Popped in today by chance in the pouring rain! Staff were super friendly, good banter and lots of laughing! We had bacon baguettes that were delicious and as tea (not coffee) drinkers, you served a lovely cuppa! Thank you, we will be back again very soon and will be sharing what a gem you have with family and friends. Deli/cafe done right! 10 out of 10 😊

My wife and I had a bacon brie sandwich on granary bread stunningly fresh, while I had awesome bacon and cheese toasty both with crisps & coleslaw. An old saying comes to mind. You've tried the rest NOW try the best!

My husband and I went to this lovely little cafe ,Friday 6th September 2024 and had an afternoon tea and was very pleasantly surprised.Not only did it look beautiful, it was really delicious, everything was very fresh and tasted lovely. Also I have to say the staff there were also very lovely, helpful and friendly and polite and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were on a little 2 day break in Exmouth but if around that area again will definitely return again. Thank you ladies for our lovely afternoon tea

Great little cafe and deli on Exmouth Strand. Good coffee with a choice of flavoured syrups and a super selection of savoury food including the chill jam sausage rolls, delicious. The only thing it lacks is a better selection of cakes to go with your coffee/tea.

Place to come and sit down to eat overlooking the strand area with outdoor seating. Bacon, brie and cranberry sandwiches are superb. Top tip: sit at a table and note table number, then go inside and order and pay. Then sit at your table and the waitresses will bring fairly swiftly.

Can't speak highly enough of this place. Delicious food, very reasonable prices and a gorgeous atmosphere. Very highly recommended.

Being a resident of Exmouth for almost 6 years I'm ashamed to say this was our first visit but it certainly won't be our last. Top quality food and service,well done to all the hardworking young girls . Afternoon tea/coffee , sandwiches,cake and cream tea. £18 per couple is an absolute bargain.

We had afternoon tea for two here today Monday 17 June. The quality of the food was very good. Lovely scones with plenty of cream and jam. Sandwiches, scones, millionaires shortbread plus two large mugs of tea for £18 for the two of us. I highly recommend this place

What an amazing find! From the welcome we received in store to the beautiful food and coffees! (Great selection of syrups!) presented beautifully and all three ladies we met was a credit! The young lady made us a beautiful coffee (honeycomb was delicious) bacon bap was cooked to perfection! The service we received was above and beyond, even when the rain started we were invited straight inside! I honestly can’t thank you enough for such a lovely breakfast morning! Keep up the amazing work! P.S Bella loved the bacon!

What a fantastic find. Went for a celebratory breakfast bap with my wife and daughter. Absolutely beautiful food and coffee and a reasonable price. Highly recommended. The food was so good that we'd eaten it and forgot to take pics. Just have to take my word for it. Contrived to serve a steak pasty to a vegan. Don't go here if you value choosing what you eat.

First time visit to Exmouth and needed brunch so looked around for somewhere with quality food and drink and settled here at Deli on the Strand. Really friendly service (friendly really does seem to be the norm in Devon) with an interesting and varied menu to chose from. The Bacon and the sausage cobs were delicious, enhanced by the tomato relish. Coffees were excellent so we stayed for extra coffees to go with the tasty cakes on offer. Will be back again next month for the cooked breakfasts and lovely atmosphere here.

Not very happy with service 20 minutes to clean our table, then 50 minute wait for a toastie I understand if it was busy but it wasn't.

Lovely sitting in the sunshine with the most delicious chai latte I have had, my Mom had a very well made flat white, followed by freshly made ciabatta and pannini's! Highly recommended

Just a small breakfast stop but staff were polite and friendly. Bacon roll with chutney was great- and in a crusty roll which was so much nicer than the soft baps you normally get. Nice big bacon too, no skimping.They were busy so my table had the last people’s crockery on for quite a while but other than that brilliant. I’d go back again

Stopped for a drink and then fancied a bite to eat. Asked for ham and cheese sandwich which was not on the menu which to our amazement they kindly made. Turned out very nice with fresh bread.

Been here a few times, nice atmosphere, lovely food, nice service, but the coffeee lets them down. The cappuccino is very poor, more like a weak latte. Thus the 3* score.

Only stopped for coffee but so so much more on offer in this deli/coffee shop. Coffee was excellent and the best we had during our visit to Devon.

We popped into the deli on the off chance when passing. We are so glad we did. First off, the deli box, all of which was amazing and a decent price for what was included. The chutney was particularly amazing. The scone has to be the best scone I’ve ever had, no exaggeration! It was delicious!! Plenty of cream and jam to go with it aswell. A really lovely deli, helpful and friendly staff, the only downside is that we don’t live closer! If we visit Exmouth again, we will be sure to come again.

Ate here on the recommendation of a friend and boy am I glad I did. I had a turkey and ham pie and I can hand on heart say that it’s the best I’ve ever eaten. After Id finished, although completely full I bought 2 more to take home. Who ate all the pies?... me!

This place is brilliant. Friendly and tasty food. The bacon roll is possibly the best bacon roll I have ever come across. The chutney makes it stand out from anything else!

We only went here for takeaway coffees. We asked for large, we paid for large but they weren't very big! Shame because it was good coffee. Just needed to be in bigger cups.

Wandering around Exmouth, we were in need of a drink and something to eat. The tables outside looked inviting and the staff friendly. We grabbed a seat and had tea, coffee and a pasty. All were very good. Really nice deli with really nice staff.

We have been here alot &the service has never faltered. All the staff are very pleasant nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the food is excellent always fresh although most is cooked daily on the premises. All diets catered for.

Excellent service and delicious food. A real gem. I had a salad box that come with an onion chutney which was delicious. They sell the chutneys and preserves, and I just had to buy a jar. Highly recommended

Stopped off in Exmouth on our travels and came here for lunch. A lovely selection of home made food which we really enjoyed. I had the steak and blue cheese pie and my wife had a salad plus a cake. All very good

Great local deli located on the Strand with outside tables also really good take-away hot choc and coffee. Friendly staff. Recommend the blue cheese & sunflower seed scones, Tom's pies, caramel & choc florentines. Lovely gift items too.

This deli always has fresh homemade lunches and snacks. The menu changes daily. They also sell local produce and gifts.

A HUGE thankyou to Sarah and everyone at the deli. We needed to send a special 'cheery up' Mother's Day gift and they went above and beyond; creating a bespoke hamper and delivering it for us. It was very gratefully received. Superb quality - "totally delicious" we are told - and they were so patient and kind in finding just the right things to make our loved one smile after a challenging year on her own. Wonderful service and fabulous products. We very much look forward to visiting in person post lockdown. XXX

Called in for a cuppa, and what a lovely one it was! The service was friendly and efficient. Surroundings clean and deligtful. Tea was made with whole milk which delivered the best cup I had in Exmouth. And a sausage roll and a scone which were also gorgeous.

This is a fab little deli run by a great couple Stu and Sarah and their friendly staff. We had a really nice lunch there, which was very reasonably priced. We will make sure to drop into the Deli next time we are in Exmouth.

We had afternoon tea which was lovely. Locally sourced and lots of home made products. It was so good, we went back again two days later and had lunch which was equally good. Very reasonable prices, generous portions and very friendly service. Lots of vegetarian choices.

An improvement in the coffee since our last visit to the Deli. Despite tea normally served in a mug, ( a pet hate of my husband!) my request instead for a pot was accommodated.

I’ve been here for coffee a few times but today my friends & I had lunch, it was lovely & so tasty! Lovely staff & nice chilled environment. I had the vegetarian quiche & Salad, which was wonderful! I also had the creamiest hot chocolate & it tasted yummy :) I would definitely recommend visiting here :) I left a very happy customer!

The field mushroom and spinach pie had great flavour and lovely and moist. Their mixed side salad was excellent too. Good value in a central location.

Despite our very particular and specific ordering, staff here were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Not only that, but when the assistant realised she’d overcharged me (I did not notice) she immediately brought me the difference to our table. We returned for pastries before we went home and got more invaluable help in finding local crab meat.

Such a cosy place to relax and have a bite to eat. Delicious pastries, cakes and hot drinks; so much to choose so I'll have to go back 😉 The decor is lovely, it feel likes a farm shop with lots of local Devon preserves, chutneys and teas! Friendly staff and nice location on the Strand in the centre of Exmouth.

Found this cafe/restaurant after walking round the strand in Exmouth, menu looked good so we tried it. Well worth it to great food and service would fully recommend it.

This food is so pure, fresh and locally sourced. The menu is almost impossible to choose from, with all kinds of delicious options. Varying from home made pies to sandwiches, soups, toast and pancakes. Nicely located in the pittoresk town centre of Exmouth. Also plenty of ingredients available to take home. Go enjoy this place!

I visited here for lunch a while back when family visited me in Exmouth and they were delighted to sample the variety of fresh and local produce. My boyfriend and I recently visited for brunch and were amazed at the quality of the food and were able to have a cheeky midday beer. Thanks again.

Fave place in Exmouth for lunch. Great choice but the 🦀 crab is a particular favourite. Today I had the crustless quiche and it is easily the best quiche I have ever had.

This high quality delicatessen sits amid the very centre that is Exmouth's hub. From its large light and airy windows one can see right across the Square; its end of terrace location permitting a scenic vista from two sides. In fair weather there are also tables and chairs where one could sit outside on the pavement; some partly shaded by a canopy. The fare on offer is varied; from just a cuppa, to a light snack or a substantial meal. Its clientele range from the passing tourist to a loyal local customer base - always an excellent recommendation: This is a place I regularly visit and am certain would suit any discerning taste

So lucky to have found this wonderful deli for a delicious lunch in Exmouth. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food, all homemade, was superb. I had a crab sandwich and my husband a pork pie with chutney, coleslaw and salad. Both were fresh and tasty and we are only sorry that our weekend break will not allow us to return this trip but we will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.
