Lovely meal great staff. Just an update had a family occasion and the staff did a great job and looked after us all thank you.

Had a great experience at Harvester Fountain MK! The service was excellent—Albert really went above and beyond to make sure everything was spot on. Super friendly and attentive throughout. The food was tasty and came out quickly. Definitely recommend if you’re after good food and great service. Thanks, Albert!

I stopped in for breakfast and was genuinely impressed. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and incredibly quick. My food arrived fast, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It’s rare to find a place that nails both speed and quality, but this one does it effortlessly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to start their day with a great meal and even better service! Server was the lovely Lucia. Bef also helped. Great team work which made the service effortless.

Booked and seated immediately. Drinks and food order taken quickly and then food arrived < 10 mins later. Beefy Bex got all order right and knew the whole menu. Very friendly and attentive. Yay.

We were visiting the area and saw the harvester was near to where we were going. We booked in and the pub looks lovely from the outside. Gorgeous old building :) Service was fab, Beefy was great and attentive. The food was lovely and we can’t fault it at all. If we come back this way again we will return. Thanks ☺️

Food at the harvester the fountain was top notch as usual, great old pub feel when u arrive and modern to eat , the waitress nicknamed "beefy" was lovely and attentive, going the extra mile and making sure our meal was lovely. Def recommend this restaurant and server.

We had breakfast here two days running while staying in the nearby hotel. We had excellent and friendly service from both Bef and Lucia and the food was really good quality and good value for money.

We had an amazing experience here, all the food was 10/10 and beafy are waitress did a brilliant job honestly 10/10 service.

Went for dinner on a Saturday evening as a family of 5 and the Harvester at Loughton always hits the spot. Our server Beth (Beefy) was super friendly, attentive and helpful. Food, as always, was great quality and plentiful. Atmosphere was good, busy enough for a buzz but not too noisy. Recommended as a great family dining venue.

I had dinner here with a colleague and it was a very welcoming experience. Jenna was a great Server/waitress and she deserves recognition for her attitude and customer approach.

Haven't been to the harvester in a while and we absolutely loved our meal the food was delicious and our waitress Denise was wonderful nothing was too much trouble and kept checking everything was ok even though it was a very busy saturday evening..i cannot recommend this place enough and i will 100% be returning soon...

Wonderful breakfast here today. Our server Bef (Beefy) was incredibly attentive & really helpful, she checked on us & offered takeaway boxes for our extras. Such a welcoming member of staff. We shall be back!

Started the day right with a hearty breakfast. We were served by the delightful Beefy and as usual she was attentive and made us feel welcome.

Food: tastes so good, Harvester sauces are the best Service: too slow, waited 35 minutes for food 🫠 to pay we need to go up to the server or we would be waiting forever 😮‍💨 Atmosphere: very dim

Nice old style local restaurant nice food back garden

First time I have been back to the Fountain in 6 years even though it is 5 minutes walk away from where I live. The food was not good then and the vegetarian options were poor and badly cooked. Today’s visit I cannot fault, vegetarians are now well catered for and the food is well presented and VERY tasty, the meat eaters in the group were also very happy with their food. The service was excellent and I would like to give a special mention to our server Lucy B who is an asset to the restaurant and very efficient, friendly and welcoming. We will definitely not wait another 6 years to return and will once again make it our local.

Love a Harvester and love the self-service salad bar. Love the free refills too. Always great for an all round menu with huge selection. Great family restaurant too.

Allowed me to book a table, when I got there after having spent £10 on Ubers they said they’re not serving food even though I got there before 10pm. Not impressed

Has public wifi, but signing up is a bit like the Spanish Inquisition. You’ll be asked for your date of birth, but at least not the colour of your vest!

Another Family Meal for 6, (5 months since our last visit). This time Sain ( I think that's her name) was Excellent with her service. Not sure if the menu had changed but it did seem better. I ordered the Pork Belly & Chorizo Skewers (2 off), & Mrs B ordered the the Gammon, both meals were Top Notch, in fact I reacon my Skewers were exceptional, which is unusually high praise from me. The rest of the family voted with their silence. Everyone else enjoyed Pudds or Coffees, but I was to stuffed, especially after the wonderful salad Cart. Looking forward to our next Family Visit.

Went for Mothers day with our friends, Lauren who served us was amazing even though our table had a good few of us, She was on it at all times for us. Props to her. Food was delicious as usual and quick with no issues. Highly reccomend the cornbread

Amazing service, love our regular waitress Beth she's so lovely and so are the rest of the staff. Wonderful food, always very fresh and very quick service you know what you're getting. Great for families, parties, alone, couples, the lot. Highly recommend the spinach & ricotta filled pasta shells which comes with a tomato sauce and bread, always a go-to. I really like their new 'blue cheese salad' at the salad bar, it's like an elevated coleslaw (and doesn't taste anything like blue cheese don't worry).

Haven’t been to a harvester in well over 7 years. The salad was even better than I remember, the food was really nice and well cooked. Our server Lauren was so lovely and took really good care of us.

Mark our server was fantastic, my family owned the pub in the early 1900s grateful to see it in real life not just the picture we have and he was very interested to know our story. Great little pub food awesome food. Salad bar a hit!!

Went today for lunch with 5 of my lovely family.I cannot fault anything .I'd asked for a round table (no guarantee) but we were given one.The food was excellent ,Denise was our server and the was lovely .We all had a very enjoyable lunch .The skewers ,simply beef,tacos,burger,and haddockand chips .All excellent and very good value

Great value for money, And the food was decent. My issue was with the miserable male member of bar staff. I had an armed forces discount card which he wouldn’t accept, despite the Harvester advertising that’s it’s accepted.

Dropped in on spur of the moment to a warm welcome. My companion has dietary needs and limitations a little off menu which our server accommodated without difficulty. We enjoyed our meals in comfort in the relaxing ambiance. We love this place!

Good, friendly service from staff. Food was ok but the main issue was that it arrived luke warm. If we weren't so hungry would have sent back to be reheated. Great prices.

The food is delicious but I am not satisfied with the order. The first time we ordered burgers with sauces and they forgot to add them. This time we ordered burgers and sweet potatoes and they brought us regular fries . After the second wrong order we probably won't order again. I think everyone would be dissatisfied if they ordered and paid for one thing and received something different.

Bad service , rude staff , false advertising , Went for a birthday meal with family , as soon as we arrived we were told there was no chicken and no sweet potatoes , I understand it’s pay day weekend and they are busy but the manager would know that and should order in accordingly ? We were told their delivery is tomorrow Before we arrived I looked on the website and it stated they do a Sunday evening deal . Two courses £17.99 anytime Sunday after 1130am I showed the waitress she said they didn’t do that anymore ! I said well it’s on your website so that’s false advertising ? Manager came over and said no sorry we don’t do that deal anymore , yet it’s live on their website ? I then had a voucher that was emailed to me for a free birthday meal , when you buy two main meals … We did just that as well as a kids meal , when the bill came , the kids meal had been taken off but not the main meal ? Manager said it’s the cheapest meal that you get free so in this instance this is the kids meal , so how is that my birthday meal free ? When you order two main meals I think this is false advertising The waitress Lucy was very snappy and defensive and said it wasn’t her fault , I didn’t once blame her or any staff member but they shouldn’t be allowed to advertise something that’s not available The manager and Lucy made me feel very uncomfortable and quite frankly ruined the atmosphere as well as it being embarrassing to query the bill , especially on my birthday

Our server Denise was lovely, really attentive and friendly. The food was what you’d expect from a Harvester, chips were a little undercooked but overall a pretty good meal. Nice atmosphere.

We took our Grandson for dinner in the evening here. He is autistic and was struggling with the noise in the restaurant. He said he couldn't stay as it was too unsettling for him. I asked the Manager (Stuart) if we could be moved to somewhere quieter. Although the restaurant was very busy this evening, he found us a nice quiet little table in the bar. Stuart was very friendly and understanding. As was George who served us at the bar. The waitresses were lovely too, nothing was too much trouble and we're always asking if we were okay or if we needed anything. Although they were very busy we didn't wait long for our food and drinks. And the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back.

Visited on 18th February 2025. Told we would need to sit in bar as no tables in restaurant and to wait 30 mins before ordering food and that food would be one hr on top of that. I totally appreciate it's half term and busy but this shouldn't be a reason for plates, food, glasses and dirt everywhere. Limited salad on "salad cart" the food arrived luke warm and after arriving two hrs prior I decided to get a refund. The staff are doing a very difficult job, not enough employees to cater for the volumes of people. Rotisserie chicken out of stock as well as many other options. I've had a response from a complaint that i sent direct to Harvester with a mobile number that answers and sounds like a tv on in background, very unprofessional. Avoid at all costs this expensive, dirty, busy location.

Obsessed with their chicken and waffles

Family meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Family of 6 and felt the table was a tight squeeze, especially when we had all our coats. Service was superb. Attentive, polite, and ensured we were looked after. The food was super yummy, and all in all, we had a great meal. Maybe next time, book more in advance and ask for a table, not booth type. Highly recommend this restaurant as a Harvester.

Just had a great family dinner at this restaurant, had all but given up on harvester until we booked this restaurant. Food was great service was great and tip was optional, service charge was not added to bill which in itself was refreshing. Will be visiting again for sure.

There was 15 of us to celebrate my sons 21st birthday. The staff were amazing and very helpful. They brought my sons cake out and sang happy birthday. The food was lovely. Thank you for accommodating 15 of us.

LOVELY FOOD, GREAT STAFF, WELL WORTH A VISIT

The member of staff that showed us to our table was polite and welcoming, however, the table staff were disconnected with us as customers. They made very little attempt to welcome us and no attempt in enquiring how our food was, or indeed, our overall experience. The food was inedible if I’m being brutally honest. My husband had the steak flatbread which was chewy and tasteless. I had the chicken flatbread, but I’m not entirely sure that it was chicken, as it was rubbery and bland. It appeared to be processed meat to me. The chips were nice though.

The person who served us seemed like a nice person, the thing that grated me was being referred to as my lovely. In this day and age it's outdated and not professional, they need to go on a diversity course. The food was lukewarm and items were missing.The salad bar was sparse dirty side plates.

Went for our friends 60th birthday catch up. Vegan option was 1 for mains, so burger,( there's a change) it was. Salad kart was ok. Most of the labels didnt have allergy markings on them. Desert was a complete disappointment. We had a vegan version of a normal Desert. We basically paid £6.99 for 3 scoops of ice cream and some lemon sauce. So not very inclusive at all. And not value for money. Service was good though, even when our server went home, mew server came and introduced themselves. I also wrote an email and so far haven't had a reply.
