always pop in for a vegan pastry before work, find it difficult to find vegan croissants in town but grateful to have this lovely cafe serve them! always lovely staff, warm atmosphere and very welcoming

Je kan hier komen via een steegje . Er is ook een terras in dat steegje We hebben binnen gezeten om wat te lunchen en te drinken. We hebben genoten van een keuze uit sharing dingen met een frietje erbij. Het zag er leuk en gezellig uit. Bijzonder mooi om te zien dat ze ook een wat minder bedeelde mensen toelieten.

Cute little LGBT bar/pub. I found out about this place through TikTok and visited during my travels to the UK. I unfortunately came during the week when not many people were there but was still very welcoming.

Very friendly staff, excellent coffee (with lovely oat milk option), great gluten free brownies. A swap library for books and games! Airy, spacious room with a peaceful atmosphere. And when I was there (drum roll...) my carbon dioxide monitor registered 650ppm. For those not familiar with this, it means that the air quality is very good indeed. Up to 800ppm is excellent. For anyone who wants to avoid viral infections, or who just wants to breathe clean air, this is wonderful!

Difficult to know where to begin - a hub of effortless cool and unpretentious loveliness for so many years - host to great music and exhibitions - with a wonderful buzz and fab staff - and social hub for groups from armchair philosophy to scrabble. Will miss it hugely and only wish the landlord would rethink. Huge thanks and appreciation for many memorable times.

Friendly staff and a great choice of Titanic beers and guest beers. Really enjoyed our visit!

As you’d expect from the Ivy - food was tasty and service and venue was good, but definitely on the pricy side!

First things first. Service was good. The pie, so so. Maybe I was expecting too much from reading other people's reviews.

Well known hotel with comfortable bars and restaurants. Great service from concierge Samual aswell well as chef and service team in restaurant. The Oxford sauce, home made for ones grills chips etc is a classic.

A nice beer from a knowledgeable barman and some good food with excellent chips. It was quiet, but atmosphere is good with old sporting memorabilia on the walls and friendly staff.

Very quiet for a Friday night. The barman was pleasant enough. It’s just all a bit dull for me. You can’t really see the cartoons as the room is not particularly well lit. The cocktails were fine. We walked through the hotel to the other bar which was slightly better but at £9 for a glass of not cold enough Pinot Grigio in another badly lit room, we left feeling rather conned after they added a service charge as well. . For a large hotel the wine selection by glass is very limited.

Excellent food, good service, perfect for brunch! Had a sausage and bacon bap and a latte, greater with a friendly face at the door, very pleasant experience. Will definitely be back next time in Oxford!

Poor service. Noisy venue. Food mediocre. Bill had VAT and service added to advertised prices. Expensive even before that.

Would recommend mango tea and the jelly. The manager is super nice. Don’t forget to use the app for free drink
