Daisy's Cafe in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

A micro - mini cafe with a big personality. Daisy’s is perfect for couples or groups of 1-4. There are 4 tables I believe, so it’s certainly not a place where you can always guarantee a seat. But it is worth a wait. The service is not ‘fast food’ but again, it’s delicious and worth a very short wait. The hostess was a ray of sunshine both times we visited. She’s very friendly and amenable, with great local knowledge. The decor has a 60s vibe and the scones really are shaped like a daisy. (There are also pretty big and very fresh.) I literally had nothing bad to say about our visits, we will 100% be back again.

Slightly off the main high street, but well worth seeking out; run by a nice couple who take pride in what they serve, with lovely ingredients.

We had the most yummy sandwiches from here today. Gorgeous bread, plenty of filling freshly made. It is off the beaten track - slightly up the hill but well worth the trip up!

Fantastic! Popped in today for a Daisy Scone and a pot of tea. Lovely big fresh scones with plenty of yummy jam and cream. The owner is lovely and welcoming and the 60's decor is very groovy! Will be back for a breakfast soon!

Our second year visiting Looe and we couldn't wait to have Breakfast here again. It didn't disappoint. Lovely food, freshly cooked and a lovely lady owner. 100% recommended 👌🏼

Fantastic little place, superb home cooked breakfast and great service.

Passed by whilst enjoying the coast path in Looe. Very welcoming reception at the door and encouraged to enter by the warm welcome. The premises is very small, but the atmosphere was only beaten by the food and the excellent value for money. Had a lovley BLT, whilst my partner had a toasted tea cake, both of which were excellent and enjoyed with a good cup of coffee. All of the other food served whilst we were there looked excellent with good-sized portions. The cream teas looked particularly good. Dog friendly too!

Was recommended this cafe a few years ago from the best campsite in looe (looe country park) and it did not disappoint. Have come to daisy's a few times every year since The foods always amazing and your treated so nice and always remember us from previous years. Looking forward to see you next year

Visited for the first time today with our rather large but well behaved Newfoundland! This was welcomed and she was tiptoed around without any complaints. We had the veggie breakfast with proper doorstep toast, absolutely awesome!! ( Millie says thanks for her sausage) Just wish we found Daisy’s earlier. Thanks to all 👍

What a wonderful little café daisies is! Slightly off of fore street Up the road opposite the salutation inn and you will find this quaint, cosy and extremely welcoming café. Such a lovely welcome as you enter through the stable door, perfectly cosy and quaint with service which goes above and beyond! A cup of tea or coffee with a slice of cake or maybe even a tasty for breakfast or you require it will be able to get it here, but served by a lovely husband and wife who make sure that your experience is of the highest standards. Don’t Miss going in here for a beverage and a treat, you will not be disappointed. around Looe we will definitely be back, thank you for such a wonderful experience, from wonderful hosts.

Lovely cafe just a short walk from the busy street. On the Coastal Walk path so a brilliant spot. Had a breakfast which was first class. Lovely owners. Highly recommended. 👍

An absolutely fantastic place to eat - the daisy shaped scones are large, fluffy, and delicious and the sandwiches are proper 'doorsteps'. Ever so slightly off of the High Street but all the better for that and well worth the 30 second walk up the hill!

Visited on a busy bank holiday Monday but our experience couldn't have been better. Our breakfasts were cooked to perfection - every bit of it was delicious - from the eggs to tomatoes and SO lovely to have 'proper' toast. Sam was beautiful - so welcoming and kind, especially to our little dog 'Heti' (the naughty Teddy bear dog!) We do wish you were in Falmouth but only so we could visit more frequently - but will certainly be popping in each time we are in Looe - Heti will make sure of that!

Visited Looe today with our two dogs and stumbled upon this hidden gem!!! The best breakfast and coffee in a lovely quirky welcoming little place. The staff are just amazing. Our dogs were treated like royalty and we will hurry back when next in the area. Beautifully cooked breakfast and doorstop fresh bread. Thank you so much.

Stopped here for the most delicious cream teas we have tasted anywhere in Cornwall (and we have had lots) the owners are the most wonderful people and really made us all (including our Frenchies) feel very welcome. The scones are without doubt a must.

Amazing sandwiches! Thick, doorstop bread filled with delicious fillings. Sam and her husband were very friendly, lots of chatting and joking. A lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

My partner and I visited on Saturday - he highly recommends the bacon sandwich with stilton, and I had the best scone of my life! Sam and Geoff are genuinely lovely and I think this really creates a warm and chilled atmosphere. A lovely little cafe which truly stood out as one of the best cafe experiences I have ever had. Would 100% recommend :))))

Perfect little cafe, not easy to find if you do not know it's there. Staff are more than friendly, the food is great. Did think it was a little expensive, but then the food came out, and what you get was fantastic and well worth the price.

Very good breakfast. Possible from 10 a.m. But you have to be there at 9:55 a.m. to get a table. At 10:01 all tables were occupied. The food is great. Classic English breakfast. Plus Belgian waffles🎉 The scones are very good, the service is great.

Such a fantastic cafe, the warmness and friendliness of the owner was exceptional. 100% the best Cornish cream tea I've had, I can't recommend this place enough, just check the opening times as we almost missed out and arrived just before closing time.

It was a rainy day but perfect for a spot of breakfast with friends. We chose this as it had great reviews. The staff were delightful and very friendly in this cosy little place. The food was really tasty and very good portions. I would definitely go again and take our dog as it’s also pup friendly!

A lovely welcome in this cafe today hidden up a side street but worth the walk to find it Breakfast was delicious .Dusty was made a fuss of and patiently waited for Sam to bring him a sausage .

What a lovely café this is. Sam is an absolute delight and Geoff cooks the most delicious food. I had read the fantastic reviews before visiting Looe so was determined to visit. The wonderful reviews do not lie. Beautiful pot of cornish tea and oat milk available too which is always a bonus.

What a fab place! Just by the coastal path and a great place to rest and chill. No WiFi or mobile signal so everyone chats! Food, service and people are all great. Will be back! Thank you for filling my water bottle too.

Not leaving reviews very often but the lady was exceptionally nice and we've really enjoyed english breakfast. Very good quality and value for money. Great cosy place.It's a shame I live far away as I would be visiting this place regularly.

What an absolute gem of a place. As soon as I sat down I thought “this has to be the same cafe in the semi autobiographical novel “The Salt Path” and indeed it is. Brilliant scones the size of a saucer, with the thickest cream, and jam. Don’t stop there - fruit, ginger, and white chocolate scones feature. My first and only Cornwall scone - nothing will beat Daisies. PS the Staff are kind, generous and wonderful.

Lovely full English breakfast and scrambled egg on toast. Would highly recommend, and dog was very much welcomed.

A simple menu hides the fact that the food here is sensational. All the classics are done to a level of perfection that you wonder why everywhere can't be like this.

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast here with my son today. I ordered the vegan breakfast and when they realised they had no vegan spread they went to the shops to get some. Very attentive service and delicious food in a very cosy setting.

This was the third time we have eaten at Daisys cafe. Whenever we visit Looe, we make sure we have lunch there. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was tasty and very good value. Jess (our dog) was given two little pots of sausages, a lovely touch, which she gobbled up. We highly recommend.

My husband, myself and our Lurcher Jess, have been to Daisy’s a couple of times, whilst on holiday. I can honestly say, there has always been a very warm welcome and atmosphere. Jess got a couple of bowls of treats (chopped up sausages). How lovely. The food is a very good portion and presented, so very reasonably priced.

Best breakfast we've had for a long time. The ingredients were lovely. Friendly atmosphere. I would give it 10 all day long. We will definitely be back.

Lovely little cafe just off the main drag in Looe. Well worth finding for the great breakfast and lovely bacon and sausage sandwich. Even a sausage for our dog as we arrived. The owners are so welcoming , fantastic atmosphere, everyone chatting together, will definitely be back.

Tiny place and (deliberately) a bit out of the way but run with charm. I had a light “That’ll Do” breakfast which was perfect. Definitely one to visit again. The toast slices are doorsteps and worth seeing!

Great cafe but very small. Had a superb clotted cream and jam homemade scone. Quite substantial!! Hearty welcome from very dog friendly hosts. The local tea brew was pretty good as well.

Such a lovely little cafe and the welcome was so friendly. We had delicious home made scones, jam and cream and some of us had the tea cakes which were equally yummy. Would highly recommend seeking out this little cafe tucked away a short walk from the main shops - definitely worth visiting. p.s The dogs loved the complimentary sausages!!

We ate at Daisy’s Cafe today and absolutely LOVED IT! The food was delicious -we had the vegetarian breakfast and a scone!! The atmosphere was impeccable and the staff had some of the friendliness and most accommodating hospitality we’ve come across in ages -we’d come back just to see and speak to the lovely lady who served us! :)) Would definitely recommend (we recommend the scones too) xx 🫶🏼☺️🤎

My partner found this gem online with an overall rating of 5*. On that basis, I assumed only a handful of people could've reviewed it (friends ands family), but to my astonishment I saw that it had over 1,000 reviews and it STILL had a 5* rating!! And it's easy to see why - from the warmest "Come in my lovelies" welcome as we stood on the threshold, to the lovely fruit scones, jam and cream (plus a little taster of the ginger scone and lemon curd - sooo tasty). The couple who own the business were so friendly and it was obvious they put their hearts and souls into this place. Then next time we are down in Looe, we'll make a beeline for Daisy's and work our way down the menu. Oh and the retro comic annuals are a joy to read and reminisce.

Such a friendly, welcoming cafe. Two visits and both thoroughly enjoyable. Bacon and sausage sandwich fabulous and the pastie superb. Watson, our dog, loved the welcome sausage too. Well worth finding this gem of a cafe.

We went here for a Cream tea on a recommendation from a local store clerk. It was delicious! One of the best things we ate on our trip to England. The service we received was excellent and friendly.

Very friendly staff. Simple food done really really well, which is sadly a rarity these days. Quite a find unfortunately we left it to the last day of the holiday to visit, so I won't make that mistake again. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Looe.

We arrived after a very long 6hr drive and were looking for a decent breakfast. We did a Google search and this little gem really did appeal to us and what an experience, loved the decor, loved the dog friendliness (not that we had ours with us) and as for the breakfast MAGICAL!! 10/10 Well priced, and worth more, lovely doorstep toast with breakfast. Even went back for another one on our leaving day. Looe is beautiful in itself but truly Daisys Is a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed!!

This is a hidden gem. Luckily we arrived between 09.00 and 09.30 so we could obtain a table. The breakfast and the service were both delightful...and we are 'sassy' about both aspects of a meal. Long may this continue! You deserve your high reputation!
