Kings Head in Reigate and Banstead

Absolutly stunning Sunday lunch. Food was cooked to perfection, and my cauli-cheese was the best yet. Thank you to Ryan and his team for such a lovely way to start our Sunday afternoon. Hope to see you all again soon to sample more on the menu. 🤗

My husband and I looked for somewhere that was dog friendly and could accommodate a nut allergy and was half way between us and my cousin and this pub was perfect. We met there today and were all very impressed. A good size car park - you need to enter your reg plate opposite the bar to park for free. The toilets were absolutely spotless. The tables were not crowded on top of one another. The waiting staff were helpful and friendly and we didn’t feel rushed. The food was delicious. We’d definitely meet up there again as the food and venue were great and the bill was incredibly reasonable. Soft drinks and 3 courses for most of the four of us and the bill was just over £100.

It would be nice if had two open fires or two wood stove to make it cosy and warm if it was very cold

A lovely Sunday roast with unlimited yorkshires! Kids meals good too. Drinks were slow to be poured and some parts of the order forgotten.

A short visit only to have a light lunch with a friend. Great seating area outside. Great lunch and good value for money....very tasty scampi with chips. Friend had veggie sandwich which also came with chips.

Probably the best pub in the small town of horley. Lovely staff. A special mention regarding George behind the bar. Lovely guy, friendly and makes you feel welcome. Highly recommended

We found this pub by accident really as we were waiting to get a flight the following morning. The food was good. The service better. We were served by a young man called George. What a friendly guy. Good British hospitality from what we get in the U.S Would recommend

I used to use the kings head regularly and used to be a very nice place. Went there yesterday for dinner. when the food arrived we were very disappointed it was cold the carrots and potatoes were undercooked and were supposed to be unlimited we only had three on the plates and had to ask for more and then we only got four between us. We had desert and when the desert turned up someone thought it would be a good idea to stick a tiny bottle of Baileys upside down in it, I personally don't like Bailey's I know it's only small bottle but for people who don't drink and for those who are driving I don't think it was a good idea. Sorry but I will not be returning to the king's head anytime soon.

I came with my girlfriend for the first time and we were both shocked at how good the food tasted. The staff were lovely and we were served by Darcy who was very welcoming and assisted with all our allergies. Will totally be coming again

Had a lovely couple of meals here and also love coming for a drink to chill out as wonderful and very friendly staff. The red headed bar member Helena is especially friendly and funny, she always remembers my name and has a joke with me.

Great place for real ales with knowledgeable and friendly bar staff (in particular Darcey). My friends don't drink ale but found the lager selection more than respectable.

I'd go here for a drink but never again for food. Starters of calamari and prawn greasy and overcooked. Steak was overcooked and had to be sent back. "Garlic bread" was basically garlic cheese on toast. Sausage and mash was more like sausage and gravy...

Lovely pub with lovely food, thought I had found the perfect local and then I received a parking fine of £60. For parking in pub car park. Did not see any signs or told by pub about parking. You've just lost another customer as per the other comments im not the first and won't be the last if the landlord carries on like this.

Poor. Food surprisingly poor which is unusual. Service was shocking. Finished plated left on the table for nearly an hour, not busy at all just preoccupied talking between themselves

A nice friendly pub with great layout, very spacious and well presented. I come here for lunch quite often, and the food appears to have gone down hill recently. It seems rushed and undercooked and not worth the high prices charged.

Worst service, come here often. Miserable faces on the staff. Food late coming and not usually good standard. Ordered cocktails and came with miserably dressing. Surely you can do better!

Always come here for lunch . Although the food was lovely as always there are several points that let our visit down . The prices have escalated and no lunch menu any more . I certainly wouldn’t pay £15 for a burger that used to be£8.50. Flowers on the table were dead . All the Christmas poinsettias were gasping for water as had been placed above the radiator. No real customer service such a shame used to be such a lovely pub with great food at a reasonable price

There was no heating, all the flowers on the tables were dead. The food was good, but they ran out of some dishes. The vent above our table was filthy. The poor girl serving tried to fix the heating. Not her fault as no one got back to her when she tried to get someone in to fix it.

This is the best pub in not just Horley, maybe the world. I can’t recommend this pub enough the food is outstanding and so are the staff. Absolutely amazing pub garden and I am loving the new summer cocktails. Not rough at all absolutely 10 10. Have been again can’t recommend enough. Still and absolute smash

We love this place and come regularly. The welcome is always warm and they have an excellent chef and the food is always great. The sea bass this weekend was truly spectacular: cooked beautiful accompaniment with giant crushed new potatoes and a pesto creamy sauce. The sauces in this dish is amazing. Service was exceptional as always, cant recommend enough. Visited again best pub in Horley. All great Sunday roasts

Been here a few time and what a splendid pub it is I must say. One of the barmen Joe I think his name was, was very good! Give this man a raise!

Although I found the food satisfactory I fet the service let the place down. I ordered my food and at no point did the staff ask me if everything was okay. In fact after I paid for my food the server gave me no interaction whatsoever. This place definitely has no idea of customer interaction.

Food was dire for a pub... chicken sandwich was burnt so sent back and still burnt on return. Fish finger sandwich was literally one bite of fish in the whole sandwich, daylight robbery.

Ordered hunters chicken it was as dry , nobody asked if it was ok during or after , foul mouthed yobs at the bar were not asked to tone it down one was snorting coke in the toilets I can not recommend it

We ate outside as we had a dog with us. I noticed later that dog treats were available at the bar. We ordered on the App which worked well and food arrived very promptly. Very tasty

First time I came to this pub. I (thought I had) booked for afternoon tea, but when we arrived we found that the pub no longer offered it. No matter, we ordered cups of tea instead, which came as individual pots, and three desserts. These were chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, sticky toffee pudding with custard, and apple crumble with custard. All were excellent. The pub itself has a nice ambience and gardens. The bill (including a nice tip) was £25. All in all a great experience. Will definitely come back.

Looking for a pub while I stay at Gatwick found this place while prices (for a Amstel) is like London prices its worth it cozy pub and friendly staff would definitely come here again next time I have to stay at the airport

Fab garden, be wary if you order on the app they may not see them best to order at the bar, just as quick.

I was told about this nice Pub by some locals, and it didn't disappoint—unique selections of ciders and beers and a good atmosphere. The staff were helpful. We have been to Horely 3 years in a row as a stopover for a day and this will be a place to visit again for sure. We didn't try the food so I cannot comment
