The Ox Row Inn es un típico pub en la localidad de Salisbury. Se encuentra muy céntrico y fácil de encontrar. Pub decorado al estilo England, pero más “abierto” en comodidad y espacio, además cuenta con una amplia terraza. Buena variedad de cervezas como es habitual en estos lugares; también cuentan con buena cocina y excelente servicio. Buena opción para un lunch o simplemente tomar unas pintas !!

It's amazing to me how much a sign could make a difference when picking this place to eat. I'm not sure if the staff deliberately choose not to let potential customers know that they also serve food upstairs or if they just think everyone automatically knows that this is the case by mind power alone. Myself and two friends stopped here for dinner on an early Saturday evening a few weeks ago. After standing at the bottom of the stairs waiting by the sign for someone to ask if we wanted to eat, we decided to take a look upstairs ourselves where we discovered the area was practically empty and two staff members who were having a good old chat about their lives. After waiting for them to finish their chat, we asked if they were serving food and if we could take a seat. I feel the only reason this place wasn't busy upstairs is because of the unfriendly feeling people get from the front of house staff and the misunderstanding that there is also another floor where you can relax and order your food despite it being busy downstairs. The food is really good and well worth the money, I think with a little tweek here and there, this would be a great place to stop

Visited for food with friends but ended up eating elsewhere. Menu choices initially looked reasonable (if not a little expensive) but with roast cauliflower as the only vegetarian option available, we felt the Ox Row really couldn’t be bothered to cater for non-meat/fish eaters and was making as little effort as possible to offer a suitable menu. An alternative dish of pea ravioli would have been a great option but it was served with bacon, which seems pretty short-sighted when it could have made an excellent vegetarian choice. Staff seemed bored and more interested in chatting among themselves hidden away from the main bar. A question about one of the beers was met with a shrug and a cba attitude. The Ox Row used to have some excellent staff-chatty, helpful and funny- not sure what’s happened but I won’t hurry back after this visit.

Best Sunday lunch I’ve had in ages. Lovely pub, great service thoroughly recommend. Delicious roast beef with great selection of vegetables. Serviced was food and served quickly.

Went for a roast dinner, was a lovely pub with nice staff. Sat down and asked if the pork came with crackling, was told yes. Both ordered pork and it came quickly and was a large portion and was hot. However the “crackling” was actually just pork scratchings in a tub of apple sauce😂. Not what I was expecting and was disappointing and not worth £18.95

So I went to the Ox Row for New Years 2023 Eve, to find out we needed to leave at 09:30pm. I can't tell you how disappointing this was for a city centre location.

After being treated appallingly at a steak place round the corner we find ourselves lucky enough to get a table here on Christmas Eve. We have been to the Ox Row before but this time the atmosphere was even better as it was lovely and Christmassy. The waitress was lovely, helpful and polite so different from the previous place we had to walk out of. Thank you, you saved our Christmas eve.

My wife and I popped into this great city centre pub having decided at the last minute to have a Christmas lunch. Although we hadn't booked the staff were very friendly and one member of staff in particular enquired as to whether they could squeeze us in. They could and the turkey lunch was excellent. The ale is also very good here. We thoroughly recommend this friendly pub to anyone - and we will be booking next year's Christmas lunch. Thank you.

My wife and I decided to go for a Sunday roast at short notice and we went into The Ox Row Inn at Salisbury and to say we were impressed would be an understatement. The whole experience from start to finish was 5 stars, highlights was the atmosphere, the food and the service. The food itself was so fresh, hot, flavoursome, good variety of vegetables and overall amount. As I said the service was brilliant, Paris was our host and she was superb. It was the first time we have eaten there, just had drinks before but we will be back again for a meal. Highly recommended.

We visited last night for a quick drink on our way home. Usually one of our favourite pubs, but certainly not anymore. Nearly £24 for two large glasses of Sauvignon Blanc, what a complete rip off. When queried, the staff member just grunted and shoved the price list in our general direction. Such a shame.

Not our first visit here, as we've always found it very welcoming with really good food. Faith and Jade were great, genuinely friendly, knowledgable, attentive and efficient. The food, my wife had Ox Cheek, I had Haddock and Chips, was superb. And it's a pleasant environment too. We'll be be back again for sure.

We came in at Lunch with only one waiter working the restaurant which was very full. He gave fantastic service and apologised profusely for the longer than normal wait times. Food was exquisite and Ciarans service was second to none, delightfully funny good knowledge of the beers. Fantastic food and drinks, good service will return!

Family visit to watch the Lionesses beat the Aussies in the semi final of the World Cup. Staff were really welcoming which made for a lovely atmosphere. The food was top notch too!

C’est bien mieux qu’un pub ! Ambiance cosy, service agréable et professionnel. Il y a plein de plats typiquement anglais à découvrir, accompagnés de bières ou de cidres. Quant au prix : bah, lorsqu’on voit le prix de certains lieux où on a une mauvaise pizza industrielle, eh bien, franchement, ici, c’est super bien. La décoration est de très bon goût. Ce lieu donne envie d’y revenir en toute saison. Atmosphère conviviale. Il y a quelque chose qui fait qu’on s’y sent bien. A ne pas manquer.

I am visiting salisbury with my family for a long weekend, on Sunday (14/08/2023) my kids, husband and I went to the Ox Row Inn for Sunday lunch. We were given the best service from a waitress called Molly. She went above and beyond to meet our demands. She was quick with table service and was a very polite young lady. I look forward to going back with my family very soon.

The Toilets, both ladies and gentlemen were disgusting! And as for the drinks prices! Over £16!!!! For a pint of Guinness and a small bottle of Prosecco!!! Never again will we go there again. It’s all about the money!

We saw the roast silverside beef on the board, advertised as perfectly pink, it was not! We ate at around one pm and somehow everything was dried up, the beef was overcooked, the Yorkshire pudding was so crunchy it shattered when trying to put our forks in, and the parsnips were just plain burnt ! For £20 a head we expected better than this, what we got instead of a treat out was a mediocre, lack lustre plate full of singed offerings! The service was good though, I’m guessing they had to get it out of the kitchen swiftly before the smoke alarms went off!
