We ordered a devon pasty and a vegetable pasty. Both were inedible. Luke warm to cold. Microwaved so soft. Fillings were horrible. Staff didn't bother to check if meal was OK. We left the food and walked out. Avoid this place. I don't review often and usually only if very good, but this was bad enough to warn others

Friendly little pub with some additional out door seating. Had a decent ale here from the bar. The landlord was accommodating and the pub interior was great

Definitely the best Vegetarian Breakfast. Served all day . Excellent value and great coffee. Friendly staff and dog friendly. Don’t forget to browse their shop as well . A veritable Aladdin’s Cave.

Went to this legendary place (still known to the wife and I as "The Green Cafe") for breakfast and had the Hash Brown Stack. It was absolutely perfect and I would recommend it to any growing lad or ladette. Really tasty and crispy. And enough to satisfy my appetite.

Driven past this pub sooo many times travelling to and from Plymouth but a family occasion caused us to make a visit, and it was well worth the stop! Sunday is carvery day and at £15 per head (adult) and £7.50 (kids) I think it’s excellent value for money, with a choice of two meats and about a thousand vegetables - ok I’m exaggerating slightly. Large car park with easy access off the eastbound carriageway of the A38. I would recommend booking as there were a lot of “reserved” notices on the tables as we were leaving! You could relax by one of the log fires 🔥 with my book “Professor Harry Parker and the Tunnels of Argonaut Bay” available on Amazon kindle! If enough people buy it J.K. Rowling might have to pursue me through the courts! 🤣

Tailored a walk on the SWCP (Coast Path) from Jennycliff to visit this place, and it was well worth the effort! Beautiful venue, decked out for Xmas, and really welcoming on arrival! It was only a quick visit before walking back, so my mate and I only went for a light bite BLT ciabatta with a pint! Great menu, reasonably priced. Service was exceptional from the front of house, Luke. Great banter and chats, as we ate at the bar. 👌 This place has a lovely warm feel to it, and I'll definitely be back and bring the Mrs for a lovely meal. 🙏 Cheers, Team!

Country pub with all the expected vibe. Cosy in the winter, large sunny garden for the summer and the food is honest pub food.

Lovely friendly village pub. We stopped for a drink on way back from walk to the beach while staying at Leonards cove ( family 6 adults, 3 children, a baby, and 2 dogs) Very welcoming and dog friendly. We only stopped for refreshment and sat outside but next time would like to try the food.

I went with a group of friends to the so called reggae/dub night, which we had been looking forward to for ages. But we were so disappointed, we left not long after we got there. The energy & vibe is Pure Babylon. As a lover of reggae/steppas/dub/dnb, I was left feeling so let down by the organisers, who clearly don't know what they're doing. Hail to Jah & Rastafari
