Sparkling clean, tables free of any food/drink debris

The new owners had just moved inn so the place was a little chaotic but the staff were wonderful. It was also very festive.

I come here very often and I’m so impressed with the food and service this past 6/7 months, place is definitely loved and extremely clean 🧼 the constant dog treats available is such a lovely touch. The Priory feels like stepping into a loved home 💙

Went for champagne afternoon tea. The good: staff helpful, food quality ok, nice fire. About as much atmosphere as a motorway service area. Value for money very poor. Reservation a waste of time-seated in bar area at unset up table—was told lounge unavailable due to a conference—so why accept res? Brushing up while we were eating…not good!

Good atmosphere good food much enjoyed only downside is the outside buildings could do with a refresh. Staff were friendly.

A regular cod and chips, regular haddock and chips, then gluten free cod and chips. Finding a chip shop that does gluten free food in a separate fryer is. An. Absolute. Godsend! The service was fast and personable, the food was tasty and crispy!

Food was nice enough, chips were satisfactory. Paid just over £20 for 2 cod&chips. I visited last Wednesday (16th) ,it was very quiet and was served quickly however the woman serving me had long dark hair and was very unpleasant and quite rude and did not seem like she wanted to be there.

Just has a lovely meal (Fish chips and peas) and a drink, with the mrs, nice sunny day. What more could you ask for.

A long running rumour has it that The Quay is closing. Not very busy and no atmosphere this visit. Most of the real ale pumps were off. The Quay was our favourite Poole 'spoon and is in a great location. We hope it doesn't close.

The best Steak and Ale Pie and Mash, Jacket Potato with filling was great and Scampi and Chips with homemade Tartare was delicious. Great service and such a friendly polite member of staff served us who recommendedthe pie .Highly recommended

Havnt been to this pub in roughly 10 years or so. Stopped for a drink in the garden with our daughter on the way back from Moors Valley she absolutely loved the little play area in the garden. I have to say we were impressed a lovely clean tidy pub good atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely return if in the area.

Called in-and as normal with spoons whom offer excellent value for money quite busy,Service at the bar was quick when ordering drinks and food. Are meals arrived quickly and was hot and freshly cooked brought to us my friendly team member.

As always, welcomed and served by friendly Bar and Kitchen Staff. Food is plentiful and of good quality (had the Sunday Carvey this time - we usually have food from the Main Menu when we visit once or twice a month, Monday to Friday)
