Went last week, 3 out of 4 meals were fine, mine was vile; chicken was cooked to within an inch of its life and the coating was like concrete. The place was virtually empty but two tables were filthy and so was the floor with food debris, kids building blocks and dirty napkins. Friendly staff but that’s not enough to make me want to return.

Food was very tasty. The lounges are my new fave place to eat because of the gluten free & vegan options, its affordability and the quaint decor. Service didn’t really come with a smile here though and was a bit of a wait for food

Popped in for an afternoon drink. Service was good and staff polite. Restaurant was clean and tidy. However, recently I’m having to use the disabled toilets when I’m out and about due to needing the bars, and was pleasantly surprised to see it was clean, not smelly in this restaurant. Nappy bin was empty. I’m finding when I go out disabled toilets are dirty and smelly. Nappy change bins over flowing. It was not the case in here, they were clean, smelt fresh. I complemented the manager when I was there. She said they regularly check the toilets and aware they check the disabled Regularly due to happy changing in there. Well done e staff, I know it sounds weird but it was a pleasant experience to use your toilets. Big thumbs up on behalf of disabled users. Thank you.

Great atmosphere and setting. The food was nice but I thought the portion sizes especially on the chips were on the small side especially when spending £15 on a burger and fries.

Went for a very late brunch food was delicious service was great very relaxed had a nice meal would highly recommend 👌

I've been a few times to Posadero lounge and really enjoy it. The food and drinks are always good and the staff are always helpful and friendly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the expected tipping at the time of placing an order. Tips are generally given for good service so I somewhat object to paying extra for a service until I've actually recieved said service; it would be ideal if people could order to their table and get billed at the end so they can tip appropriately otherwise the staff are being done out of potential tips if people don't want to tip at the time of ordering but there's no way to tip after you've ordered and eaten, for those of us not carrying cash around.

The portions are small for the cost. Interior has a nice atmosphere.

If I could give a zero I would. Went in there last night while down visiting friends and ordered the lounge burger. It was cooked on the outside but far from cooked on the inside. It was practically still mooing. Both plates got sent back and we got a refund but the staff were far from concerned about it. The place itself was colourful bright however the staff and good quality is poor.

Amazing food & selection but the lattes??? Haven’t tasted one so good in ages 😍😍😍 I’ll be stopping by very often to pick up honeycomb lattes from here!!!

Yesterday morning, I went to drink coffee outside, on the terrace. The tables were not wiped, they had marks on them, the spoon that was given to me had food residue on it. There was chocolate all over the cup and the handle of the cup. Absolutely disgusting I left the coffee and left

Came here on numerous occasions either on work events or with my wife. Always a very nice experience, tasty foods and great service. Overall one of the best places in Redhill.

I went to the lounge for brunch on Sunday 23rd June with friends and family - altogether there was 13 of us so we booked ahead - when we arrived the table was ready and waiting for us with ice cold jugs of water on the table - the food was great but what made it extra special was the staff all of the staff were really friendly and could not do enough for us. I would like to specifically call out, Jody, Jess and Jessie

Hi thank you so much for helping my friend when he had the medical emergency during the Disney quiz dinner. The waiting staff were very kind and stayed with my friend until the ambulance arrived. Also thank you for catering for my allergies.

My partner and I came here for dinner. We’d not been before however the staff explained how it all worked. Food wait was 35 mins so we purchased bar snacks - could be more options or mix them up a bit as they were very dry. Food came out incomplete so had to enquire to get it sorted - no questions asked and sorted quickly. It was tasty and my partner enjoyed his too. Overall it was fine. No check ins from the staff to make sure everything was ok. I wouldn’t necessarily dine here again but the atmosphere was good so for drinks 👍🏻

We went in for coffee and cake greeted by a pleasant server who showed us the table. The decor is pleasantly quirky with a good atmosphere . Carrot cake and toasted teacake and cappuccino were spot on. A good place to relax .

Superb atmosphere, reasonably priced food and drinks. We've experienced underwhelming service a last time: one item in the mobile ordered wasn't delivered even after 30 mins, so asked and told will be delivered, after another 20 minutes it still wasn't delivered when asked was told it was put on hold, so had to cancel that item.

We booked this to celebrate my Daughter's 18th birthday meal. The food was excellent and faultless. We had a lovely meal and the two staff members on shift made her birthday special with a little shot on the house which was really sweet and very much appreciated. This was my husbands and I's second visit and each time the food was wonderful but it's the service which makes this place stand out. The staff genuinely care and it really shows. Thank you both

Posadero Lounge in Redhill is absolutely lovely. Great team, kind service and quick and delicious delivery. I often stop by here and especially enjoy when Mr Brendy is on shift in the kitchen. His plates never fail! 5 stars

Went by for the quiz run by Jody which was very fun albeit challenging. Good atmosphere. Would recommend for people wanting a pub quiz that raises money for charity-.

Appears to be under new management since our last visit. The whole venue is visibly cleaner. Staff were professional, friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Great evening. Good tapas choices.

We recently had dinner here before going to the light. We ordered our food at the bar as my partner has an allergy and therefore we had some questions about ingredients. The manager serving us (name was “atilla” on our receipt) was rolling his eyes at each question before shouting to the kitchen for answers. We already felt like an inconvenience to him. I eventually ordered a “beyond meat” burger, which when I bit into it, the patty was ice cold. Entirely uncooked and not even slightly heated up! I let the waitress know, she even had a feel of the patty and was embarrassed and a replacement was ordered. This second burger frustratingly came out exactly the same - ice cold uncooked patty! I went to the manager and asked for a refund of the burger, to which he again rolled his eyes. I got my refund but as I was walking away from the bar, he was laughing at me and acting like we were being ridiculous! All we were after was a straightforward burger with no allergens?! Very very disappointed by this visit, and will be contacting the lounge owners to highlight how much this branch is letting down their reputation.

Shame to say but we haven’t been served afer about 15min I went to the bar to order and waited over 20min for my coffee (thats in not busy time). After checking with the bar staff where is my coffee, turned out it’s been sitting there on the edge of the bar deck. It was my first and definitely last time at Posadero Lounge.

A good find Staff, even though they were very busy, very friendly and helpful. Advised up front of a delay, but food was quicker. Food was very good and they have a good awareness of allergens. Reasonable price in comparison with other restaurants

Stopped off here for dinner after bowling at the Light. Nice selection of food on the menu and it wasn't too busy Monday night. The staff were very helpful and we were well looked after. The service was quick and the food nice 👍

I really want this place to work and stay in Redhill…. BUT, there are still things that need addressing. Slow on the drinks and food. It’s been slow since the place opened and it’s not improving. I live the lounges and Redhill needs this place and I’m not being mean I just want to be honest. Positives: The gluten free options are a massive bonus plus dog friendly. It’s comfy, cosy and the decor is cool. The staff are lovely. Negatives: slow on the service and for me as a gluten free intolerant person, the gluten free rolls/bread are just not nice. Dare I mention Bills the competition do have this right with the gluten free sourdough bread and I really wish that the lounges could improve this. The reason is that those rolls blow my delicate digestive system out and I dread eating it. Please look into a better alternative. Redhill needs this place so keep up the good work!

Overall, the ambiance of the place was very pleasant, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and family time. While the food was enjoyable, there were limited vegetarian options available. Nonetheless, it provided a satisfactory experience for a family outing.

Nice place for any time of the day. Seems like a place where you don’t really need a reservation to be sure you have a place where to sit as it’s very spacious. Interesting design and picture platings with tasty food that has been quickly served. The quality I usually recommend!

What a wonderful place to eat, drink, meet friends. Right in thd middle of town, we called in for a bite you eat at lunchtime. Staff so friendly and efficient. Decided to return for dinner. I had the best Chicken and avocado salad and partner had the brisket chilli, with a bottle of the house white. Good choice on the menu. Wish we lived nearer

Busy but staff were clear about timings, the food was good, nice and easy with children as there are toys, high chairs, colouring and the staff are helpful. Plus space for buggies.

Read some pos and neg reviews of this place. I have to say my experience was totally great. Fantastic friendly welcome, prompt and friendly service and the food presentation was lovely, as were the flavours. It far exceeds its price point. Dan and his team were happy to point out their own favourites for my next visit. Will return for sure.

What an absolutely fantastic place! The decor is great, very unique and interesting. The minute you walk in you feel welcome and the vegan burger was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot!! Lou, the waitress, couldn’t have been more helpful and Dan, the barman, created a new non-alcoholic cocktail for me and my friend which was just delicious! He’s also a very entertaining juggler! Genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and the same goes for Lou. They definitely deserve a pay rise! I can highly recommend the salted caramel sundae for dessert 😍 I only wish I lived in Redhill so I could go more often. It’s good for friends, families, couples and pretty much any other combination of get-togethers you can think of. Looking forward to my next visit!

Great food. Good value. Service could have been a bit quicker but overall it was a lovely evening. The tapas was fantastic and the was plenty of food for the 6 of us. Will definitely go again

Shortage of staff caused a number of issues mistakes with the orders missing and food not coming out at the same time. Atmosphere was good and friendly. Would visit again

On previous visitz been already had one to many on other stablishments Friends however do prefer to keep coming back for more and rightly so

OMG Food is bad/ low quality... any sandwich better than there burgers, french fries is horrible..., Squid was burned, soaked in oil, disgusting. Kids menu, pancake tastes is 100% rising agent. That was a 2nd time we had a lunch there, never again Seriously guys it's a very low quality restaurant

Another excellent branch of the Lounge chain and welcome addition to Redhill. I love the variety of options on the menu here - I had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup while my partner had a lounge breakfast. Both were very well received. Even in the lead up to Christmas service was fast and the staff were friendly. Will definitely be visiting again in the new year.

Be very careful eating here. Husband was violently ill after eating a chicken burger here and the rest of the party were not well either. Looking at reviews this seems to be a theme. Would never go back.

Overall the experience was pretty average but main reason for the negative review is suspected food poisoning which made me very ill. My food seemed like it had been reheated and others in the party had their food arriving lukewarm / cold and didn't feel well afterwards either.

FoH staffs were great, very accomodating service 5* Very disappointing food though Brisket chilli was warm on the outside and room temp in the middle Cheese were half way melted Portion size was very small considering paying almost £14 for this, didn't even fill half the depth of the plate, very very small portion size, only had 4 tablespoons of meat in it and thats it The rice was even more disappointing, it tasted very old, had onion skin that was not removed, half cooked, very dry, overseasoned and left a salty/sour after taste There was only around 12 people in the restaurant and not busy at the time. Food came in within 10 mins, I'd rather they took longer and produced a better quality food

It's a great place in Redhill to pop into. Selection of beer is limited but there are a couple to choose from. The food is pretty decent, the tapas selections are quite nice, the whipped feta and honey is especially fun.

I get no pleasure from doing this but here goes.... A few weeks ago I visited this place for lunch with friends. I have an allergy which I informed them of. When the food came it was obvious from the first bite the allergen was present. The waiter came over and asked how our food was and I let him know. He told me the mix they used for that part of the meal did not have the ingredient I had told him I had a problem with and walked off. The manager came over a few moments later to take our plates away and saw I hadn't eaten much. I explained again. To give him his due, he came back ten minutes later, apologised and refunded the cost of the food. Fast forward to last night, we planned to eat at the cinema next door but the music was too loud. In desperation we went to Posadero. The order went in and our drinks arrived. After 30 minutes we were still waiting. My husbsnd went to ask where our food was and was told the order hadn't reached the kitchen. They issued a refund of both food and drinks but oud night was ruined. Nachos and fruit pastilles all round watching the film. Go elsewhere. This place needs serious intervention to make it a success. What a shame.

Very very small portions. Waitress waited until I arrived to collect my takeaway to open each and every one of the 7 boxes to check the contents letting all the hot out so food was cold by the time I got home. However the restaurant itself looks really nice and the atmosphere seemed great.

Delicious food and good service. Looks absolutely amazing on the inside and great bar food. I personally have not noticed the mess in places but food and take a little while to arrive. Drinks did arrive quick though.

Having tried thus restaurant when it first opened this year and finding service extremely slow. I though this tine they would have improved. I Took my son's advice to buy drinks at the bar due to a service being slow. I used the app to order food. The app asked how much service charge we wanted to give! After 30 mins wait was told it would be 10 to 15 mins. Then after 45 mins we were offered a free drink. We wanted food! It finally arrive one hour after ordering. Yes it was busy but telling us, as if it was normal that the waiting time was 45 mins is unacceptable.

Second visit for lunch. The restaurant had a lovely buzz to it. We ordered a selection of Tapas dishes. All really tasty . The service was really good and the staff are profesional and friendly. A great addition to Redhill. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely place. Have been there for dinner in many ocasions with a big group and also with my family. Food can take a bit long to arrive but otherwise no issue at all. Plenty of choices on the menu that can agree with everyone. You can order on the counter or via QR code. Staff is nice and tries their best. Great addition to Redhill.

Went on a Monday and there was no food. Didn't warn us let us settle at the table and when I went to order food, no burgers. Went a second time and literally almost the whole menu was not available. Would have appreciate it to be warned or told as we walked in.

Horrific experience - food poisoning for all the family. Went with the family including two children 4 and 1 respectively, and the next day all had strong food poisoning. This is despite all having different dishes. The 4 year old in particular experienced heavy vomiting for much of the day. I contacted the restaurant but it was cleat they were only worried about covering themselves and didn't follow-up after writing. Considering kids dishes for two young children so sick should have been a big concern but clearly management weren't concerned. Having been shut down and only to reopen to have terrible kitchen hygiene yet again should be a huge red flag.

UPDATE October 2023: after seeing the hygiene rating was raised I decided to give this place another go with two friends. It was certainly cleaner but my friend's meal came without a poached egg, all the poached eggs were hard boiled and the muffins weren't particularly toasted. Could have done better at home! One to avoid sadly. ORIGINAL: The food was good and enjoyable. But the service was really slow, we sat there for 40 minutes without our food and drinks. Eventually the food arrived but our drinks were forgotten and we had to chase them. They came quite soon after and were honestly the strangest milkshakes I had seen/tasted. It was like... A watershake? It had solid icecubes in it and was chocolate flavoured water. Was really strange. Not sure I'll be going back any time soon.

Horrendous experience, 8pm on a Saturday night: no prosecco, no fries or red wine. Ordered the lamb curry and what arrived seemed like a micro-portion that tasted worse than a cheap microwave meal for £15. Also put off by the fact that twice, the kitchen staff passed through the restaurant with a shopping trolley full of rubbish like some homeless person, didn't quite add to the atmosphere! All in all, terrible experience and will never be going back there. The only thing that salvaged the situation was that the staff were nice and happy to refund the food.

Child friendly. Inside and outside areas. Lovely staff. We were served quickly (order at the bar). Parking in Redhill car parks. Wheelchair accessible. Garlic flatbread was delicious. The portion of chips is really small though. Worth going to.

Typical good Lounge food - we had pancakes - great coffee and such amazing staff. We always come here if we happen to be in Redhill. Love it! 👍

We went there as the menu looked exciting. Staff at the bar and staff who served us were nice and friendly. Food is ok too. we sat at the door as no one was finding us a table and it was cold yesterday. This woman who worked there opened the door and I got someone to close the because we couldn’t sit there otherwise. She comes and loudly asks who closed that door and I said we got someone close the door because we were cold. She shakes her head and sighs and walks away. I never understand why we should get treated that way in a restaurant where we go, pay to enjoy a meal. She was friendly with some other customers. Just to mention we are brown people. Not going there again to get badly treated because we are a different colour.

Always been decent food but this occasion it was terrible food seems as if standards are slipping as time goes on, our food was sat on the service hatch for 20 minutes food was luke warm at best and all dried out. There was about 5 tables during our visit so it wasn’t like the staff were rushed tables sat with dirty plates and glasses yet staff are just laughing and joking rather than working. The chef rang the food bell about 6 times before anyone collected our food because the staff were having a meeting at the bar rather than serving customers. The table next to us sent food back and didn’t receive any fresh food and had to ask at the bar for it by that time they were leaving they were offered a refund but no apology.

First time we've visited. A lovely friendly atmosphere and great food

I went to the lounge to get some food with my friends as i’ve never been to this place before but it looks really nice from the outside. I ordered the bombay chicken burger with fries and a lemonade, in my opinion it was disgusting. The service was awful and my food sat by the kitchen for over 10 minutes waiting to be taken but no one came as the staff were sat around a table on the other side of the lounge. The burger was dry and literally tasted like a musty curtain. The prices are extortion for food and service that do not match the restaurant standard they are pricing them at. The environment is so nice and pretty, but i’m incredibly disappointed.

Let's be honest, I was dubious after the health rating they received, but I gave benefit of the doubt knowing they are a new establishment with teething issues. However, I played it safe with the chilli, it was served with rice on the side, it was ok, tasted like a micro meal was packed with A LOT of ingredients, felt like I was eating a lot of "stuff". My partner had a bacon cheeseburger and said it was OK. My daughter joined us for dessert, and she had the churros, and they were AWFUL! Every bite was just a mouthful of oil. They were saturated, which wasn't pleasant. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the decor is lovely. It's a shame it was so quiet on a Friday night. We will be back because it's what Redhill has needed, and I'd like to try the tapas next time!
