Ate last night , Sophie and Dina went above and beyond , thoroughly enjoyed the evening

The food was excellent freshly cooked and the service spot on.

Came for breakfast after an overnight stay and Billy in particular was really accommodating!! Food was really good i’ll definitely be returning!

Not good for disabled. The toilets are up steps. We were visiting after a funeral. So no idea on costs.

Lovely pub we stayed next door at the premier inn so easy to get to pub just thru a door from reception food was amazing had the platter for lunch which was enough for us then went back in evening bogof on carling and chardonnay and certain food and cocktail locals friendly staff can't do enough for you breakfast in morning was lovely well organised and filling just want to go back now once a month really lively place x

Good atmosphere, slow service. Drinks came after we started eating and my wife's meal wasn't great. Shame as we do like a flaming grill

I visited the public house earlier today and was very pleased with the experience and service. I was able to watch the football and was served a couple of times by a member of staff called Lotti. . Lotti is a real credit to all the team at The Whitehorse.

Food was exceptional and the service was just as good! Manager Dave went above and beyond for us, I recommend this place highly.

Great atmosphere and food, servers name was Prem - really nice.

Food took ages to come and wasn't hot. Just warm, so didn't enjoy it as much.

Went for a boxing day meal. Service was excellent, the food was good with plentiful portion sizes, and there was plenty of space around the seating. Plenty of parking, which needs you to enter your registration in at the bar. A good venue and easy to order using the app.

Very polite and accommodating staff

Absolutely fantastic experience today, family pre Christmas lunch get together, grandparents (us) our children and grandchildren. Everything was made very special by Dave and his Team, must mention Deana in particular who provided our table service, but, I must say, ALL staff today were exceptional, including the bar staff who made sure our Tea was exactly as we like it (we are particular about our tea). Youngest granddaughter (Who was feeling a little queasy) was really well catered for, special pudding made to her own specific requirements and a doggy bag to take away her uneaten lunch. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was also delicious and cooked beautifully, ie, mixed grill, steak n ale pie, Hunter chicken and Rib eye Steak all cooked to perfection. Very highly recommend The White Horse and Dave and his whole team, even though they were very busy, service was second to none. Thank you Mike Flanagan

I Very much enjoyed my food and the fact they have a vegan menu was absolutely awesome all 3 meals that were eated including the vegan were 10/10, in the past ive had a burnt burger here but this was much nicer and my dogs enjoyed my left overs

Excellent Fish in Batter thick tasty and brilliant white fish became a regular , 2 for 1 where can you get fish and chips for £7 each. Always cooked to perfection better than any chip shop and cheaper, nice pub inside . Staff are excellent Deana always smiling and chearfull , bar staff are happy and kind all in all excellent.

Had multiple bad experiences with this pub recently, used to be a good place to go with the family but now the new owner seems to think everyone is doing drugs, he even went as far as following my friends old mother into the toilet and telling her “I know what your doing” caused major distress and will not be returning, food was tosh aswell

Pop in for a pint after visiting local hospital, Abbotts is a great pint and the food is great value and tasty

I take my mom here every Friday and Sunday she has dementia but enjoys the food and the people and staff really take the time with her.i have tried most of the restaurants in Sutton and mere green and can quite honestly say that non of them compare to the white horse for prices quality and helpfulness of all the staff

As always this pub is accommodating and serves excellent food. The staff and management are amazing and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This is the reason why we travel over 80 miles to come here.

Visited this place for my sons 16th birthday.. it was quite a large booking food was amazing and staff were fabulous so attentive they even came out singing happy birthday for my son.. Amazing team lead by manager who was so friendly...defo be back soon thank you 😊

Parked in the pub car park and entered our registration in the terminal on the bar. Still got a parking fine and when we phoned the pub for clarification and left a message they never bothered to reply In response to your reply Unfortunately I was unable to answer your calls due to the nature of my job. We live over 60 miles away so cannot pop in as you suggest but would be willing to send you a copy of the ticket as proof. We paid the £60 fine yesterday as you hadn't replied and we didn't want the fine to rise to £100

Last minute trip, ordered a Sunday lunch as stated in the menu had to confirm this 3 times what came out was not what I ordered and came with missing items. Was not very hot just warm , my daughter didn't eat hers Mac and cheese it was just pasta and melted cheese that was just oily on top and all stuck together underneath (one lump) and the chicken coating was stodgy and not edible ,my son ordered the all day breakfast that was ok apart from the bacon it looked like it hadn't been cooked. I was very disappointed as I was recommended this place. It definitely wasn't worth the price I paid.

Are you sure you have the right "White Horse"? Our sat-nav mistakenly led us to this one after leaving Drayton Manor, instead of the one in kingsbury road Sutton Coldfield. The moment we pulled into the car park, we felt unwelcome, thanks to the immediate threat of parking fines, rather than welcome signs. Upon entering, we asked the staff how the seating worked. They were chatting between each other and stared blankly. We asked again until it registered. We actually thought we had booked a table through their website but didn’t tell them that as place was almost empty. As we were directed to a table we observed nobody eating roasts on a Sunday and were told there was no table service. This made us suspicious about the food. On the table was a wipe-clean menu covered in pictures. The sad-looking Sunday roast, with limp meat, bore no resemblance to what we had expected from the White Horse we thought we'd booked. That's when we had the sinking realisation that we were at the wrong location. We exited through the back door, but soon realised that since we hadn’t made a purchase, we were likely to be fined. So, we had to pay for two hours of parking - the minimum allowed - just to leave a place that does absolutely nothing to attract customers. We were starving hungry too so this shows the atmosphere of this place. *Edit to manager* Can’t you see that your place was so unwelcoming and the food looked so processed and terrible, that we preferred to pay to leave than eat with you. There is a reason you were empty on a Sunday. One of your cooks is clearly a microwave.

This used to be my local pub and I come back here a lot to see friends and have a meal. We just arrived back from a very long drive as we’d set out from Scotland this morning and we were very tired. We had a really good meal here for a reasonable price and the staff were really kind. For us the portion sizes were just right. Filling but without leaving a load of waste. They have refurbed since my last visit and it looks good. This pub will continue to receive our custom.

Came here to eat first time with the family, food portion sizes are ridiculous so small for the money that you pay, fish is absolutely vile size is about the size of your palm, me and my sister didn't even eat it it was horrible they don't use cod or haddock like 99% of places didn't even say in the menu after when we went to look when asked they used talipia which is a vile fish tastes like it's from the sewers you get about 8 chips and a tablespoon of peas, asked for no sauce or salad on the burgers which came with sauce and salad on, ordered garlic ciabattas and they brought out 3 pieces of normal garlic bread instead, chicken was dry.. awful experience definitely would not go back and definitely not what we expected from a Greene king pub either

Good place for a drink with mates.

Great venue to meet up with the family, lovely well cooked, great value food. Served with a smile. Good selection of beers and wines to accommodate anyone's tastes. Plus, you can watch a game when it matters. Again, it's great value Thursday.

Thank you thank you thank you for the great food and service - I had driven down from Manchester (on Friday the 13th - WHY) and yeah it was hell... ...I was completely frazzled and starving when I got here. You all made me feel so much more human! Being autistic and prone to overwhelm in pubs with piped music, this means the world. Cannot thank you all enough x ❤️

Booked for a group of 18 to celebrate an 80th birthday and had fantastic service from all the friendly staff!

Ordered fully loaded chicken strips with curry sauce. I got chicken strips and chips with curry sauce. They must have forgot or run out of the fully loaded part.

Great customer service from chloe and the team. Working away from home, and made to feel at home. Service was impeccable, and all staff members very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return.

I really was lost for words on my last visit and to be honest couldn't find words to sum it up! I am only posting now as driving past today I see it is undergoing some work so I'm hopeful when I return not so much it is updated but a wholesale cleaning regime has been addressed as I honestly was shocked by obvious lack of pride or any cleaning regime, from dirty glasses and cutlery right through to windows and all the fixtures my husbands experience in the toilets was just as shocking as mine they were utterly disgusting graffiti aside they were filthy so bad was the whole experience ( apart from lovely bar maid and young server) it was just impossible to process how this was allowed to be going on. Hopefully situation is now been rectified and the refurbishment is part of a massive change to senior staff as I doubt it could remain the same! Edit.. Thank you for your reply. I apologise if my review seemed unfair however I would like nothing more than to enjoy my family time and I certainly did not exaggerate my experience. On saying that your open and honest response is refreshing and it made me think that with running such a place knowing it needed refreshing and then waiting for works to commence I guess I can see how my experience was affected so yet again thank you for your reply and I certainly will visit again
