The best restaurants serving British food in Reigate and Banstead South East

Having fully researched the area for our overnight stay to connecting flights this is my honest review: Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely softly spoken gentleman who showed us to our room and explained WiFi, separate bathroom facilities and check out procedures. We then had dinner in the establishment which was amazing, hot and fresh! Really please with our meal and the attentiveness of the staff! For the price this is a decent overnight stay for our flight. Highly recommended and will use again!

I'm new to the area and this was my first time here and I have to say that it did not disappoint. The greeting was very warm and friendly and the food was very tasty. The chips were crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. The portion sizes are more than generous. This is now my goto F & C shop and I will be visiting regularly. Can't rate this highly enough so if your in the mood for mouth watering F & C at reasonable prices give them a visit.

We had a wonderful tasty evening meal in the Reigate Manor lounge. It was made especially good by Daniel’s attentive service!!

Quite pricey although after having the taste of the dishes that explains, you are spoilt by a Michelin star Chefs menu! So succulent and tender cooked meat that rarely you can find at any other BBQ restaurants around Horley. Only thing missing from their tasty menu is that the Chef's special chili sauce or meze (homemade).? There is no other alternative chili dish at the menu either, like Ezme? it is a vegetarian medium hot meze to which goes well with BBQ dishes. We felt so lucky to be service by best quality Turkish BBQ Kebab restaurant. Thank you to Duke of Cambridge Hotel management for having a Turkish BBQ Kebab. Keep up the good quality service. Such a great spot to get off the high street. Grab lunch, breakfast, coffee and home made cake (and ice cream).I love that it’s owner run and not a chain or an investment business. Sit and eat and let your kids have fun, or enjoy the sounds of the other kids living it up! Dogs are welcome too. (Even big old Dalmatians !)

service was not up to scratch even by pub standards, the food was truly awful. Burgers were dry and had a peculiar taste, not even edible really, very dissapointing.

Late lunch at the Rez No pretensions to be a gastro pub just a good, big menu with traditional food Great beef and ale pie with lots of gravy washed down by a real IPA Will go again, it’s on our doorstep

me and my boyfriend went for a meal it was very good until half way though my burger i found a long black hair ( neither of us have black hair) i told the waitor and he was very apologetic. they then redid my burger. however when my new burger arrived it was very burnt and rock solid. the waitor came over to check my new burger was okay and i informed him about the burnt burger and again he was very apologetic. we got offered free deserts but where too full ( i had eaten half the original burger and most of the burnt burger) so they gave us the two cocktails i had for free however still charged us for the burger. service was lovely and they where all very apoplectic and polite. i appreciate this can somtimes happen but really does put you off the food.

Popped in with friends when out for a run. Nicely decorated with friendly staff. Enjoyed our couple of pints there.

Last night I had my first taste of the Northern Soul/ Motown night at the Corzo Lounge in Reigate. Loved the mix of music. Mostly Northern soul tunes I hadn’t heard - & Glen proved a font of knowledge about them. Loved too the movie running across the back - glorious dance moves and movers - some being those Glen has meant on his soul travels. Something very inclusive and upbeat about the evening - great to see so many dancing & enjoying themselves. Thanks Glen - I can see why you’re a popular feature here. PS - music aside, I can recommend the Korean burger!. Thanks too to the lovely staff - it’s a while since I’ve been back in Reigate & felt warmly welcomed…

Myself and my husband eat out often as it is one of our favourite things to do and this place is by far one of the best. Not only is the food always amazing but so are all of the staff. Karl is an absolute credit, lovely and always accommodating.

We booked The Sportsman for a family birthday lunch in between Christmas and the New Year. Despite us being a group of 12 and the pub being very busy, Lisa and her team couldn’t have been more helpful in making sure that the party went well. The pub itself is warm and cosy and in a great location for a pre pub walk. I would definitely recommend The Sportsman to anyone looking for a perfect country pub.
