty…. There will be something on the menu to temp us no matter the mood, it will be a good portion size and the price will be fair… I love value for money and I’ve always felt the meals here at the Baldwin are good for the money… even with the current price increase from hungry horse I would highly recommend the Baldwin I’ve been coming here for over 15 years and will no doubt be coming for many years to come… Well done Martin and the whole Baldwin team for a job well done… FYI: Reading through the reviews I can’t speak for other people’s personal experiences But if on a very rare occasion a customer has a problem… like a missing item that’s been ordered if they approach a member of the bar staff and highlight the issue, I know from experience they will rally around to fix the issue promptly and without fuss… I’ve in the past forgotten to order a meal for one in our party and only realised once the other meals have come out and they have rushed an order through to save the missing person waiting too long We’ve always had a great service from the Baldwin staff even when they are under pressure.

Went in for lunch at about 2/2:30pm to be met with some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long while and to make it better the food we were given was nicely presented and very tasty. Will definetly be returning. The people that were working are a credit to the manager!
