Miller & Carter in Reigate and Banstead

The food was absolutely amazing and delicious but I think what made the experience better was our waiter Reece, he was extremely kind and patient, he was always smiling when we saw him and at the end of the night he even engaged in little conversation with us as we were paying. It was very welcoming. 10/10 customer service

Super impressed having made a last minute decision to eat out to avoid any more Christmas food. It wasn’t busy when we arrived but within an hour it was full and there were queues at the door. We were served by Elli, she was clearly rushed off her feet but was very friendly and super efficient. We both ate the Dirty burgers, absolutely delicious but the winner was the beef dripping gravy … what a combo! We will be back that’s for sure.

Christmas day lunch was overpriced and poor quality. This is the third year we have been to this restaurant for Christmas lunch. In past years it has been very good but this year it was terrible. The waiting staff, whilst pleasant, did not seem to know what they were doing: we were brought food we did not order, and the wrong bottle of wine was presented. Fortunately this was noted before it was opened. The main course was cold when brought to the table. We were expecting slices of turkey, instead we were given a roll of turkey wrapped up in a small rasher of bacon. It was dry and inedible. The vegetables were undercooked and hard. Dessert was an apple tart. It was tough and difficult to cut let alone eat. It was accompanied by the smallest scoop of ice cream I have ever seen. The coffee was great!!! Won't be going again, ever.

Our waitress Donna has been absolutely incredible, our party had a nut allergy and gluten free dietaries, she explained everything we needed to know She was also so professional, friendly and really informative. Couldn’t recommend her enough

The service was timely. The food was excellent very rich. The desserts were sublime. The drinks menu was greet The only issue we had was the roast potatoes were burt for all five guests. great. The lamb this time excellent and the sticky toffee..yum

Manager was so rude to the point my daughter in law was in tears, the waitress was in tears, took over an hour to get a drink.Never experienced such bad service in all my life. Miller and carter need to rethink management. All the other tables complaining too.

We came here for something to eat and unwind after a stressful week. Donna who was serving us was superb. Attention to detail and made us feel valued as customers. It made us want to return . Excellent.

We had a lovely meal here with our elderly Mum. We were served by Jeanie who was delightful and took great care of us, especially those in our group who had food allergies. Jeanie also did the Christmas decorations around the restaurant and they looked lovely. Good selection of meals on the menu and really tasty.

Came here to celebrate my husbands birthday. Beatrix the waitress went out of her way to surprise him with a Birthday dessert. Meal was excellent cooked to perfection. We have been here a few times and enjoyed the experience every time.

I have to say having eaten a dew places i am.yet to find one that can provide the food I had the pleasure of tasting here! The chef knows not only how to cook a steak to perfection (believe me, I was gobsmacked), but the scallops were divine too. The whole meal was beautiful the service was good indeed and while the place seemed busy they always checked as they walked past, offered drinks etc. I will say that you pay for the quality here, but honestly, it was an amazing taste bud sensation, and I can not wait to revisit and sample even more of the menu. Absolutely hands down the best steak in Surrey and Sussex I have ever had.

We went there for our Christmas meal and our manager leaving Do,We were served by a lovely waitress she was very polite and also the Assistant Supervisor Carmen she was making sure everything was good.

The steak was very nice. However our table was filthy and the floor surrounding it was covered in remnants of previous meals. Scallops were burnt. The lettuce used on the lettuce wedge was brown and wilted. Our waitress thought it appropriate to make a snide comment that my wife was paying (it was my birthday). The restaurant itself is showing signs of damage with holes in the wall and damaged plaster. All in all not a great experience unfortunately

Great service for a large party. They were quick with drinks and all food came out hot and to order. Beatrix was a great waitress!

How on earth a steak place is unable to cook meet well done I'll never know. It went back and it still came out red. This is our second visit and although the service was very good the overall food quality was poor (and more so due to the price point)

Came on a Saturday night for my son’s birthday. It was lovely. Service from Jeanie was great ! Across the table we had chateau briand, sea bass and burgers, all were excellent. The restaurant was packed for a Saturday night mix of couples and families

Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Puddings were good too. Genie the server was very helpful, polite and courteous.

Came to celebrate our sons 18th and we were received with a welcoming atmosphere. Our table was also prepared to seat 18 people All the food and drinks were wonderful and everyone received their orders happily . Request for cake and celebration at the end off meal was amazing Thank you very much.

Food cooked as requested, with ingredients being fresh and appetizing. The staff and service was terrible, we had to order our food 3 time (THREE!!!!) simply because they kept looking our order and they were not capable of putting the order into the system. Staff were very impolite and rude with lack of support and did not know the menu. The manager was present, poorly dressed, behaving like a local chav, completely can not manage what was happening on his restaurant floor. I would strongly recommend against this location and go to many other locations of this chain, which are just so much better in all the aspects mentioned above.

Great Sunday platter for the Money, often disappoint by sharer platters but this was a good one. We were looked after brilliantly by Beatrix, she added to a lovely lunch.

Just dined at miller and carter salfords for partners birthday and was served by donna. Her service was exceptional! She was warm and natural, and went out of her way to make our meal special. The food was very nice, and i like being able to see the kitchen staff through the open serving window. You could see the cooks were on the ball. We live 10 mins away and will definatly be back!

I can’t remember the amount of times we have been to Miller & Carter (there have been many!), however, every time the food has been excellent and the service has been just as good to match. This time we had the pleasure of Jeanie as our waitress who was lovely and maintained fantastic service throughout. Will certainly be returning and would Deffinately recommend to anyone thinking of going here!

As always - great food and great service! Dropped in without a booking (sorry - last minute idea) but we were met with a very warm welcome. We come here as often as we can as we find the food is always consistent and to a very high standard (and yummy). The staff are all very attentive and you don’t have to wait for them to catch your eye! They know when you need them. We were very well looked after by a lady called Lorraine P who made the whole experience a delight. The friendly atmosphere and attention to detail shows teamwork/management is working well!! All the staff are very friendly and proof that customer service is alive and well in the Salfords Miller & Carter. Thanks for a great meal and for me not having to cook/burn my own dinner. Menager of the restaurant is doing amazing job ,well done 👍

1st time visiting a Milller and Carter restaurant and I was not disappointed. Food was amazing. I don't eat meat but was really happy with the Sea Bass I had. Our server was really nice and attentive without being " in your face". Works recommend. Price is worth it.

Great evening at Miller and Carter, the food was excellent but what really made it was the kind, friendly service. We were looked after by Nicky and she couldn’t have done enough to make us feel welcome and looked after.
