Four of us thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday roasts. Delicious meat, excellent gravy and so many vegetables. Generous helpings served by very personable staff. Puddings were terrific. Jon, our host is just the best landlord around. We all love coming to The Keepers, and thoroughly recommend it to everyone.

The staff are exceptional in their efforts to make your stay go well. And I want to note the helpā¦ more than helpā¦ provided by Steve in changing my friendās flat bicycle tire. She was having some issues getting it done and he fixed it in minutes. Reception, housekeeping, and waitstaff. Excellent. But especial thanks to Steve.

We walked from Chedworth Roman Villa to Seven Tons Inn for lunch. Plenty of tables available as early weekday. The food took a long time to arrive as apparently they were a chef down. Food good but pricy and 10% service charge on top. Made a nice day out and nice pub so overall can't fault it.

After walking around Cirencester we chose The Crown for dinner. Although disappointed that the Sunday Roasts were sold out, our party enjoyed a Cheeseburger, Chicken and Mushroom Pie and, from the Childrenās Menu, a cheese pizza. The burger was a bit spicy, but all were pleased. The Chicken and Mushroom Pie consisted of chicken, mushrooms and gravy baked in a pastry with a crown on top served on whole peas. Delicious! All servings came with French Fries. We are very glad we found the Crown.

Generous roast Sunday lunch which everyone enjoyed, but very intermittent service. After 20 minutes, we had to go to the hostess desk as the sparkling water we ordered as we sat down hadn't arrived, and nor had anyone to take our drinks or food orders. This resulted in our orders being taken, but after another 15 minutes, we had to ask again for the water and the drinks. We were at out table for over 30 mins before we all had something to drink. The food then arrived quickly, although one dessert was forgotten and had to be asked for. The food was all good, but let down by the service. When pubs ask to have the tables back for the next sitting, they need to make sure you are served so that you can eat and have coffee before having to leave.

Fantastic hospitality and wonderful food. Sunday roast to die for: roast beef cooked perfectly, vegetables, excellent choice for time of year, also cooked to perfection. Not my first visit and looking forward to my next. Thank you, Sheila, Graham & Staff š Regards A-J & Pat

Bibury is such a beautiful place, we had hoped to find a pub that matched its style. This is a great spot for a basic pint and chips. The place itself is tatty and run down but served its purpose as a pit stop, we chose not to eat here.
