I love this place. I regularly visit and the food is great. Good quality, tasty, freshly cooked. Today I visited with a friend and we both had the chorizo and bacon hash. It was delicious as always. Thanks

Some of the best eggs Benedict I have ever had. They had run out of ham so I had bacon and it was delicious. Lovely staff that work there. Great setting. We just couldn’t fathom why it was so quiet on a Saturday morning. If this was in the vale of Glamorgan the people would be lining up to get in!. Only downside was the coffee which was a bit weak we both felt. Delicious hash too.

An interesting venue with a menu that’s a bit different than the standard cafe. I thought the prices were a little on the high side, and being of reduced mobility, the long hike to the toilet was difficult.

Popped in for breakfast as it was convenient but was COMPLETELY WOWED by the quality of the food (recommend the Chorizo hash, the sausages and the pancakes) and the service. Would definitely come out of our way to visit again!

We needed somewhere convenient for a breakfast on the last day of our holidays and when we visited Silvers we were devastated that we hadn’t found it sooner! Delicious breakfast (I’d recommend the Chorizo Hash and pancakes) and really good coffee, plus service was excellent and the location was great with good parking and guard Guinea Fowl!

Stopped for breakfast as staying nearby and was recommended by our hosts. What a breakfast, my husband had potato bacon onion chorizo and poached eggs. I had poached eggs on granary - both were stunning. Eggs poached to perfection and big portions. We were served by two lovely ladies who discussed our plan for the day. Outdoor seating area for dog owners and a little mini farm with chickens, goats and ducks. Lovely experience. Quite busy would book if visiting.

The Silver Pantry is the perfect place to get some breakfast. My friends and I are visiting the area for a little getaway and we stumbled upon this place for breakfast. We were immediately welcomed by Julie who is the sweetest lady who guided us to our table and was extremely attentive. I wanted to swap out some of the things in my order and she was so happy to do that for me. She was very kind really helpful bring us water when we needed a top up and just really warm service. The food was excellent with great portion size and delicious tasting. The anexe was super cute and the perfect atmosphere for our morning breakfast's. There was also a really cute dog dotted around so very nice. Thank you Julie you deserve the world and the Silver Pantry thanks for our breakfast 🫶

After seeing good reviews, my husband and I thought we'd try Silver's Pantry for breakfast. We booked a table online and it was ready for us when we arrived. My husband had the Full English and I had the Hash (altered for regular sausage instead of chorizo) They were accommodating and food was fresh and delicious. Best breakfast we've had in some time! Would definitely visit again.

We simply love coming here. The food is excellent and the staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The only time the service was a little on the slow side (due to them being very busy) they insisted on offering us free drinks despite us not even raising any complaint. Places like this are worth their weight in gold.

Great for lunch or brunch, all food is freshly cooked on the premises, you can watch if you like. Good choice on the menu from something light to a bit more substantial.

Good service to start off sadly this wasn’t the case as lunch progressed . Poor service , bland food and an indifferent attitude when told the food was tasteless and we hadn’t enjoyed the meal .

I've been to Silver's Pantry many times, both under the previous owners and the current ones. The last two visits have been a bit disappointing - on my last visit our drinks order was forgotten (the order didn't print at the till so the staff forgot us altogether until I pointed out we were still waiting), and previous to that, my food order was wrong. The food is good, so I've given a rating of 4 but the service, whilst very friendly, only deserved a 3. Unfortunately service appears to be impacted when they're busy which is a shame.

Have been going to silvers pantry for years and years as one of our local eateries. Have only been a few times since it was taken over. I opted for pancakes as I never choose a sweet option and they were delicious, great value for money. My friend had the eggs benedict, which is usually my go to choice. Her eggs were slightly over cooked (as were mine the last time I ordered) so this would be my only critisim. Coffee is lovely and the service is great. Will return again of course.

Booked breakfast at Silvers enroute to an event after reading the reviews. We sat undercover outside with our 2 dogs, who were made very welcome. Staff were attentive and prompt with taking our order. Excellent Silvers Full English. Quality bacon, sausage and eggs were appreciated, and a granola bowl. We left very full and happy. Definitely recommend. Thank you

Overall disappointed.. had to wait a long time between getting drinks and food arriving. One of the meals was asked to be served a certain way for medical reasons. Possibly didn't hear request properly.. but when changed to a piece of toast,, was forgotten and so cancelled order. Was going to stay for another drink and cake but as still hadn't got toast,,which shouldn't have been so difficult ! Didn't bother. Won't be returning.. also gluten free toast was a bit stale, considering they had said on a previous visit their gluten free was the best. Staff who served us was polite . Unfortunately overall experience not enjoyable. Very noisy,, maybe ambient music could help lower loudness

A real foodies paradise. The chef knows his onions! Always a pleasure to eat here and the specials board never fails to delight. Don’t miss the hash. Worth a drive out to find it book as it gets popular.

I so desperately wanted to be able to write a rave review of this place. Previous photos and reviews looked amazing but I was sadly underwhelmed. A freezing cold day and the fire isn't lit, the food is good but not wonderful and the staff are mmmmmmm. Maybe we just went on a not great day but . . . .

I don’t get to eat here very often due to normally being very busy on Saturdays. The food is a Very high standard, and always good service. Well priced. Good country breakfast. 5* every time, but didn’t realised they’ve built an “annex” . Which to be fair they did call to confirm that I would be sitting there. Described over the phone as 4 walls and a roof,…..truthfully was more like a shed with 3.5 walls with a polycarb roof. It’s was cold being 23rd of December and the wall heater was broken. So bit of a shame that when you book you could be outside. Personally I say do away with it until summer or have a separate booking category. Very nice otherwise. I was just jealous of people inside 😂

Our table was next to a wood burner, which provides a magical atmosphere. We had delicious homemade soup followed by turkey and cranberry baps 🫢😋 It's well worth a visit.

We've been to Silvers today to celebrate a birthday. The place is lovely, warm and welcoming. The service was excellent, the food was amazing and a lovely atmosphere. There's a little shop there selling some lovely art and little bits and bobs. Would definitely recommend.

Have been to Silvers pantry numerous times over the years. However, having not been for a while since it was taken over. It was a disappointment; as soon as you walk in we asked if we had a booked a table and we hadn’t (the place had 4 people in there at noon), she then stated that we needed to book and was given the cold shoulder. We were eventually welcomed to a seat. The specials on the food board used to be very innovative but sadly lack any inspiration. I hope the next time we go, there is a warmer welcome and perhaps better options on the specials as it used to be.

I visited for an early lunch with my toddler and partner during the week. Upon arrival I felt as if my custom wasn’t welcomed, because I hadn’t ‘booked’. I was told I should book next time, despite 90% of the tables being empty and not reserved. I felt the approach wasn’t the warm and inviting experience I was hoping for. Having always loved the service and food at silvers Pantry I was a touch underwhelmed by our visit.

Whilst the food is great, the service on arrival really let's this place down. You feel like you're causing a problem if you haven't booked (even if no one is sat down inside!) and therefore just turning up for a coffee doesn't feel very relaxed. Compared to other local cafes, the vibe isn't as welcoming which is a real shame.

Got there late lady who served us really nice and fitted us in, food was delicious I had a full breakfast and everything on it was delicious and cooked to perfection not the cheapest but we'll worth it we were coming home from a week break in fowey Cornwall to Manchester and going off reviews stopped here, glad we did. A bit hard to find but worth it for this hidden gem.

We used to go to Silvers Pantry when we worked on the building sites in the local area about 10 yrs ago! After recently picking up a new job locally I took one of my lads in there for some breakfast. I cant believe I left it this long to go back, fantastic breakfast has to now be my go to place when Im in the area..... Fantastic ingredients, so fresh. Im looking forward to going back to work just so I can pop in again... Top drawer!

Food was nice, lots of egg dishes on menu & not alot else. Service slow, but assume cos everything cooked to order. No definate childrens menu, so no real choice for 2yr old who doesnt eat eggs

This place is awesome!! If I could give 10 stars I would. I have been to a few places during my holiday and this is hands down the best for food!! I had the eggs avo and my brother had the Hash special. We took some cakes away to enjoy at the cricket. The service was really good too.

Just had a perfect breakfast with my family. Food excellent all freshly cooked and in my humble opinion the best in a 10 mile radius. Staff excellent too, all engaging and attentive to all my families needs. This is a must visit place in Taunton Deane for breakfast. Ensure you try it out. We will definitely be back.

I'd only ever heard good things about silvers pantry so I built up high expectations, which it definitely exceeded! I booked a table for lunch with Mum. We ordered the most delicious homemade frittatas with a super fresh & creative salad. Portions were epic as well. We also took a slice of the carrot cake and chocolate brownie home. Mum described the carrot cake as the BEST she had ever eaten. For Mum to make this claim, it is a huge deal 😂😍 The cafe is set on a working farm with the cutest little clothing boutique for you to browse before lunch. Definitely book a table as it's a popular spot.

What a find! Silver’s Pantry is a must visit for the best all day brunch. We popped in on the off chance while driving through Taunton and were met with a wonderful cafe. Despite it being full, the incredible staff found us a heated (covered) outdoor table until a table became free indoors! Best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had and the full English was utterly delightful!

Best breakfast in a long time! Perfect poached eggs, wilted spinach, tasty tomato, granary bread, homemade veggie sausage, hummus and avo smash. Well worth making a reservation.

Popped in this morning for breakfast! They could not have been more accommodating especially as we hadn’t reserved a table and it was busy. Lovely well cooked breakfast with fresh ingredients. We sat outside in a heated covered area which was perfect for an autumn morning. Would recommend!
