This well-managed village pub is a true gem, boasting CAMRA approval and CaskMark certification. Parking is available in front (street parking) and a private rear car park, although access between properties may be slightly challenging. Easter lunch for myself, my wife and mother-in-law. Great service by Katie W who was just fantastic and really gets what top class service means. Food was good, but is pricey with lack of salad or even small amounts of garnish. Have started coming back to the Beams in the last 12 months as it has improved and drinks are not as expensive as the used to be (with the exception of wine). Still need to improve food consistency for the price.

Wish I could give 0, what are they playing at? On 06.04.25 Only 1 draught beer out of 12. Cans of coke and Holsten Pils in cans. The delivery didn't turn up was the excuse, how about maintaining supplies better, go to a wholesaler, borrow from your other pub in Newport. Useless idiots.

Love lunch with the family. Great value. Nice food. Good Service. Working really hard to make a good atmosphere. It's working. Great Place.

Brilliant table service, funny, engaging and great with our kids. Food was really tasty too and it's a lovely atmosphere inside too!

expensive,chips were not very nice,and the fish espeacially the rock was terrible all batter and what fish their was brownish not nice.wont use again.

Two large cod’s, one regular chips ? Mr Fish Cranfield £22 odd Rumbles Marston £22 odd Moores £29.70 ……… hadn’t been for six years and it’s likely to be another six years !! Update I suggest you check with the staff working today, Monday 21/04 I handed over 2 x £20 when asked for I think £29.70 and received £10 something ………. also I was told when I questioned the cost, the large cod’s were £13.50 each and chips £3.70 ………. Bank Holiday staff, Bank Holiday pricing ? ………. a nice try at ripping someone off and I certainly won’t be returning !! Further update A thought ! You advised that my prices are wrong …….. I know what I paid ! The lack of ‘walk in’ customers was noticeable ……… only Deliveroo types on a Bank Holiday ? Was I (deliberately) charged the App price ? Who pockets the difference ? Expensive for me at the time and well, the number of people my mate has told !!!!

Absolute rip off. Went for sunday lunch £25.50 per head. All the vegetables were raw and just boiled. The beef had a ton of grissle and fat. Cauliflower cheese miniscule portion £2.50. It's cheaper to have a sunday roast in kensington which is cooked properly. The location is amazing. Wonderful seating areas. We complained and were given a few £s off the bill.

Just came back from Scotland, and was in need of some good fish and chips after bad experiences in MK I wasn’t confident. However, with some chips whilst waiting (which were the best I’ve had down south), and the fish was very good for how far we are away from the sea! 10/10 and the man serving was excellent, super nice and respectful!

Came for Sunday lunch, lovely tender beef, nicely cooked vegetables, home cooked roast potatoes which were crispy, crispy Yorkshire pudding and everything hot. In a lovely old pub friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

First time at the Harvester, had Sian as a server we received really great service very welcoming and helpful. Would absolutely recommend

I’ve been aware of The Carrington Arms for many years, but never actually been there. Well what can I say, I wish I’d gone sooner. What an absolute treat, beautiful building, lovely atmosphere and SUPERB food . The staff were amazing. There was a young, new member of staff learning the ropes. Her name was Ella, and we found her to be delightfully and hope she does well. She looked after us with great care. We didn’t get the ladies name who was training her, but needless to say, was excellent also . We hope to return very soon 5***** +

Always great service and excellent food from here would definitely recommend. Parking can be a nightmare at times however.
