Smarts in Milton Keynes

All our food, piping hot,prepared as we had requested, Happy faces all round. As always Smarts are on the top of giving their customers good quality,lovingly prepared scrummy food.

food was stone cold! don't expect to have to heat my food up! This was first time using you!

This place is not halal! I was told that they use veg oil, and that the oil used in the chips is separate to the oil used for meat. But my friend was told the oil used in the chips is cross contaminated with meat.

Smarts has been one of our favourite Fish & Chips, their Spicy potatoes are legendary, their burgers are juicy and cooked to perfection as are their chips. Simply amazing food.

Ordered the food at 4.25 and it took just under 2hrs for delivery even though it stated 15-30 minutes. I don't blame smarts I'm assuming it was a issue with getting a driver. But the food was barely warm. This is the first time I've had an issue like this.

The order didn't turn up. I watched the driver on the map, and they didn't attempt to ring the doorbell or call my phone (which I requested in the note). Very disappointed as I've ordered from here many times in the past.

always delivered fast fresh and warm

Normally, our orders from Smarts have been brilliant, sometimes a little less than hot, but ok. Tonights order was almost cold. The chips were a soggy mess in the paper bag, and the salad had been in the bag so long, that it was warm. Such a shame, because we like smarts. Maybe we will go elsewhere for a little time.

Shocking service. Ignored. Waited over 40 minutes. They forgot but didn't apologise and didn't care. Gone really downhill. Won't use again.

I which the meat arrives hot. I assume is not possible. Probably put the meat in a different container and instructions to re-heat. Sauces on the side. Kind of assemble your kebab thing

The burger had no salad or ketchup which was weird and disappointing the chips are always good

I had food poisoning on Thursday I ordered from there on Wednesday evening but when I rang up to complain there said we have had no complaints about it and there said I don't think u got food poisoning from us but I would not lie about it so I emailed tranded standards about It so I am waiting for them to email me back so never order from there

Food was nice, definitely would have the chicken wrap again as that was delicious. Only disappointment is I did request 2 x cans of Fanta and given 2 x bubblegum drinks that had to throw.

the meat was supposed to be mixed, but I received undercooked chicken, which had nothing to do with the kebab, and the fries were undercooked... I won't order anything again

Was looking forward to a nice chip and battered sausage dinner hmm big mistake chips tasted old and dry and battered on sausage was heavy and hard not crispy at all and omg an anemic sausage no taste no colour whole dinner in the bin will not be back

If you are Muslim stay away from here they are not halal. Last week I went in and asked the owner if there Donna meat is halal, he said yes of course it is. Trusted him then today my brother goes in to order meat Donna he thought to ask the owner if it was.. owner told him no it was never halal. Truly discussed as the owner said he was Muslim too. At this point I wouldn't put it pass them if they use pig fat oil. Just to also add there chilli sauce is the cheap stuff that gives you the runs and has a horrible taste. Just keep clear of these fakes. There are much better places in MK.

Food was all good. Chicken kebab with chips and salad was v tasty. Spring roll was massive. The battered mushrooms were good. Tried a battered mars bar for the first time was good too!

The Boss called me to check my order. I was very grateful he made the effort and it was sorted promptly. When people take the time to act professionally, it says a lot about their business and how they go out their way to please the customer. Jacket potatoe was delicious. As was the salad and scampi. And the driver was quick and friendly. I therefore recommend Smarts and give them 5⭐️'s. Thank you. 😀

Always hot fantastic food whatever I order for myself and my family..

First time I have only given 3 stars, normally give 5. I ordered 1.5ltr diet Coke, but was only given 1.25ltr. Small difference but paid for 1.5ltrs! Also I ordered the double cheeseburger. I was going to order an additional salad, but it said the cheeseburger comes with salad. There was no salad whatsoever, so I was disappointed to just have a roll, cheese and burgers, no sauce and no salad. Chips were OK. I will order again, but if mistakes are made again it may be my last order. Driver was on time and very friendly and polite. Thank you..

Not quite the usual standard I’ve come to expect from Smarts. Portions were still a very good size but the chips weren’t as nice as usual, the curry sauce was watery and the burger didn’t have any salad as advertised. Not awful and I’d still order again, as usually love Smarts!

the delivery was smashed I have sent you the pictures, you never refunded me and also the delivery driver was very rude,pls have consideration I always order from you and is it fair the service you gave?

Order was put in at 1805 , delivery time kept going up and up and up finally arrived between 7.30pm and 7.45pm . Delivery then dropped the food on the floor and commented oops. With the very late delivery and dropping it on the floor it was cold .

Great food as always. Let down by slow delivery as driver seemed to be stopping at other food places on the way back to us, obviously picking up other orders, which meant food was cold by the time it reached us.

the driver couldn't find us and was using google maps which doesn't help as it sends him to the wrong cul de sac and that need sorting out as we are in the second cul de sac which involved having a cold meal which was meant to be hot and we had to rewarm it up in the microwave

brilliant food, great taste and easy service

The batter on the battered sausage was hard and not crunchy at all. Chips tasted old. Spicy potatoes tasted okay, but again texture was like they had been left for a while.

driver sat at the other end of the estate stationary so has to walk down to collect my food by that time it was too cold to eat

The fish was over cooked and extremely greasy and the chips were scraps not what you would call chips..... all that AFTER they sent my order to somebody else.... very very low quality food

I worked there it was good and then I have been back as a customer and it was outstanding
