We were booked ( a very large family and friends group. Last year,We booked a variety of lodges, caravans and camping. This would have been for the last weekend of September 24. Today , we all got emails cancelling our bookings. Reason given : a Solitice event!!!! What appalling customer service. Offered vouchers for monies paid. Never will consider visiting a ParkDean resort .

Havnt been to this pub in roughly 10 years or so. Stopped for a drink in the garden with our daughter on the way back from Moors Valley she absolutely loved the little play area in the garden. I have to say we were impressed a lovely clean tidy pub good atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely return if in the area.

Staying at Harbour Hotel booked evening meal we had the crusty bread and olive oil as a starter it was lovely bread was hot and tasted divine , main courses fish and chips with crushed peas the fish was so big it was over the edge of the plate both sides , batter was light and fish flaky , for dessert we had the ice cream which was delicious . Service was relaxed but professional so overall a great meal well done all.👌

Had a lovely visit to The Lawns! The service was great—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We went for the carvery and it did not disappoint. The meat was beautifully tender, cooked to perfection, and packed with flavour. The roast potatoes were a standout too—crispy on the outside and wonderfully fluffy on the inside. All in all, a really enjoyable meal and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Called at lunch for a takeaway. I had cod and regular chips. The lad said be ready in 5 minutes so had a walk about, then back to collect. Ate in the park. Now here's why I marked down to 3. The fish was a nice piece of cod, chips okay. But please.....you must drain the oil off before wrapping up. Got to the park and oil was oozing out all over the place, and as they had not drained it in the hot counter long enough, the batter had turned slimy and stuck to the greaseproof paper. Spoilt what would otherwise have been a decent scoff. Wife said her burger and chips was good.

Don’t bother. Save your money. Possibly the worst take-away I’ve ever had. Complained via e-mail and phone but I was wasting my time. Even my dog didn’t want it! Such a shame because the lads behind the counter were so polite and helpful to customers- if only their food was as good.

The fish and fries were crispy. No queue and decent portions. Curry sauce was nice but gravy wasn't the best. It was watery and the server had to give it to us in a cup so it didn't "soak through the container." Kind of wish we picked a different sauce for our loaded fries which were otherwise pretty good.

Absolutely love coming here for lunch or even just a cuppa and cake. I am coeliac so it’s hard to find places to eat where I feel safe and happy to eat and know there will not be ill effects. The jacket potatoes are done in a proper separate oven and the toppings are all separate and the salad toppings are all put onto the plate with individual tongs. It tastes delicious, great sized portions. They also do gluten feee bread and sometimes the soup is suitable for me as well. A massive bonus for me as a cake lover is there is always plenty of choice for a coeliac sweet tooth like me lol! The atmosphere there is always lovely the staff are so friendly and polite. Tim always has time to say hello always has a smile and remembers his customers! Clean environment, first class food what’s not to love! We will continue to be regulars!

Fantastic service and good food. The staff kindly let us use the back room for a meeting (no charge) and we had teas and coffees for this and then stayed for lunch. Lunch was great and they catered for one of our party who had particular food requirements really well. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend. Really good for meetings too. Also wheelchair friendly.

Staying in this area for a few days and this is the second truly awful meal we have experienced. Sunday lunch, the food was cold and looked dreadful, limp veg, gravy by the lump. We would have sent it back but as we had waited over an hour for it to be served it was too late to reject the food and try elsewhere. I live fairly near this village and we have some wonderful restaurants, unfortunately this is not one of them. Never again, a frozen ready meal would be much better than the food we were presented with. When I complained my complaint was dismissed by the staff. The only part of the meal acceptable was the glass of red wine!
