Great pub in the centre of Oxford. Bar service was exceptional

It's a decent pub, friendly pleasant atmosphere with very good selection of draught beer and cider. The one thing I'd change is the very 'high' seating and the tables in the corner are too big to squeeze past comfortably. Minor thing for an otherwise perfect pub in a very central location.

This is the best pub in Oxford for beer, by quite a long way. As they don’t dilute their time by doing food, attention is given to keeping some wonderful ale. Loads of choice. Mainly Titanic and White Horse breweries, but a few others too. Staff consistently pleasant and friendly. Give it a try - beer drinkers won’t be disappointed!

A nice old-fashioned local style pub makes a change from the tourist offerings in the area. Interesting If you are a fan of Titanic beers.

Great place to go for real ale with a good selection of beers. CAMRA discount for CAMRA members means good value especially when there was a group of us having a joint round . Have been there before, but better with friends out for a beer trip, as that is the main focus of the pub.

Lovely staff, a proper pub. Plenty of seating with a great mixture of people and a great atmosphere. Next time we’re in Oxford we will be back

Loved the Grand reserve plum Porter, it was like Christmas in a glass. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

Didn't order food, but the beer was excellent, and really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Staff were friendly and helpful, great music. Would definitely recommend!

Pretty unfriendly if you have kids. Great pub otherwise, but the unfriendly treatment spoiled it for me. I understand why the management might prefer to have a kids-free pub, but there are nicer ways to communicate it, even conceding this might be a tenable position to have in 2023.

Grumpy barmaid who rolled her eyes when I asked for a pork pie, but beer was good and so was the atmosphere.

A friend had recommended The Royal Blenheim and after a very disappointing visit to the Lamb & Flag earlier that day we decided to try them out. I’m normally more of a craft beer drinker but I do like a well looked after cask beer and this place did not disappoint, a well poured pint great staff and a really nice atmosphere. Too top it off a few of my regulars and Ian from Beard of Destiny were in at the same time so we will be back. Keep up the good work.

A nice pub in the city centre but just far enough of the beaten path that it does not feel like a city pub. Good atmosphere, great service good choice of drinks a refreshing break from the normal city pub.

Excellent traditional pub just off the main shopping area in Oxford. Excellent selection of beers including titanic brewery. The staff are also very friendly.

Just wanted to have a proper cask ale in the rainy evening at proper British pub. I ordered plum porter ale which was pretty light taste IMO. The atmosphere is really cozy and the staff are friendly. Here's their latest menu.

An absolutely fantastic real ale pub serving at least ten real ales on tap, all from various areas. The beer was well kept, the service very good and the ambiance and atmosphere spot on. It was the CAMRA Pub Of The Year so comes with a quality guarantee.

Really nice pub, slightly off Oxford's very busy centre. Good selection of ales and very helpful staff, willing to help us figure out which we'd like better by trying some out. Nice atmosphere and relaxed music. Worth a shot if you're looking for something less crowded and noisy.

I didn’t have food here but did pop in for a quick pint during my Oxford walkabout. This has all the classic charm and appeal that you look for in a pub. Lovely English decor with great seating. A tv to watch football or racing or whatever May be on. Great pints of beer and ale to choose from along with the calm atmosphere to relax and char or read or whatever suits you. Enjoyed this place for a respite in my day and left energized and ready to crack on!

A small pub tucked away off the beaten track which had welcoming feel about the place. Plenty of real ales and craft beers to choose from. Landlord was very accommodating offering tasters. The beer was very good. If visiting Oxford again would go to this pub again.

Lovely pub off the main streets. Cask beer is very fresh and they have a plum porter which is worth the trip. Not sure why the keg beer can only be bought in 2 thirds. I found that a bit disappointing.

Never fails to deliver. Nine cask ales with a reduction on production of a CAMRA card. Friendly service. A visit to Oxford is not complete unless I call into the Blenheim. A proper local serving tip - top regional cask ale.

Very welcoming for wary travellers. And they allowed dogs which was wonderful as Evie is very much part of the family. Food and hot drinks would be awesome and the only thing it could improve on .

Not one I'd personally recommend to visitors to the city. Locals, or more specifically a small number, say it is their pub and the licensee happily backs that up. No food. Real ale is decent but you'll find just as good and a friendlier reception that isn't just looking at your money elsewhere in Oxford

If you want to drink cask ale in Oxford, this place is yer only man. Excellently kept and excellently chosen ales, and the prices aren't excessive. In fact most other cask places in Oxford serve worse-kept ale for higher prices 🤣

Not so welcoming. For anyone visiting from US or abroad, there are many excellent, friendly pubs in Oxford, so skip The Royal Blenheim and leave it to the locals. The one beer we drank there (as quickly as possible) was tasty, then we got the hell out and went elsewhere for an enjoyable time.

After a stressful few hours getting lost in a hectic city centre, we happened upon this place and had a quiet hours respite. Traditional English Pub in the quieter back streets of busy Oxford. Nice selection of beers/ales and has offers on the blackboard. Board games to use if desired. I enjoyed the decor but it was lacking in atmosphere (however, it was a quiet Tuesday afternoon with two other customers and the news on tv for company). The guy serving was efficient but I wouldn’t say he made effort to be welcoming.

Served me a cloudy pint, claimed it was meant to be ‘hazy’ which I am very dubious about. The staff responded in a manner that suggested they felt I was being fussy. Very disappointing.

If you want proper tasty beer in Oxford look no further...only came in for a Guiness which is not on the menu, however as a sub the 'Titanic' plum porter is superb the Mrs had Tiger (copper ale) which was well received. Knowledgeable staff, clean ......top pub....

Came in for a couple of drinks on a Saturday afternoon, they have a great selection of real ales and lagers, it's a busy, 'proper' pub that's smarter than most. Will be back.

Dropped in for a quick beer on the route back to the station (6pmish weekday). Nice latte. Quite noisy (couldn't chat across the table). I had to stand next to my son to hear him. Strange ladies loo situation. It's squashed into a triangle shape, where one cubicle is so small, you have to practically stand in the loo to shut the door. Dread to think what it's like when it's busy.
