Great pub just near local shop and opposite the bull friendly staff live tv sports brilliant jukebox and dart board toilets are clean lovley atmosphere I ain't been for a year went today and put 10 songs on the jukebox and had a diet coke and cheese and onion crisps

Nice looking pub with a big front garden and car park. Kitchen never seems to be open. Smelted bad of fishy eggs when i walk in there and the men’s toilets were that filthy I used the disabled. Disable toilets had a slight water leak on the floor and does not have a hand dryer. I ordered a pint of ale and packet of crisps! They didn’t have any crisps and the pint of ale i returned because it tasted off, I ordered a pint of fosters instead which seemed flat and had an eggy smell. The best thing about this pub is the fast chargers in the car park. I will be using the chargers again but next time I’ll bring my own coffee with me while I wait in my car

Didn't eat in here but the food looked amazing and it was packed so always a good sign.

Great local pub , fantastic garden for kids in summer.

This is our new favourite local pub. We love the large garden and bouncy castle - often out at the weekend. Makes it a great place for a toddler to enjoy too. Especially the family fun days/ kids parties. It has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Haven't yet tried the food, but plan to. Prices are very good and friendly staff.

Love this place. My fave pub in NP and I've visited most. Great food, brilliant landlady and magnificent staff - nothings too much trouble for them. Also excellent parking and e-charge points are under construction. 5 Stars every day of the week!!

Relaxed, friendly, old fashioned (in a good way) pub. Reasonably priced, reasonable quality, great customer service. Wine selection very limited but would still recommend as a family friendly, easy going, place to eat.

Genuine friendly local pub where the landlords remember their customers and you really feel at home. Good quality homemade food as well. Lovely welcome to kids too. And a darts board and plenty of entertainment put on in the evenings at weekends. Best pub in Newport Pagnell.

Overly aggrssive sub landlord alltough he goes missing for months at a time & leaves the lady that owns it for months at a time

Local pub. Large beer garden with seating put the front plus a smaller smoking area outside the back. Inside the pub is tidy, with standard plain walls, a few televisions for showing football or other sports, and a small pub bar. When I visited they had a version of a disco. More of a stand alone speaker with a smoke machine. Friendly staff and landlady. Pub seems to have a nice clientele. Only visited late at night so cannot say if child friendly.

Good Sunday dinner at reasonable price

Brilliant food and brilliant customer service last night with the group of people I was with. Lovely,bubbly bar staff. Thanks very much to you all and the chef/chefs.

Great little find, rooms were very clean and separate from the pub. Food in the pub was reasonable and staff throughout both the rooms and bar were friendly and very helpful. Only drawback was the bar doesn't open after 4pm on a Sunday, which we hadn't realised when booking, have to take a cool box next time we visit.

Always a a great pub to go to. Good selection of beers. Huge, lovely garden to sit out in with plenty of room. Staff always friendly everytime

Last visit, the poor owner was on her own with two staff out sick. But we were still offered sandwiches and a smiley face. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. They are also dog friendly, which is a bonus!

Just had a super lunch! I had hearty homemade chicken and leek pie and my mum had homemade tomato soup. Absolutely gorgeous food, super friendly service and really lovely, comfortable, warm atmosphere!

Met with a book group, very welcoming, didn't mind us just buying a drink and sitting talking all afternoon

Came here for food after travelling from Northumberland to see family and what can I say, the meals are very tasty and wow you certainly got big portions. Staff are fabulous and very helpful. Dogs also welcomed. I'd give 10 stars not 5. Anyone wanting to eat please give the kings arms a try.

Even during all this virus pandemic, I felt very safe eating there! The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend and will definitely be going again ☺️

Brilliant pub, lovely service and very friendly staff. Good with little ones, have taken my toddler a couple of times now and they have a little slide and seesaw, as well as some little kiddy chairs out, which were very sweet and fun for my little one. Definitely recommend and will definitely go again! Great to have such a lovely pub on our doorstep.

You can't be ambivalent when it comes to The Kings Arm, whether it's a tryst under the large Oak in the garden, a pint with the lads or a family lunch, cheery Kat and big hearted Neil will make you so welcome you wont want to leave. People make pubs and these people and their clientele make this pub a must go too, ocasional live acoustic music, great pub food, always fun, by far the best pub in town!

Absolutely fantastic!!! Staff were really friendly, and the Surf & Turf was amazing. I work nearby once a month, and will be returning here. Kat and Neil, the Managers, were very welcoming, as were the staff. I personally cannot recommend this establishment highly enough.

Great bike meet on a Tuesday evening.

Management seemed amazing and friendly but was let down by a younger member of staff not knowing the drinks menu at all and forgetting a drink from the order, then didn't know how to spit the bill.

Visit to the kings arms today and had the roast beef sunday lunch and to be honest it was probably one of the best sunday lunches ive ever had great portions all fresh produce and all hot plus great service well done to the kings arms .

A great, family friendly pub. The landlady, Kat, always welcomes everyone with a smile. Kids and dogs always welcome too. Especially lovely on a sunny day so you can enjoy the large garden. Definitely recommend.

I was made very welcome by the Landlady/Manager - Cat. Food was excellent. They were very busy, but I got my drink and only waited about 20 minutes for my food. Would highly recommended. Live Music for Sunday Lunch.

Such an amazing pub for children, my kids now ask to go to the pub on a Friday instead of a park as an end of school treat. Kat is the most amazing landlady, makes everyone feel welcome always happy to see you and has great community spirit. We like Neal also.

Young staff member black hair and glasses very rude seemed like she didn't want to be there or serve us! Asked what cider they sold was given 3 different largers when asking again about ciders was completely clueless said she didn't know. Carried on and ordered 4 drinks only 3 Came out overall not a pleasure landlady lovely and friendly shame she couldn't of served us.

There was Trouble Tuesday night Fighting

Was very busy hence why service was slow, land lady very apologetic but seemed a nice pub and would go back again.

Sat for 40 minutes in the garden, Order taken after 30 minutes but drinks never arrived. Other people jumping in. Only told when we enquired that short staffed and 30 minute wait.

Food was good. Very lovely friendly staff. Very obliging.

Fantastic landlords, top quality food and drinks, best pub in town. Highly recommend. Kat and Neil are wonderful welcoming and the most gracious hosts.

We picked up a takeaway Sunday Roast for five of us on Easter Sunday. Great food after our walk. Hopefully they will be able to open soon for eat in meals.would definitely recommend.

Often visit this lovely establishment would go as far as say one of the best pubs in Newport pagnell the staff are amazing always friendly the food is bang on everytime I've visited it's always been busy which says they must be doing something right highly recommend to anyone to go and take a visit you will not be disappointed keep up the good hard work see you all again when you reopen cant wait well done!!!

Quite often stay at the hotel almost next door to the Kings Arms. Over a time, I have tried most pubs etc. locally. This is by far the worst pub in the area.Looks so nice from the front, with a beautiful garden area, but once inside it's like a horror show. Popped in again a couple of days ago, nothing has changed unfortunately, extremely rude manager, very dated decor, poor food, the list goes on and on.Try some of the other pubs/restaurants locally, don't waste your time or money with this one.

If your passing or just fancy a take out go spoil yourself to a home made chicken and leek pie you definitely wont be disappointed give it a try .

Great afternoon in this lovely, family friendly pub. Very welcoming and with good Covid safe measures in place. The landlady and staff are all welcoming and friendly despite being full to capacity and having to deal with torrential rain to keep people seated in the beautiful marquee fed and supplied with drinks!!

Very tasty food, all in big portions. We had mains and dessert and everything was delicious. Will definitely return.

Was in here on the weekend although covid-19 is going on we were greeted by a tall gentleman at the Door very pleasant from the outset we were made to feel welcome and the staff were equally as pleasant this has to be recommended and there food smells delicious. Was remarkable they were also doing a bit of funding for children school meals as they had there little petition going on. Amazing guys

Untrained staff, rude landlady, rubbish roast most of it cold, service wasn’t great either won’t be coming back. Place could do with a refurb also, very dated.

Myself and my family use this pub all the time. Why? Simple really. IT IS AWESOME!!! Every time we have visited we are welcomed like we are long lost family not just pub goers. The landlady Kat has pulled out all the stops during covid to make it a comfortable, relaxing and warm place to visit. The staff work their backsides off to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The food has always been tasty and filling and the roast dinners are just superb. If I’m ever on death row and get to choose my final meal it will be Kat’s roast! I’ve read some of the reviews on here that seem to be malicious rather than honest and all I can say is try this pub for yourself and you won’t be disappointed. The whole team are fantastic and they are doing everything they can right now during these unprecedented times to make your stay a memorable one. Well done kings arms for all you do. I can’t wait to come back soon

Great little pub very clean and very polite staff the food i ordered off the specials board was delicious Moroccan lamb followed by chocolate sponge and custard .all the covid rules were being adopted but not over the top like some places .will definitely visit there again .

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch a weeks or so ago and a great evening meal a couple of days previously. Shame we don't live nearer or would eat there regularly. Strongly recommended.

Have used this pub a few times now when in Newport Pagnell and I would fully recommend it for its food, staff, value and Covid safety.Meals are delicious and very reasonably priced. A great selection of beers and spirits. The staff & management are hard working, friendly & ultra professional regarding Covid situation. Plenty of TV screens for watching football.I would certainly recommend it for any visitor's to NP as you will get a friendly welcome, it might be worth booking on busy football nights. I look forward to calling in again on my next trip to Newport Pagnell.

My partner and I dropped in on a rainy day, my intention was to have a couple of beers,and move on. It has a good selection of ales alsothe staff made us feel welcome, and comfortable so we decided to look at the the menu and decided to give it a go, and wasn’t disappointed good food at a reasonable price, we both look forward to our next visit

Always a friendly welcome here. Staff are great, food excellent and a good range of brews. Tuesday night is bike night and can get very busy! Not a problem if you like motorbikes and owners are friendly and approachable. Nice big lawn at the front for those warm evenings too.

Recently moved to the area, tried several of the local pubs but this one is by far the best. They have a good selection of beers and the food is great.They are still doing half-price food on Mondays and Tuesdays.The Covid rules are good and strictly enforced - feel safe being in there.They also have a very large beer garden for anyone worried about being inside.Would highly recommend this pub.

Visiting family.. was told about a half decent pub. Once inside. Very impressed with staff and food available.. would recommend trying the beer battered fish and chips.. Will defentley return when I'm in the area again

Absolutely love this pub and all the staff that work there, the landlady is very welcoming and friendly, eaten here on several occasions the new breakfast menu is amazing, all the food was locally sourced from local suppliers and tastes great would definitely recommend getting down there on a Saturday morning! the Sunday roast is the best in Newport, the beef and the homemade mustard is so good! All in all a good wholesome family pub with good food with friendly people and happy faces 5*****

Not the best. Food was ok but I would say in respect of Covid not good. We had booked a table but the landlady who was clearly drunk herself had clearly forgotten and found is a table next to some drunks. The table was not wiped down as they asked an old couple to move so we could hv the “booked” table. We then had an uncomfortable evening listening to every other word, which can only be described as vulgar, and him also engaging a lewd act on a girl while her bf was at the bar. He then wanted to pick a fight with his other drunk mate so started shouting and screaming at him. Staff served all drinks as normal at the bar. No Covid practice at all. One way system people ignored. I don’t like to give negative reviews but if you want good food and to feel safe in a pleasant atmosphere this definitely isn’t the place to go.

Exceptionally rude staff especially the land lady! Spend your money elsewhere! The atmosphere is awful and you are spoken to like dirt!
