Nice little oasis in what isn't the best of areas. Quite busy when we went in. Lots of tables in there with standing space mainly near the bar. I used the app to order. Service was quick, the staff were very friendly the food was very good, you could count the chips and the beans at a glance. But I'd rather have a small portion of nice food than a plate full of swill. I'll pop in again next time I'm in the area.

I have had most probably the worst day of my life. I went to have a drink and Tasha overheard me asking someone to remember the round. We didn't even have to ask for the order. That Lady is a God send and I really hope she can manage her own pub very soon. JD, you do not want to lose this lady to another chain!! She was amazing, freindly and a delight. Tasha, you have no idea what I went through today, but thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are a real life angel

Best Wetherspoon in Yardley 😄. The old Woolworths at the yew tree. Nice people, customers and staff. Good real ales and always good Guinness.

One of the best pubs around here. Service is fast and staff are always very helpful.

Went in just after Christmas, was fairly busy but had some nice ales on cask, served fairly promptly at the bar and the ales were in good condition

Best time I think to go is early morning, nice and quiet and peaceful. Best value on the planet

So sorry to post this but I am sick and tired of ordering 8 chicken wing basket with chips coleslaw naga sauce and chips can't the staff in the kitchen follow what should be on the order which is 8 chicken wing basket not 7 as this is the third time. Never an apology just sarcasm when you challenge very disappointed especially when it's a nice meal 😐

It's an inner city Wetherpoons, so you expect to see a mixture of people from the local area. From deathly looking old men using it as personal day care, to bright young things, meeting friends and catching up. This one is no different. Attractive decor, good food and drink at reasonable prices, served by very friendly and attentive staff. I enjoyed my visit.

Sat nav for toilet, I mean, a set of stairs!?!?, plus a set of two more, and more turns than a learner driver on test

Breakfast was good and at good price with unlimited hot drink but service was terrible no smile, no one asked us if everything was OK. The staff look miserable.

I ordered food and Guinness. Food arrived but no drink. Waitress checked and said I didn't order it. I showed her my PayPal was charged for both. I paid again to get my pint which was the worst I have experienced in a long time so I left. Later in the day I noticed a refund for the first pint. Despite my assurance to the manager that I paid, she was having none of it.

Quite a busy pub even mid-morning which was when I visited last for coffee, but that does give it atmosphere.

Went for breakfast, which arrived promptly and was hot. On the whole it's a nice place to go, it's only downside is where it's situated there aren't many place's to park nearby for disabled people.

Food was poor. Beer decent struggled to be seated.

Popped in for a quick drink before going out for a curry. It was busy but managed to grab a seat. Will certainly call in again.

Needs to apply rules that are nation wide they is what makes Witherspoon's a safe environment this one is dirty in all areas. Drinkers are bullies and don't make the place welcoming lucky Clumsy Swan walking distance from here 100% more hospitable didn't spend any money to moody in there

Can’t rate the place highly enough, yes it’s a Wetherspoons … we all know what to expect but the service is fast and everyone there is lovely staff wise. The food is fest and consistently good. The toilets are are always fantastic, clean, locks and loo roll ! .. great !

Typical witherspoon, great value, good staff, great variety of food and drink on offer. Marked down 1 star as tables were abit mucky but it was quite busy. Also forgot to put mushroom on my breakfast.

Called in for some food as I was working nearby. Placed was packed out but still managed to find a seat. Relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Decent Wetherspoons. Usual food quality and cheap prices. New barmaid struggled with our order and got a few bits wrong but I think because she was new. The tapas style food (starters) were great!

The afternoon was quiet and calm, food is good and staff are very friendly. One issue is smokers right in the doorway and all the smoke comes into the building so don't eat by the door.

Lovely time in a pub which on first looks isn't that welcoming. Staff go that extra mile to give you great service

I recently went to this pub and found the food and drinks good I am a disabled women and found that even though the toilet was downstairs everybody that wasn't disabled was using it and it was in a disgusting state I won't be using it again

This is the usual good value wetherspoons set up.

Having had a wonderful day at my step-daughters graduation, on the way home we thought that we would stop at one of our favourite brands 'Wetherspoons'... As we entered the building, some neanderthal sat outside said to my step-daughter 'put some clothes on'... Luckily I did not hear this until we got home...After walking in then swiftly walking out of this gruesome establishment we took our business elsewhere... I respectfully ask the management to identify this moron and bar him... Alternatively, some friends and I may return to investigate and correct this scumbag ourselves... Good news is, we found another venue for our meal (not spoons) and spent our £200+ there... With Wetherspoons currently closing several sites, I would recommend that this is one of them AVOID THIS PLACE... IT WILL HOST & SERVE PEOPLE WITH SINGLE DIGIT IQ's

We had a strange mans pic on the celing watching us eat as we sat down under a precarious looking wine glass chandelier, just waiting to have one drop on our head. It looked nice though. Then needed the loo so went on the weatherspoons express 14 mins to the back of the pub, up what felt like a mini mountain, hiked the 10 miles to the loo before returning 6 hours later to find some amazingly prepared food at the tables. The food was cooked perfectly. Staff were super friendly, and on the ball, and I did learn a lot about our local history off the superb decore around the room. Overall, it was a superb weatherspoons experience

Food, like in most Wetherspoons has gone downhill. Meat in mixed grill overcooked (no option on app to ask for rare or medium for the steak component). Breakfasts disappointing, with bacon so thin it's translucent. Chips taste like instant mash wrapped in a stale Pringle. Beer, on the other hand is good and cheap. Rotation of guest ales and large selection of bottles lagers and craft beers.

Only tried the Breakfast to eat, Great value for money refills on the Tea was a Bonus 😉 Would definitely recommend a try 👌

Busy at the time we called in around 5.30to6pm. Service was good though and the meal hot. All the staff where friendly. I will call here again when next in Birmingham.

As spoons pubs go - this one is not too bad. Some good cask ales and decent cans in the fridge. (Helps that there was a "beer festival" on at the time of visiting).

Great improvement in last few years. Friendly place, nice pub. One of the better Wetherspoons. Only thing for improvement is the cleanliness of the tables. You don't see tables being wiped down very often at all.

I don’t know what these negative reviews are about. I’ve been going pretty much every Sunday for a few months for breakfast and it’s never failed. Staff are great all the time. Typical cheap and cheerful. It’s a spoons after all

Been here a few times now, usually for a full English breakfast, before a busy day, staff are always helpful and never a bad breakfast. I'm thinking of booking a table for Valentines!!

For a brief moment, I thought one of your over-the-limit customers had snuck behind the bar, slumped over the till and was attempting to serve customers while struggling to stay awake from a heavy night before. I was horrified to realise you were actually paying this woman. Without hesitation, this is one of the top 2 worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Does this woman know the difference between vegan and vegetarian? I doubt she even knows the difference between up and down, the state she was in. After managing to pry a few one-word answers from her, I learned that for some reason, there is no longer a vegan breakfast available, despite still being on the menu. Hash browns have been contaminated. So it was agreed with the kind intervention of staff who were capable, to give me a breakfast with a few substitutions to enable me to have a breakfast without items that I'm not able to eat safely. All for nothing, though, as the order turned up wrong anyway, as did the other orders for our table that I had hoped were a bit easier to understand. Avoid!
