The Mill House Beefeater Grill in Reigate and Banstead

I would like to thank the team of Yasmin, Freya, Zoe and especially Ellie at the Beefeater Mill House Salfords. Ellie is extremely helpful and kind she made our experience very enjoyable. It is a lovely pub and the staff team are all very welcoming and helpful.This is the nicest pub I have ever been in, in my life. Thank you so much to the team for their kindness and generosity. The food is incredibly delicious. It was the best meal I would ever wish to have in a pub. I would recommend this pub to everyone who stays at the Premier Inn and to the locals.

I have a great experience at the beefeater mill house every time I eat here and that’s at least once a month if not more, food is great value for money but the best part about the beefeater mill house is Jackie one of the lovely waitresses, she’s always our server and she always goes above and beyond with the service and always puts a smile on our faces, would 100 percent recommend to anyone!

Went for lunch today , brilliant food !! We had the most amazing service from Jackie. The Ribeye was the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

My wife and I went for a Easter Sunday Lunch I ordered roast Lamb and beef I got one slice of beef and a few pieces of lamb they covered the plate in veg and potatoes to hide what little meat I got not very happy we've never been for Sunday lunch before and we won't go on a Sunday again not very impressed

Great food. Atmosphere and hostess.

I haven't been in for a long time since moving from the area. But today went in and so pleased I did. Started with our hostess Jackie who was so welcoming and friendly. The hot chocolate was delicious and hot. The Haddock and chips cooked to perfection the way I like them. Well done to the chef. The othe meal was chicken wings, ribs, and chicken breast withe skinny fries . Both enjoyed. And to spoil my waistline (hmm lol) the creme egg sundae was just delicious beyond words. In-between Jackie entertained us and the people at the next table were hilarious. Best atmosphere and service and experience. Well done to the people who run it for a well run restaurant.

Service was slow! food below their usual standard! Then we're asked to drink up & leave by 10pm restaurant & pub was closing on a Friday night ? ..... I'm afraid if we want an evening out we will not be returning....a very disappointing night out !

Food was OK, but not much of it on the plate, it probably wouldn't put me off going back, the other issue at our time of visit it was very cold and wet outside and the heating was off inside, so it was a bit uncomfortable eating with a thick winter coat on!

We came for breakfast at 10:20. We ordered cooked breakfast which was very nice, I have to say. But when we asked if we could order more, at 10:55, we were told the kitchen was already closed for breakfast. Breakfast is supposed to be until 11am. We're very disappointed we couldn't order more cooked breakfast.

It was not a great start. Heating was not working and it was freezing. But not being bothered to go elsewhere stuck it out in coats. The serving staff were amazing trying to keep up with demand, but should not have been left in such a position in the first place My steak was very good. Tender and tasty. Chip could be counted easily with 10 fingers. On the whole the food was very good. There is always a discount somewhere too. Would have stayed for a nightcap, but too breddy cold

Stayed in the Premier Inn next door so came in for our evening meal . Dissappointed had the halomi burger halomi was cut extremely thinly, the skinny fries where just about warm. No table check to ask if all was OK. We wanted to eat later but where told no tables ,even though the tables around us where still empty at the time we originally wanted .

Nice Sunday meal. Very friendly staff a nice experience. Booked online all good. If wanting disabled friendly space just note on request when booking. Car park can be snug and a walk

Nice place, nice food but nothing to rave about

Our visit started with a lovely welcome from Ellie on the front desk. Took us to our tables and ordered our drinks , made us all feel so relaxed from the beginning. Our drinks arrived in minutes even though it was really busy . They were delivered by a lovely smiley friendly Jess . The whole evening was wonderful, Jack our waiter was friendly and efficient and the food was fabulous, every single dish from the starters to our delicious well cooked steaks . Would have loved a dessert but could just not manage it . The whole evening was a lovely experience, well done Mill house staff .

First time here.very welcoming place bit noisy children's party going on but excellent service and the food was good.not rushed to leave and good value for money.

Good choice and well priced. Food was delicious and catered for All. Convenient setting mid way between Redhill and Gatwick. Our waitress Jackie was fantastic. Service with a smile. Perfect service. It was my Mother's 80th birthday and she even bought an ice cream with candle for us to sing to her. When i booked online i requested a specific table and when we were given a different table it was explained quickly why our requested table was not available. We were able to use the 25% off food voucher i had been sent with ease thanks to Jackie.

Whilst the service was good, the restaurant looked very old and tired and need of renovation. The ribs were very dry and flavour wasn't great. Won't be returning

Visited the millhouse beefeater on Valentine’s Day. Just like to say how accommodating Vitor was in helping our night out be special. Our waiter Jack was also great and knowledgeable because we are very fussy eaters. Thanks team millhouse! Same again next year!

All just pretty average and not worth the increasing price. Used to be ok for an evening off from cooking but at £80 to £90 for 3 people, it has got too expensive

Ordered a steak and burger which were absolutely delicious. We had an amazing host called Jackie. Definitely going again and would recommend.

Fantastic service and brilliant food!

I came with the hopes low but was pleasantly surprised! Ccctail was enough alcoholic, foid portions were satisfactory and tasted good and service (the wonderful Jackie) was top notch! Will be coming again!

Me and my friend attended lunch today with our 2 little ones. We were served by Jackie. She was amazing, she went above and beyond for us today, never forgetting side plates for the toddlers sharing, little teaspoons for them to eat with etc. Stopped and had a chat and was there for every need. Never had to wait for nothing. Absolutely amazing few hours. Really helped us, nothing was a fuss. Thankyou!!!! Will be returning again soon.

A pleasant surprise as I didn't have high expectations. But an excellent gluten free menu and my husband's steak was just how he liked it. Breakfast was also good with a table service and all freshly cooked.

Today the 4th February 2024 I took my wife for a Sunday lunch at the Mill House Redhill, as I work in Salfords I often pass so thought lets book up. We where shown too our table and our waitress was called Jackie, she was very helpful and took our drink order, then she gave us time to look over the menu with such a great selection it was hard to choose, she then came back and took our food order. The food arrived promptly and piping hot. Nothing was too much trouble Jackie kept checking in on us to see if there was anything else we needed. The food was excellent in fact we had no room for desert Jackie suggested coffee which again was excellent choice. We would like to give Jackie a 10/10 for her excellent waitressing skills, personality and efficiency. We most certainly will be visiting again. Brian Lambert

I decided to give the Beefeater a try considering it was a stone's throw away from the Premier inn where i was staying for nearby work. My overall bill came to just over £26. I opted for the 'Beefeater 74 Combo' and a large coke, having not eaten anything all day. Where do i start? It was around 20:45, waited to be seated at the desk and was abruptly told 'come to the bar' said i'd like to order some food, was told to take a seat anywhere and when decided come to the bar and order. The "Double crunch chicken wings" where dry and clearly deep-fried from frozen, the grilled "seasoned chicken breast" was again clearly frozen, dry as old boots - no seasoning to be seen. The BBQ Glazed pork ribs, there was no glaze on my ribs and these tasted like they had been oven cooked from frozen. The chips i was served where only what i can describe as overcooked, hard oven chips. The two pieces of corn on the cob had no butter on them and where stone cold. After a hard day's work i needed a 'beefy' meal, i could cook better food at home which is saying something! I was so worn out from work and the attitude of the staff by overhearing them talk and complain about how busy it was and they weren't even this busy on the weekend i couldn't be bothered to complain, ate the frozen dry chicken and poorly cooked oven chips and walked out. If management would like to discuss this further please feel free to leave an email address as i have proof of purchase on my bank statement. The last time i visited a beefeater was when i was around 10 years old, that experience adds up to what i had just been served! No idea how people can eat this stuff - Mcdonalds is fresher!

The service from Jackie was 1st class unfortunately the quality of the food didn't match it.

This was all about the service. Meal was as one would expect. No surprises or disappointment. But it would be remiss of me to highlight the excellent service by our waitress, who was attentive, quick to respond, and made suggestions on options with our meal, with a smile! 5 stars for her.

All food in our party of seven was perfectly cooked. The waiter was attentive but not overly so.

Love this place. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff are always lovely and cheerful (they go above and beyond). Food is always delicious and prices incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend a visit. Perfect for all ages and occasion type.

We had Sunday lunch here which was perfect in every way , prompt friendly service , good menu , excellent food . The lamb was tender , 5 vegetables and all the trimmings but no room for dessert . We got the quiet table we had requested , congratulations to the chef and all the staff , looking forward to next visit asap. P.S Off the main road south of Redhill , plenty of parking at the back and garden seating at the front .

Once again a great meal with excellent value using Beefeater voucher codes and reward points. We often eat at this restaurant and the staff are brilliant. On Sunday we were seved by Mae P and another male server. Both were friendly, courteous and efficient. Would recommend this restaurant to all.

Stayed at Premier Inn linked to Mill House. Good selection of wine and tried their breakfast the next day. Staff were friendly, and there was plenty of choice. The only negative was the soggy steaming gloopy black pudding. Never had anything like it before, not sure if it's boiled steamed or nuked, but it was just wrong. The poached eggs were perfect

Can I say staff out of this world, especially Jackie could not do enough for us, we felt like we was the only person she was serving even though it was so busy, she made my mum feel special as it was her birthday, 9 of us all food was great, thumbs-up for the roast.

Again a fabulous dinner, Jackie as always is attentive, happy and makes the whole dinner experience so lovely. Will be back.

We visited the meal house for a family birthday in a group of 9 and we had a lovely experience. The food was great, the atmosphere was good but our waitress Jackie made the experience superb! Her attention to detail on customer service is second to none, and for that alone The Mill House gets 5 stars. Thank you Jackie, you’re a credit to the company.

I stayed here during the week on business and ate at this restaurant. I was looked after by Sydonne and although she thought I was George Clarke I forgave her. What a star she is, so attentive and hardworking. Good to talk to and just a genuine and nice lady. Nothing was too much trouble and she would be an asset to any team. Food was good and exactly how I asked for it and the wine choices were on point. I will stay here again for sure.

Staff super friendly, food was wonderful. A little let down by the small children running and throwing toys around whilst we were trying to have a quiet family meal.

Changed my review from the last visit to this. Service was slow. Food was disappointing and no responsibility was taken, just fobbed off with saying their staff are fully trained. Very disappointing Festive Christmas tree pizza for kids. A cheese pizza cut into 4 and layered! Disappointing when children think they are getting something special.

We went to beefeater Salfords for a birthday 18 in total. Food was absolutely fantastic and would like to mention Jackie the service she gave us was unbelievable she was fantastic very jolly and so helpful.

We've just had a really lovely experience at The Mill House. It was my birthday family meal and there were 8 of us (6 adults and 2 children). The food was delicious but I really wanted to give a shout out to Sydonnie our waitress. She was AMAZING!!! So attentive, went over and above to ensure we all were happy with our menu choices, was extremely attentive and was great with the kids. She was so happy and welcoming. I was in a party of four for a late lunch. The total cost was just over £162. Unfortunately my meal which was priced at £16.49 was not up to scratch. It was a single minute burger with cheese and a small portion of luke warm chips. Served by the manageress with a cold. Which didn't please me as I'm starting chemotherapy in a few days. The meal was so tiny that I had to scroung a few ribs off my friends. Lastly we sat there with a table full of dirty dishes for almost an hour. All this while the manageress sat idlely by nursing her cold. Never again thank you ! Update ! A belly ache for three days afterwards.

Our server Jackie was lovely and helpful and full of festive cheer....food was basic pub food, but hot and tasty. This is our 2nd time there and it's a lovely quiet pub to have a catch up with friends.

There is a very friendly atmosphere which is mainly due to Jackie, a waitress who works very hard to make everyone feel as if they are a special customer

The food was good and the waiting staff excellent, very friendly and welcoming. However, there were a couple of issues that appeared to be caused by poor management - a drinks offer had not been communicated out to staff (£2.50 chaser with a pint) and an email offering 33% off food did not work properly on the tills. It took a long time for the staff to sort our bill out. The manager refused to come and help, even though they were on the premises, so the staff had to work it out to our satisfaction.

This restaurant is a great venue for meeting up for lunch with friends, ten of us had a great Xmas meal on 4th December, staff were very friendly and efficient, especially Jackie who always goes the extra mile for her customers!

We went to the mill house Redhill to day for there festive lunch although it was expensive over £90 for the three of us it was very nice the waitress Jackie looked after us as if we were the only customer i will be returning...

At our visit, we were well looked after by Jackie. Beer was good, food was all well cooked and presented and service was quick and efficient. Theres a good variety of food at very reasonable prices, including set menu deals. This isn’t fine dining and I’m sure much of it is pre-prepared and frozen but it’s unpretentious and we all enjoyed it. Once again, a shout-out to Jackie but clearly this is a place where the staff are all motivated and well known organised.

Popped in for lunch with a couple of friends and had a lovely time all thanks to waitress Jackie she was amazing, such a bubbly friendly lady and glad to see her back! Will definitely be back in again soon.

Went to the Mill house for Sunday lunch as we were advised that Beef and Lamb were back on the menu! Served by Jackie who is always attentive and cheeful. Food was good, we both had the lamb roast. Would go again.

We booked here in advance while staying at the hotel next door, the restaurant appeared to be very short staffed and was quite busy. We waited at the desk to be seated and a queue quickly built up behind us, we waited a long time...

Waitress Sydonnie very good, food was ok, had the half chicken, very succulent, skinny fries nice but could have been hotter, sweetcorn again nice but could have been hotter. Had tomato ketchup and a BBQ sauce, neither tasted as good as I would have expected.

Food is spot on. Not a huge choice, but enough. A lovely bar there too. The staff are motivated and very good. Food on the whole is pretty good, they have the Christmas menu running now too, all very good. Highly recommended.

Due to work, I regularly have to stop over and like to stay in a Premier Inn. The Mill House Beefeater is friendly with great staff, good value for money, and the Haddock and Chips were delicious 😋
