Great cafe - tea , coffee and croissants were amazing - best ever

Je kan hier komen via een steegje . Er is ook een terras in dat steegje We hebben binnen gezeten om wat te lunchen en te drinken. We hebben genoten van een keuze uit sharing dingen met een frietje erbij. Het zag er leuk en gezellig uit. Bijzonder mooi om te zien dat ze ook een wat minder bedeelde mensen toelieten.

Cute little LGBT bar/pub. I found out about this place through TikTok and visited during my travels to the UK. I unfortunately came during the week when not many people were there but was still very welcoming.

Very friendly staff, excellent coffee (with lovely oat milk option), great gluten free brownies. A swap library for books and games! Airy, spacious room with a peaceful atmosphere. And when I was there (drum roll...) my carbon dioxide monitor registered 650ppm. For those not familiar with this, it means that the air quality is very good indeed. Up to 800ppm is excellent. For anyone who wants to avoid viral infections, or who just wants to breathe clean air, this is wonderful!

Difficult to know where to begin - a hub of effortless cool and unpretentious loveliness for so many years - host to great music and exhibitions - with a wonderful buzz and fab staff - and social hub for groups from armchair philosophy to scrabble. Will miss it hugely and only wish the landlord would rethink. Huge thanks and appreciation for many memorable times.

The staff were really nice and friendly. When I made several calls beforehand asking questions about the booking process for our Christmas meal, the person I was speaking to was really friendly and thorough in their explanation. The seating was nice and comfy although it wasn't exactly the best for our group to be divided on three floors (then it changed to 2 then back to 3). Food was lovely as well. Really lovely evening. Slightly bemused at being told from members of my group that there was a "Resident Crackhead" in the male toilets eating a sandwich.

Such friendly service! I enjoyed the Christingle seasonal pie with peas and mash. It was the perfect meal for a cold, drizzly day.

The room has zero noise isolation, horrible if you want to sleep at night. You can hear clearly people walking upstairs and in the hallway. The AC doesn't work at all, the room is freezing cold. That's not the worst. They have events with loud music till 11:45pm. Called front desk to complain they did nothing about this. The loud music, drums and crowd didn't stop till midnight.

Very quiet for a Friday night. The barman was pleasant enough. It’s just all a bit dull for me. You can’t really see the cartoons as the room is not particularly well lit. The cocktails were fine. We walked through the hotel to the other bar which was slightly better but at £9 for a glass of not cold enough Pinot Grigio in another badly lit room, we left feeling rather conned after they added a service charge as well. . For a large hotel the wine selection by glass is very limited.

Excellent food, good service, perfect for brunch! Had a sausage and bacon bap and a latte, greater with a friendly face at the door, very pleasant experience. Will definitely be back next time in Oxford!

No estoy seguro de si el servicio que recibimos fue debido a mi espeso acento galés, o el hecho de que pedimos la oferta de carne de noche y no del menú a la carta (solo porque soy un comedor increíblemente exigente) , pero nunca en mi vida he tenido un servicio tan pobre, pasó los reinos de espantoso y firmemente ofensivo personalmente. Soy muy consciente de que fuimos tratados como si fuéramos la pobre pariente, es inaceptable, es perjudicial cuando no hay base. Escuché a un camarero decir que solo tenían 20 mesas para toda la noche, así que ¿por qué nuestro entrante se olvidó 3 veces? ¿Por qué recibimos comidas tibias? ¿Es otra vez, porque no parecemos ricos, o una vez más el hecho de que pedí algo más barato? Repito que es por mis hábitos alimenticios, pero eso ni siquiera debería ser algo que tenga que justificar. Con todo lo que tengo de corazón, recibí mejor servicio en Wetherspoons, y eso es algo que nunca en mi vida esperé escribir. Solicité que se eliminara el cargo por servicio y soy una persona lo suficientemente educada como para decir que no quería ofender. Nadie se acercó a nosotros ni una sola vez para preguntarnos si estábamos contentos con nuestra comida, o si nos podían ayudar en algo. Creo que se alegraron de deshacerse de nosotros ya que sentían que habíamos derribado el lugar, pero todo lo que hice fue irme casi llorando. De hecho, ahora estoy llorando. Estoy dolido, y me pregunto ahora si así han sido tratadas personas no tan afortunadas como yo cada vez que han ido a comer a un lugar muy apreciado. Huelga decir que no volveremos, me alegro de que no reservamos para alojarnos en el hotel, no es que importe.
