Visited this Bar for lunch with a friend We only wanted a snack & a drink We chose the ham & cheese toastie which at £12 seemed expensive but considering the surroundings we thought we would go with it When it arrived it was just a toastie made from supermarket bread with no salad or extras and not even nicely arranged At £12 this was extortionate , we pointed out this to a member of staff who was sympathetic but obviously it was out of her hands I definitely would not recommend this place to eat

Ordered from here many times but today the baguettes are stale!!! Not impressed. We may have to consider going elsewhere, which would be a shame because I’d rather support a local business.

Came here for my birthday lunch. The staff at the distillery were so friendly telling us about their products and encouraging us to sample them - I had to buy a bottle of the raspberry shrub which was such a vibrant colour it will make any cocktail or dessert look amazing. The open barn is a lovely space and there is a patio and garden area, unfortunately the weather wasn’t that nice so we didn’t explore. For lunch we shared a cheese puff pastry to start which was freshly cooked and full of cheesy filling. I had a pea tart with a fresh salad and focaccia and my husband had the fish and chips, both looked and tasted amazing. The waitress was friendly and the master distiller/owner was on hand to explain to my husband that the beer wasn’t up to their standard but he offered a glass for free. The waitress also offered me a drink when she found out it was my birthday. We will be back to do the distillery tour and bring friends for lunch.

Biggest Wetherspoons we’ve been in and definitely one of the best! Lovely enclosed relaxing rooftop garden with well tended gardens overlooking the beautiful church. Good quality drinks. Food as per wetherspoons. Good attentive staff. Wish this was our local!

Unfortunately, our visit to The Harbour in Clovelly didn’t live up to expectations. The garlic chili gambas was underwhelming—swimming in oil and lacking in real depth of flavour. The pepperoni pizza was definitely from frozen. The food was served in takeaway containers with wooden cutlery that struggled to do the job, which really took away from the overall experience. While the quay view is undeniably lovely, it seems that’s what you’re mainly paying for. A disappointing stop in an otherwise charming village.

I've been coming here for many years. During covid I used to love coming here for a cold drink and something to eat after a bike ride around Broadstone and Wimborne. A friend and I came for dinner after not coming back for around 2-3 years. We used to love the garlic pizette but this time it didn't really feel the same as before. It wasn't garlicy at all. In fact it was just a dough pizza with a spot of cheese on half the pizza. The seafood and chorizo linguine was nice and filling, and my friend loved her lamb shank.

This was my first time visiting The Ox Row Inn and I can honestly say it was the best Sunday roast I've had out. My partner recommended the pub as he had previously been and said how lovely the food was. The staff were warm and welcoming, the pub itself had a charming atmosphere and the food was very tasty. We will definitely be going back in the future.

After a long day on the CW we were pleased to be warmly welcomed. I much regret that I cannot remember the name of the lady who greeted us, and who seemed be on duty permanently, doing everything, and who was excellent in every respect. Not sure why I should have been surprised that the accommodation was not part of the main building but it is was no less good for that. A good size room, good shower room and a very comfortable bed. Dinner menu was good as were the meals themselves. Breakfast, too, was good. We should be very happy to return.
