There is a reasonable range of options, including for those of our party who were vegan. The self service style is fairly canteen like, but as it was not too busy when we visited, this was not a problem. The food was reasonable and the price was good.

Fat lady staff very rude. Came in with hubby and 2 friends at about 4pm, I asked if they were closing and what is the closing time, gave me a frown and dagger look before answering. Next, my lady friend and I went to the till and ordered. She was very rude and gave me that look again. When it was my friend's turn to order she changed her manner. By the way, I am Asian British. Called in to use the so call ‘restaurant’ and farm shop. Very disappointed. The ‘restaurant’ was very poor. Choice of sausages, fish fingers, pasty with chips or jacket potato, peas or backed beans. Meal was served on a paper plate with a wooden knife and fork. My old school meals were better. Tables weren’t cleaned and fabric chairs very warn, neither could have been Covid safe. Disappointing that a venue advertising fresh fruit and veg, and a farm butcher, had neither on the menu. The photographs above do not match what was on offer

Very disappointed with such a limited selection of cakes to go with coffee, and they did not appear to be home made - not what you would expect from a cafe associated with a farm shop. That said, the coffee was good and enjoyed the toasted teacake.

We went for a lunch out at the Meadows restaurant having heard some really great things about it. The cafe is in need of some TLC, looking a little run down. The food selection was extremely limited - either jacket potatoes, burgers or soup. This was disappointing as there was a large area for serving food going unused. The staff were on the line between friendly and apathetic. The food was distinctly average, though not one of the better lunches I’ve had in this kind of establishment. Portion sizes were not bad, and so value was alright. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again - on rediscussing with the person who recommend we decided it’s obviously gone down hill.

Just enjoyed a Christmas lunch at Meadows restaurant. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Lunch was served promptly and was delicious, more veg than we could eat. Unbelievable value for money. Starter and sweet equally as good. And even included mince pies and hot drink in the price. Would also recommend breakfast and Sunday car very to anyone’s. Excellent value and good size portions. Lunchtime weekday lunch menu much more limited (mainly burgers and jacket potatoes and panini etc) but this is principally aimed at families with children.

We visited here, whilst spending the day at Puxton Park. The food here was lovely, you get a great choice, large portions and at a very reasonable price. At some of these attractions you can feel that you are being ripped off but not here. The children's meal boxes were also a very good deal and very filling. You do not have to visit the park to actually eat here, which is a big bonus. You can also buy items from the shop and eat them within the restaurant. The service was efficient with very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely visit again when down that way.

How can breakfast be real fun, well at Puxton Park it can and I found out by accident. My daughters partner has a reputation of being a bit of a glutton and occasionally we go to breakfast together on the weekend, on this particular occasion I chose Puxton Park on going to order I noticed the photo of a huge silver platter with a massive amount of breakfast food on it enough for three. Smiling to my self I ordered it for him. As it was particularly cold that day they had the wood burning stove lite so we went and sat down by it.When the breakfast came he almost fell out of his seat but did in the end manage to eat most of it. Now when ever I take guests and family for breakfast I take the for Farmers Challenge breakfast I platter and three plates is what a normal family would eat. It takes time to get through it not from the food but for the fun of eating off a huge silver platter if it's by the fire then it's even better.

Might of been lucky as close to xmas but certainly made it great for us.Small children's play area in restaurant that also helps for little people entertainment. 8 of us had lunch after the kids enjoyed the park. This restaurant is obviously geared to high volume young family throughput at peak times. As a consequence cleanliness around the tables can suffer. The meal choices, although basic, offer a reasonable selection to suit families and the meals are of generous proportions and keenly priced, with concessions for children. The quality of the food was quite acceptable. We had no complaints from our party and as our meals were served up direct from the counter there was no waiting time to endure for the children. The restaurant is eminently suited to the park and it's clientele. Worth a try if you are using the adventure park..

We went into Madows restaurant with our grandsons, it wasnt busy, but there was a delay at the till so by the time they sorted out the problem our food was cold, it probably would have helped if the food was put on hot plates to start with rather than cold. There was no butter, and they couldn't find any, so had to wait 10mins whilst they went off somewhere to find some. We were told that they wouldn't charge us for the food, but we insisted that they exchange it for hot food. I thought that food of this standard was supposed to have died out by the end of the 1970's?. Ham, egg and chips is surely not that difficult to cook well ; but evidently it is for the catering team in Meadows Restaurant. The ham was anaemic looking and salty, the egg overdone and the chips re-heated from either breakfast time or the day before. Their fishcakes from the "Specials" board were like something found at the back of the freezer. The salad that came with it consisted of shredded lettuce, 3 segments or under ripe tomato ,2 limp slices of cucumber and a scattering of onion rings. I had expected a few chips but no doubt these would have been from the same leftover batch. Having waited nearly 30 mins for our food we did not have time to wait in a queue at the checkout to complain. The half eaten meals we left behind said it all.

Visited Puxton for the day - actual park is great fun and good value. However this restaurant is disappointing. The sandwiches for the kids selection box were paltry and tasted of cling film, the selection of food for adults was poor and presented like a 1970s motorway service station. The Puxton own ice cream is recommended though. Would not eat here again unless serious improvements made. I suggest they also try working on upgrading their current 4 star hygiene rating to the max 5. A real shame as this could be a real asset to the park. Over the past few years we have tried many cafes and restaurants for breakfast in the Weston Super Mare area and regret to say that this has to go to the bottom of the list in terms of quality and value. We arrived soon after opening time on a Saturday morning. We were advised that our food would be served in about 10/15 minutes. There is a reasonably varied menu of good home cooking, if you really like what you eat, then in the shop attached there is an excellent butcher, grocer, cheese counter, deli..... At 3.10 I went inside to see how long they would be drinks a rude tall woman with dark hair shouted at me ‘our screen is saying 25 mins can u see we busy’ no sorry just rude! So we decided to go and get served at the bar as there was no wait. We actually drank these then at 3.35 went to see where our drinks where that I ordered at 2.50! We eventually got them at 3.45. Then we ordered food which came within 15 mins. 👌Chicken bites were lovely! Garlic bread had no taste of garlic and the cheese chips lol see photo - what cheese. The female staff behind the bar need to learn how to use manners and SMILE. What a mirsable bunch. At least the male staff were friendly and welcoming. Won’t be going to this place again.

Consistently the best carvery I've eaten which is why I keep on returning with friends and family. Freshly cooked, hot and tasty. Although it is very busy on Sunday, the staff are always polite, friendly and efficient. Movenpick Ice-Cream is a real favourite (not easily found in the UK, so even more extra special).

The dining staff completely ignored my presence, so much so that I had to get up and ask at the bar for the pudding to be served. Their either need to train their staff to look the part and act the part or give up. Breakfast the following morning was similar, I had three staff not 4 feet from my table discussing their shift patterns at the top of their voices. I should have got up and asked them politely to move their discussions away from the paying guests but I did not.

We visited at the end of September, the food was pleasant enough although service slow. Decided to visit again a week later and waited 50 minutes for a 3 ingredient side salad and a simple pasta dish. Both occasions resulted in receipt of £100 fines for parking on the premises yet at no time did staff or signage alert us to the need to register our vehicle. This is so careless on the staff's behalf, and has resulted in locals deciding not to use the venue - nobody would willingly add £100 to their light-lunch bill nor go through the hassle of appealing fines simply because staff can't be bothered to advise visitors. Alas, I have 2 fines (£200) on appeal and I am presently awaiting the outcome. No plans to visit again - why would I?
