Another amazing evening at the Gateway. We were excited to try Sam's Taste of the Far East and it didn't disappoint in fact it was probably our favourite meal at the Gateway yet. The atmosphere was lovely and we felt spoilt throughout the evening. The flavours were fabulous and the presentation was another 6 star. If you haven't been then you should get on the mailing list and book for there next pop up.

We spotted the sign for this on the drive through, so after visiting the castle, walked back to find it. So glad we did. We had the platter to share, not a single thing could be faulted. Service was excellent. We loved the look of the cakes but were just so full, so purchased 2 to take home for later that day. Really sad I forgot to leave a tip, too busy chatting to the staff & looking around so much to see, even a gin distillery. We will be back.

Amazing experience. I host some of these chefs in my house each year and always wanted to try it. Food was incredible and so cheap considering the quality you are getting. They’re all learning but service was pretty good. They could do with some music in there and we had a strong draft from the fire escape but apart from that was fantastic experience and will definitely be back

"Twill be a hard way to hit" so says Gobbo in Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice and similarly you may find the approach to Comyn Farm equally adventurous. Road works may have made our journey a little more tortuous too. We were there for a Mother's Day luncheon and clearly the venue is popular as we had to accept a second sitting at 3.00pm. No matter since British Summer Time had just clicked in and our body-clocks were an hour out anyway. Doggies are welcome at the venue and they seemed unphased by our large, boisterous German Shepherd teenager. We were welcomed in a friendly manner, sat down promptly, given a drink and read the menu. There's an reasonable choice of starters, roasted mains included beef, pork and chicken and homemade sweets for those able to manage one! There's certainly no skimping on portions and if you feel the need for more of anything - the staff are very obliging. The team clearly get on well together and this comes over in the informal, but entirely adequate level of service. It was a nice sunny day which helped our visit and we were able to sit out at a picnic table in the adjoining paddock to finish off with wine, teas and coffees. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at the Farm and came away replete and very relaxed.

Absolutely fantastic fine dining restaurant, all of the food is well thought out. This was the second time visiting and wasn't disappointed, having a wife who's picky what she eats, not knowing the menu suits us both as we've never been disappointed. The decor and atmosphere is really nice, all of the staff are great and the wine pairings are really thoughtful and makes such a difference to the meal. I can't recommend this restaurant enough, a must go to if visiting for a weekend.

One of our favourite local cafes. We love to walk over from Jennycliff and stop for a coffee and sometimes lunch. The food is always amazing and the staff are always super friendly and welcoming - even when rushed off their feet. Pleasing vegan options. Great to sit outside when the weather is nice but also lovely in the winter inside.

Lovely cafe with really hearty, delicious main meals. Good coffee as well. Very friendly staff and quick service. It’s also dog friendly, which is a plus!

The best breakfast in Bournemouth! The food is always 10/10, everything that I have tried on the menu has been amazing with my favourite being the big breakfast. The staff are always very welcoming and even though the cafe can sometimes be busy (normally on a Saturday), you will never wait long for your meal . Couldn’t recommend enough!
