Great little bistro. We went on tapas night (Thursday). 6 tapas just right for two. Very friendly servers (all women). Will go again.

Great fish & chips! Duck liver pate and the coliflower bhaji were fantastic as well.

Had a lovely evening meal with an old school friend and two of my sons. Food was very good but what made it a fantastic evening was the wonderful welcoming service from the lovely staff. Outstanding

We were looking for a place to take my daughter who has just moved to Weston. The Ginger Pig Kitchen had good reviews so we thought we would give it a try. The restaurant exceeded our expectations! If I could have, I would have chosen any of the menu options. Each sounded really appetising. We chose to have two courses. Both were really good value and I must recommend the sticky toffee pudding; one of the best I've ever tried. The staff are relaxed and friendly and will make you feel so welcome. I definitely want to go back. I've heard their Sunday lunches are great, but very popular, so I would book in advance. Weston has a lot of pub style eating places but I don't think they are comparable to the excellent quality and reasonable cost that you will find at the Ginger Pig.

My Wife and I retuned to the Ginger Pig Kitchen for Sunday Lunch , As usual everything was excellent The food , Service and ambience were great .

Excellent food. I would have happily eaten every dish on the menu. The Sticky Toffee Pudding deserves a special mention as it was superb. All the staff were wonderful and the whole atmosphere was great. Thank you for a lovely lunch. I highly recommend the Ginger Pig Kitchen. Next time we are visiting Weston-super-Mare, we will be returning to eat here.

This was my first visit, they were fully booked, yet the staff, service, food and ale were excellent! The only thing wrong was my choice of NOT having the smashed peas. Not a fan of mushy peas, the waitress did her best to persuade me to have them, my partner did and they tasted great! (The customer isn’t always right)

Excellent food, the staff are very attentive and friendly, this is our go to restaurant whenever we are on holiday in Somerset.

What a little gem the Ginger Pig is! I was very impressed with the friendlyness of the staff. Service was great and quick. Food was outstanding, we had the Sunday menu, lovely starter followed by a delicious plated roast dinner (I had the pork which was so well cooked). Followed by a creme brulee for dessert. Definitely a place I will go back to to sample other menu items, so go and give it a try if you're in the area, but make sure to book in advance as they get very busy.

Honestly, the perfect dining out experience for a Sunday roast. I couldn't fault a thing. The staff, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere - all excellent. We each had a different roast, and they were all delicious. The vegetarian roast is 10/10 - really appreciated getting to have a "normal" veggie roast option instead of being given some random dish that doesn't go with everyone else's! The dessert - a perfect apple crumble for me. I wish I was eating it again right now. The staff were endlessly lovely and kind. Thank you so much, can't wait to return!!

We visited the restaurant today we both had a prawn cocktail starter, then we both had the pork with crackling roast potatoes & vegetables then we were both going to have the apple crumble but there was no way we would of been able to eat it.this restaurant was so nice we were served by two lovely ladies where nothing was to much trouble if you are in the surrounding area I would highly recommend this restaurant you need to book to get in excellent

My husband and I went here for our 49th wedding anniversary. From going through the door until coming out it was a great experience. The welcome from the staff, the food and the ambience was excellent. A truly brilliant restaurant.

Sunday lunch, booking is essential. Greeted and shown our table very quickly and offered drinks. Horseradish , apple sauce and water already on table. Roast sirloin , Pork loin and Nut roast ordered all came with stuffing and Yorkshires, veg selection separate from cauliflower cheese extra gravy also. All food and plates hot. All front of house staff excellent , a great dining experience. Check them out online or give them a call.

Love this place and the story behind it Hannah former hairdresser and Dave he lives for pigs a lovely couple made a decision 2019 just before COVID to open up a restaurant, Davids partner was ginger fabulous , what a quirky name all staff are amazing and friendly I definitely recommend see the pictures of my food , pre booking adviced . It was like going to your favourite Aunties for dinner amazing.

Visited today for Sunday roast after reading the reviews. It did not disappoint! I called very last minute yesterday, and despite them being fully booked they found me a table at the time I needed and were so awfully nice after I explained my personal circumstances. The food was delicious. Perfectly cooked. Fresh and tasty. We had the roast beef and roast pork followed by apple crumble and sticky toffee pudding. My only regret was I couldn’t finish it all. The restaurant had a lovely vibe, was tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. They have a 5* hygiene rating. The staff are just so lovely and friendly. There are several car parks nearby. We highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again as soon as possible.

Outstanding!... What an experience very friendly staff and our host Leslie was excellent making sure we looked after the entire time, The food was exceptionally amazing quality and all sourced locally including the drinks! This place really is 11/10, one of if not the best restaurant in Weston! And all of this at an incredibly reasonable price not needing to break the bank!

We had the best roast dinner I’ve eaten out for a long time in the The Ginger Pig Kitchen today Beautifully cooked and presented, lots lovely vegetables, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli and red cabbage and the pork crackling was perfect and cauliflower cheese delicious Stuffing home made and crispy gorgeous and huge Yorkshire pudding Excellent little individual pot of gravy Very friendly and courteous service and very reasonable price It was nice they did a vegan roast option or we couldn’t have gone, one of our part being vegan He said the nut roast was very good and particularly liked the cranberry sauce/gravy which he said topped it off perfectly It’s a very attractive place, with nice decor and very comfy seating, with plenty of room And they had Hullabaloos, my favourite non alcoholic drink 😻

I’m a few weeks late posting this, but we were visiting here from Swindon - admittedly, we usually go for a roast somewhere else but because their kitchen was closed, it opened us up to looking for somewhere new. As one of the group is coeliac, I had messaged about 9 different places and this was the first one to respond and on the same day. From the first point of contact, they were friendly, helpful and accommodating! They were able to adapt the roast to make gluten free. When we got there we were early - we popped our head round the door and asked if we could come in slightly earlier and, of course, it was not an issue! We were served by a magnificent team of ladies and our particular waitress was fantastic - so friendly, great with the kids, funny and nothing was too much trouble! On top of that, I observed as I watched them each go round to every table and chat to every customer. A couple turned up and had a guide dog with them and it was so lovely to see that nobody had an issue with it, in fact, the staff even fussed over the dog & sat and chatted with the couple. I didn’t get names, but the blonde lady who I think was in charge this day, came and chatted with us asked about us, where we were staying, what we had been up to and really made us feel very comfortable. The food… the roast was incredible. The meat was fantastically cooked, the veg was generous and I was honestly stuffed after eating mine. But with it tasting so good, I couldn’t resist ordering dessert! I ate every mouthful - it was that good! They even let me have both ice cream and custard with my dessert! But honestly, I nearly had to be rolled out of the restaurant! As well as this, I noticed they had a recipe for sangria on the wall behind the bar - I asked if it was available to order and they were more than happy to make it up for us! Honestly cannot recommend this place enough and when in Weston, we will return! Thank you to everyone who served us and made this such a fantastic experience!

We booked a table for lunch for six people with two toddlers (not every restaurant's dream!) The two ladies running the floor could not have been more helpful and welcoming, they were exceptional hosts, chatty without ever being intrusive. Phenomenal service. We had the three course lunch menu and some kids meals. Every dish was beautifully cooked and very tasty. The perfect lunch for us, can't recommend enough.

Absolutely superb! We had the three course lunch menu here today- the food was very tasty and the two/three course lunch menu is excellent value. Better than both of those was how wonderful the staff were with the two toddlers we had with us. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The staff were friendly, happy to have a laugh and joke with us, and attentive - we were never left waiting more than a few minutes. The atmosphere was great and so was the food. We had the pork belly bites to start, sausages with bubble & squeak and pork in cider pie mains, and cheese board and sticky toffee pudding desserts. It was all delicious 👌

Went in September last year. Fabulous experience. coming back to Weston from Oxford in March and a second visit here is a key part of our itinerary. i will be booking well in advance. Well we returned to Weston and made dining at The Ginger Pig a must. Four of us thorougly enjoyed the whole experience. Lesley is a great hostess. Lovely place for an evening meal or a weekend roast. Advisable to book. Chairs a bit firm to sit on if you do t get a cushioned one! Staff are great and food is always excellent.

Nice surprise considering you don’t always get what you bargain for when relying on Google reviews. Really nice Sunday Lunch. Deserved to be busier in there but apparently it’s popular in the evenings more so. The decor is nice and the owner very friendly. We were expecting a pub but it’s a converted shop!

Mother's day lunch was sensational. Three generations and we all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We had Fish and chips, Sausages and bubble and squeak, ham egg and chips and Risotto. All superb! The puddings were lovely too. Service was out of this world! After the year I've had, this years Mother's day event was everything I could have only hoped for a year ago after heart surgery. Thank You everyone! PS the Afternoon teas looked amazing!!

Booked a table after reading a Trip Advisor review, which proved to be accurate. Friendly service, excellent food and value for money. Would definitely visit again the next time I’m in Weston.

The service was great from walking in, to leaving. The atmosphere was great and comfortable. The food was enjoyable. The only slight gripe was that it would be even better if they served ‘real’ chips.

We had a family meal on their tapas night and, quite literally, ordered everything on the menu. There wasn't a single dish that I could say something bad about. Amazing food and great service. We'll definitely be back.

Dave and his team put on an excellent meal for 42 of us for my Mums 70th birthday. Throw in one fussy 94 year old Nan, 1 vegan, 2 vegetarians and 8 children that were all catered for! I emailed over the menu choices a few weeks before and when the food came out the wait staff delivered the food with ease to the right family members. All the food was delicious and my son said they were the best roast potatoes he’d ever had! I could have eaten the stuffing all over again! The sticky toffee pudding was light and yummy and I’m glad my daughter couldn’t finish it so that I could! A special pudding came out for my Mum too which was a really nice touch. We’re all looking forward to coming back again soon.

The reviews for here are the reason for booking. We booked 2 weeks in advance to get in for a Saturday night gastro experience! Although the menu is limited, there is something for almost everyone and the locally sourced food was delicious and well presented! If I could I would give this 6 out of 5, hence a 5. We will most certainly be returning to treat our taste buds again in this cosy restaurant which is deserving of a Michelin star, which they should get if they continue with their efforts. Lovely.

We had the two course set menu. We all thoroughly enjoyed both courses. The cauliflower bhaji was amazing. Only criticism by the three of us was that had chips was that they were over seasoned. Great value for money. Good drinks menu, very friendly staff. We will be back.

Amazing food, we had the French onion soup, pork belly and sea bass. Can not fault any of it, quality food, beautifully cooked and prepared. The staff were brilliant and made us feel very welcome. It is our go to restaurant he never we visit Weston Super Mare.

Myself and my wife made a reservation for lunch at the Ginger Pig for Sunday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our welcome at the door, we enjoyed our fabulous roast pork with plenty of fresh vegetables and cauliflower cheese and the tasty extra gravy. I had a local beer which was from a local microbrewery in Weston which was a lovely drink to have with my lunch and my wife had a nice glass of Rosé. We had plenty of good food on our plates and the price represented good value for money. We both shared an Eton Mess desert as we were pretty full up on just the main course. The staff were all very attentive and happy to have a little chat. The place was full and casual diners were unfortunately turned away as the tables were all booked up. If you are visiting Weston or are residents here, I'd recommend the Ginger Pig.

After googling best restaurants in the area, we booked a table at short notice for Sunday roast. It was easy to find, a few streets off the beachfront. A gem of a find if you like delicious food, nicely presented. The staff were very helpful and the front of house manager very attentive and professional.

Absolutely incredible! Pricey but so so worth it! Staff are lovely and kept checking in with us. Food looks small in portion but i promise it is larger than it looks. Pork was amazing and so was the bubble and squeak. Will be coming again for sure.

What an amazing find! This restaurant offers tremendous value for money, serving delicious homemade food using quality ingredients. The staff were all friendly and helpful but a special mention goes to Lesley who was the most welcoming, happy and patient front of house person I have ever come across. What an ambassador for the business! I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough for an excellent dining experience.

First visit; well impressed with the quality of food and service. Choose the festive 3 course menu - French Onion soup, ham egg & chips followed by sticky toffee pudding, each course was really enjoyable and well presented. Definitely a return visit. Great value too.

My family and I visited the Ginger Pig Kitchen Today for Lunch , The food was of excellent quality, tasty and well presented , The service was warm and very efficient This is an excellent local Restaurant that servers great food Totally recommended.

What a great little place, excellent costumer service, friendly staff and lovely cooked food, the opening times are a bit confusing because we were there at least an hour after they were supposed to be closed but would recommend a visit if you like pork although they do vegetarian food not sure about vegan.

We ate from the Christmas menu and we couldn’t fault the food. Very nicely presented and tasty. Lovely atmosphere too and friendly staff. We will definitely return to experience their other menu soon!
