Huge disappointment. Be warned! What is on offer is nothing like what is shown on website. Had to wait three quarters on an hour and then had to prompt for menu. Young staff very pleasant but untrained for restaurant work. Had to ask for condiments and table water. Had three different mains and all equally mediocre. Would not recommend. Very different from the divine food service and bon homie of the previous owners.

Lovely rural location. Food very nice. Husband had egg/mayo sandwich and chips which was tasty and I had cream tea. Scone was fresh, warm and home made with clotted cream and choice of jam. We were the only people there although another party was leaving when we got there and a large table was booked for afternoon tea. Would definitely recommend and very pleasant staff.

We celebrated our daughter's 5th birthday party today at Amazing Grazing. It was incredible- marquee set up with tables; smaller marquee with tuff trays of games; whole paddock with tonnes of activities from building to tyre rolling to a miniature flower shop; goat, pig and alpaca supervised feeding. Superb from start to finish. Fantastic value for money and Taro was so helpful right from booking to the day itself making sure it was the best experience for our little girl and her friends.

We were in Devon for a family occasion and in need of breakfast so popped in to Toast on account of their being able to cope with Gluten Free diners such as myself. I was immediately impressed to be asked if the gluten free request was due to being coeliac, and it was extremely reassuring to know they understood importance of minimising the risk of cross contamination within their (presumably small) kitchen. The food itself was hearty and very tasty and we certainly didn't leave hungry! Similarly, the service was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was a real pleasure to eat there and we'll be back like a shot if we find ourselves in Honiton again!

What a find 💜 Totally random choice of eatery on route from Bristol to Brixham. Family if 5 adults all very satisfied. comments: best chips ever, excellent fresh veg with pie, all of it superb. I had fillet sole which was excellent, very reasonably priced. Can host small or large groups. Lots of GF options. Will be saving location for when we’re next in the area.

Our cream teas were a disappointment. Of the four key elements, the tea and cream were good. The single fruit scone was fine but had chewy, overcooked fruit on the outside and none inside—perhaps the fruit was pressed in before baking. The jam was gluey, lacked discernible fruit, and was difficult to spread. At £9.50 per cream tea (£19 for two), the price felt very steep—especially as it wasn’t displayed on menus, boards, or signage. Transparency around pricing matters, and the much lower prices still shown on Google appear out of date. The café advertises its “award-winning” cream teas, but there are no details online about what the awards are or when they were given. I rarely leave critical reviews, but when something this simple is priced at a premium, it should be spot on. I hope the café takes this as constructive feedback.

Lovely find amongst the streets of Sidmouth. Sat in courtyard which was dog friendly. Food was lovely. Bacon butty had by husband ‘couldn’t fault it’ and he’s had a few. I enjoyed a cheese scone with a lovely chutney. The service deserves a mention, very efficient, helpful and friendly.
