Really nice atmosphere great food reasonable price

Went in for Sunday roast and it was pretty disappointing. Beef overdone and almost impossible to cut and equally difficult to swallow as it was so dry. Stuffing also really dry Hardly any gravy provided had to ask for another jug which still wasn't enough to lubricate the extremely dry food

Staff always so nice , not too expensive and service quick on food and drinks, especially for a Saturday night!😄

It's a shame that the staff doesn't come up with the solution that to accommodate 12 people, and just seems they where frustrated and annoying or something like that. Shame

Everything’s fine except the manager who is quite arrogant n repel customers if he’s not in the mood.. Been there a few times n had a good time except the time I had to interact with that manager..

All in all a Great restaurant and public house.

This is a classic English pub with everything you could ask for! They’ve got big screens everywhere, perfect for watching sports with friends. The service was quick and efficient, even when it was busy. There’s plenty of seating, so it never feels cramped, and the overall vibe is lively and welcoming. Whether you’re there for the game or just to relax with a drink, this pub nails it. Highly recommend for a great time! 🍻📺

Petite bar lady with dark hair and dark rimmed glasses was very pleasant, helpful and vibrant. Shame I can't say that about the manager as he saw me waiting to be served clearly behind a couple who were being served. I was resting on the bar with my card and purse ready. No one else there at the time. A male came to the other end of the bar and so the manager walked down to serve him! Food: not sure how they managed to burn microwave lasagna 🤔

Came in on Saturday for dinner and had a lovely time. Our server, Katie, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the evening, and the food was great, and very good value.

Food was very poor. Had a full English breakfast bacon was burnt beans were cold sausage was like chewing rubber. Also had a chicken new yorker chips were cold and the peas were so hard they could be used as bullets.

I have visited the White horse on a few occasions now and I can say that the service has been consistently good. I have tried a few different dishes including fish and chips, which may surprise a few 😆 and they have been good. This time around I had the sharer plate which I did enjoy. Wings, weren't to my taste completely, but I could eat them. The only thing that lets down the visits are the tables not being cleaned once customers have left. Other than that, a nice visit.

Very friendly staff, large order but all delivered promptly. A couple of missing items on a couple of the dishes but were quickly rectified when told. Had the Bangin’ Katsu Banquet which was tasty.

This a brilliant pub we had a fantastic time the staff were lovely all food lovely and fresh. Small free parking space lots of toilets 🚻 in there and a disabled ramp access around the back lovely family Christmas meal we definitely book again next year keep up the good work 👍

We did the breakfast with Santa . Firstly I think after doing same last year in a different pub there was a lot to live up to. Was a little disappointed as know games for kids we did hunt the reindeers last year was great . But must say breakfast was fantastic the children who are fussy ate loads as did we. Really fabulous value for money. The staff were lovely and friendly and Father Christmas did a grand job. Thank you

My husband and I both had the ‘Mix It Up’ Meal which we both said was very tasty. The only issue we do tend to have when eating at the White Horse is the food is never hot enough when it’s brought out to us. We both say that our meal would have been lovely if it had of been of a hotter temperature.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Burned food, overpriced, wait of 40 min in an empty restaurant. Avoid! There are much better places in Headington.

Service was kind but we received our order over 40 minutes after placing and paying for it on the app and after many tables that arrived after us. The award winning steak pie was burned on the inside and meat was so fatty that I had to leave some.

Poor today but normally good. The roast was only one piece of meat and hardly any mash. Cauliflour cheese was missing cheese.

Went here for a meal for the first time and got a £100. Parking ticket!
