Absolute terrible customer service in this place… very slow unfriendly staff who barely even talk to you and look at you like you aren’t even human. Food is clearly frozen and not fresh. They can’t cook properly Place is dirty. Seriously need a refurbishment and new staff. If it carry’s on, we need to take it to the council as it’s such a shame they ruin the park experience

First time myself and a few colleagues have stayed here, and got to say it was excellent. Seemed good value and service. I personally think a better option to our previous trip to this area when we all stayed at the premier inn. Only slight things but minor. The light in the rooms wasn't bright enough for me/working in. The door locking with the key was a bit of a pain as you got to remember everytime you leave the room and then carry a key with the large fob around.

Had tea and cake after trip to Hardy's cottage and walk along Roman road. Good tea and cake. Cafe packed with dogs which is not compatable with good hygiene. Also they present trip hazard for busy staff. Dogs should be tethered outside which would be the responsible thing to do.

Breakfast Bun with a friend at the Southbank. The bun was cold (frozen) in the middle, the sausage and tomato, even though it had been in the microwave. Afterwards felt a sickly taste in the mouth and gurgling stomach - probably was laced with sugar or artificial additives. Highly unhealthy. The lady who served us was rude short and nasty, why I have no idea. Views were very nice as always.

Oh my goodness I wish I hadn’t bothered! We ordered a roast which didn’t take long to be served. We were both super hungry so were looking forward to our meal It was evident that everything had been reheated. The meat was tough and dry and the veg was soggy The staff didn’t have time to check on us as they were too busy messing around behind the bar We eventually left with the plates still on the table Extremely poor customer service. No one cared!

The Waitress certainly saved the day. The salad i ordered didn't suit the £18 price tag. I ordered a Superfood Salad with added chicken. I'm glad I added the chicken because the actual salad was more of a starter than a main. Really nice salad and chicken cook to perfection however certainly not worth £18 for some leaves and half a breast of chicken. Service was fantastic and Bronia couldn't do enough throughout our visit.

You know how you check out a website and it looks great so you plan to stop there for lunch after a 100 mile drive? That's what we did at the Royal Oak, Andoversford. The website boasted "Step inside for proper pub food, an ale or gin to suit every palate and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors alike." There had been good reviews for the food. Arriving at 1.15pm on a Friday, the car park was almost empty, which was weird. Then we stepped inside the low-ceilinged main room and there were just five blokes sitting at the bar chatting. Tomato ketchup and other condiments were on every table so my husband ordered a couple of drinks and asked for the menu. The woman behind the bar said "Sorry we're not serving any food until 6 o'clock." Very disappointing and annoying there was nothing on offer even though the tables looked ready. We drank our drinks and left. Fortunately the Frogmill hotel wasn't far away and we had an excellent lunch there. The website still states "Friday: drinks 12-11pm, food 12-2.45pm & 6-9pm" but it's probably wise to phone and check if you're planning to visit. Personally, I'm not bothering.

Nice view, the place is understaffed and bad service. Be prepared to be badly treated. Our plates took more than an hour to be ready. A bearded waiter treated us with disdain and looked at us with disgust. The meat was terribly presented. Worst expense ever!!.. if you can, just skip this place.

Cracking homely, local pub which is great for a few drinks and/or meal. Warm and friendly staff, nice, relaxed atmosphere. Serves good, homemade, tasty traditional pub grub with wide selection available and all reasonably priced. It’s nothing fancy but doesn’t try to be and that’s why we love it. It’s popular and often gets busy, even on some weeknights, so worth booking if you are going with a group or have in mind a particular time to go.
