Harvester remains a family favourite place to eat! Love the salad bar, and the quality and variety of food options are great! Staff always welcoming and accommodating.

Breakfast with Santa but with a twist. My little boy has autism and doesn’t do well with busy places but loves Santa. He gets overwhelmed so we were able to get a video of Santa with a little message for him and oh my god! It made me believe all over again. The best Santa!! Thank you so much, it has made his day and made him that little bit more excited for Christmas 🎅🏻

Had a lovely meal with the family and our server kyra was very polite and prompt with cleaning our table. All staff were friendly and a cosy Atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

An early family Christmas celebration. Food was fantastic and filling. Service dire with long waiting times and very long wait for meal to final appear. Our waitress Denise was fantastic though despite having 6 tables assigned to her simultaneously, thus the slow service. Manager good at recognising our frustration over delay on everything and gave us a good discount to compensate. Overall a good evening and I will be going back!

We came in as a big group and from the go everything was amazing, the service, the food, the speed every thing was great and definitely would go again.

I go as part of a large group of badminton people when we visit Milton Keynes a handful of times a year. We are 20+ in number and we don't arrive till approx.8:30 on a Saturday evening. The staff are always brilliant with us. We can't praise them highly enough, 11 out of 10!

Visited after a funeral and was made to feel welcome.

Just been served by Lucy, the most attentive waitress who has ever served me since being diagnosed as coeliac. She went above and beyond in checking the food would be ok. Offering to help understand the allergens as some meals are gluten free if you remove for example the onion rings. She also offered and got me salad from the kitchen to avoid cross contamination as the salad bar has pasta and rolls. Thank you Lucy, really enjoyed my evening.

Christmas dinner frozen roast potatoes we're raw and hard same for the carrots, pigs blankets undercooked, last years Christmas dinner amazing like years before this was like a large roast microwave meal absolutely awful! Harvester has completely shot themselves on the roast Christmas dinner! What used to be so lovely is so low grade using frozen roast potatoes and vegetables from the supermarket that was not even cooked! I appreciate companies having to cut costs in this climate but they have made a massive mistake here. We've had the Christmas roast there for 15 years but never again! Complete waste of £65

We visited for a birthday lunch. The waitress who served us, Beth, was just lovely. Very efficient and friendly. She was attentive during our visit, making sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely top notch service. Thank you Beth for making our visit so great. The food was mostly good. My husband's chicken was really dry, so he didn't eat much of it, otherwise we had an enjoyable lunch.

Visited here recently and definitely hope to return one day. The food was delicious with a great selection available for all, and the staff were absolutely amazing. They were so friendly and helpful from start to finish. I would highly recommend a visit here.

Great place for a meal with a good vibe, had a great range of veggie and vegan options and the desserts were good aswell. It wasn’t as busy as we thought it would be

I went with my granddaughter. It is a bit difficult securing a table to give a number with a child. That was the only downside. The food was good, also good value for money. Not overly loud, even though it was busy. I will definitely go there again.

Food is decent, but the service is below the expected level. After visiting on 15th September, we checked the bill at home and noticed that some items which were supposed to be included in the Set promo were actually charged separately. Yes, we had 25% discount, but that should've been applied on top of the current 2/3 set menu prices, not charged fully for individual items. I understand mistakes happen and at the end of the day it's not a fortune. But what was really annoying is that I have filled the contact complaint form on their website 3 times and no one bothered to reply back. Again, it may be a mistake, there may be something we did not understand at the time, but even if this is the case you don't ignore customers contacting you multiple times regarding a potential problem with the bill. Good food, but the customer/management service is just not good enough. Not coming back

Got a takeaway breakfast this morning, and wow it was made with love!! Everything was so spot on, well done to the chef there!!!

This is a very short walk away from the Travel Lodge, where we stayed as a waypoint when visiting Warner Brother Studios. And last year when visiting Bletchley Park. The food was very nice, there was plenty to eat, especially with the free salad bar. I had a couple of very nice pints of beer, and the kids enjoyed their free top up pops. The service was great, the staff friendly. The place was clean and tidy, and there was plenty of parking. Just mind your head if you go!😁👍

Only popped in for a pint and the Stella on tap was tasty...big pub plenty of places to sit a look at ur phone..heating on comfortable seating ..

Always enjoy going to the Harvester. I have been there a few times. Great salad bar, a good choice on the menu and good food. Quite big inside, a decent amount of tables and very clean Bottomless soft drinks machine, which is great value, especially for the kids. I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinners there, and I have never had an issue.

Last minute change of venue for a group of 16 for breakfast was accommodated amazingly. Friendly staff and banter from Lucia and Leanne, and great service even whilst splitting the bill individually. Thanks so much for a great Saturday breakfast meetup and looking forward to doing it again next month :D

Walked in, and there was a weird smell in the air. Smelt like dirty oil and cleaner. Walked out. The air should be full of inviting food smells. Real shame. Been ill for a while and well enough to be going out again

Everyone was polite on arrival and our table had space for a pram to be out of the way as requested when I made the booking. Staff congratulated us on the arrival of our baby, it was just a nice start to the evening

Food barely passable and awful service. Starter came out in literally 5 mins after our order, before the drinks even came, then a 40 min wait for the main meal, followed by over an hour wait for our desert. Had to ask and then argue 3 times for our deserts. I was told it wasn’t their fault that they were busy and had no staff! (Pub seemed empty at the time.) I was then told it’s their policy that I go and tell them when we are ready for our deserts. Filthy dirty, no staff, no service, no apologies. At £120 not exactly cheap either. Won’t be using Harvester as brand again, should of known better than yo use a chain.

Went yesterday, new Menu, prices have gone up alot, was a regular visitor and always had the lunch time menu, which is no longer available, disappointed, will not be visiting again.

Breakfast is consistently good but what keeps us going back is the service from Beth. She is just superb.

Not been to the Harvester in a while because it felt like fast food conveyor belt service but wanted to visit our local restaurant today and were blown away. Leanne greeted us, seated and served us, she is a fantastic ambassador for the company. It was very busy but she made eye contact regular and apologised for the wait saying she’d be right back to take our order. Most servers would ignore you if busy or be full of panic about hold ups, because Leanne kept us informed regularly we respected the wait and didn’t feel annoyed. Leanne was confident and calm throughout not just with us but many other customers. She would make a fabulous customer service trainer for new staff. The meal was actually very nice and perfectly cooked, salad was fresh and topped up but it could have been awful and we would have eaten it because Leanne’s expertise and customer service brought us onboard. She isn’t false, overbearing, she naturally does her job and makes a difference in the way she approaches the role. A real credit to the business, what a fabulous evening we had and totally exceeded our expectations.

Ordered burger and sweet potato fries food came but fries were not very warm sent them back got new portions staff were nice no plate asked for one also asked for water but they forgot so had to get our own not best experience

Don’t usually go to the harvester, but this one was excellent. The food was great and the staff superb, especially Laura who was very patient at helping us sign up for the app so that we could save quite a bit with their special deal for the night. Highly recommended.

Went to our local Harvester in Milton Keynes Loughton. The decor was refreshing and a 5 star rating for our waitress Kay, very friendly and helpful. She took time to talk to us, very polite.

Had not been there in the past 5-6 years, so last night decided to give it another try. Bad decision. Food was horrible and price would have been OK if the food had any quality. Service was sluggish, took 45 min to serve us bearing in mind that it was Sunday night and the place was empty. The salad bar looked disgusting and overall Hygiene and cleanliness did not inspire any confidence. They have reduced the size of all portions and increased the prices. I ordered a half roast chicken which was the size of a pigeon and the bourbon sauce smelled awful.

Came in today was served by caitlin who was very friendly and polite and made sure everything was OK with our meal I will be back

My wife and I went with our 9yr old Grandson as a mid holiday treat for him. We chose the Harvester as it had a number of vegetarian options that suited my wife's preferences. I ordered the small dishes, four in total. Our Grandson had the pasta off the childrens menu, and my Wife ordered the Camembert and tomato tart. The drinks came very quickly, but the mains took about 40 mins. When they came, they had forgotten the pasta. My food was really delicious, but my wife's tart had a soggy bottom plus. The pasta came, and it was more like a tomato soup with pasta floating about in it. We asked if the tart could be replaced, the waitress apologised and went to get another one. This one came, we were astonished to find it was black and well burnt on the bottom. This was again sent back, and we requested a refund. The waitress was very sympathetic and gave us two free coffees. Overall not a good experience and will not be going back any time soon.

Don't go chicken Tuesday unless you have booked or there will be a long wait but food was amazing the chicken and waffle is one of my favourite pub meals. The refillable soft drinks are always a perk.

The highlight of our visit was the service. The waitress, who was visibly very busy all evening, still managed to give us 5 star service! We only visited this restaurant because I was given a gift card. I have not visited a Harvester restaurant for many years due to a few bad visits at other locations. However, this visit has given me the confidence to visit Harvester again in the future. The food was enjoyable and served promptly. Although some items at the salad bar took longer than expected to replenish, it was understandable given it was the weekend. The venue was charming, full of character, and featured exposed wooden beams reminiscent of a thatched cottage.

Had Scampi off the lunch menu which was so good. Just keep coming back here because you have great choice, it's cooked well and the service is good too.

This was a much needed, peaceful and delicious experience. The covid rules were strictly followed in a friendly and gentle manner. Good value for money and I recommend Harvester in loughton without hesitation. My wife and I together with our daughter enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning.

We were served by Lucia, she was friendly, chatty and responsive to our requests. Our drinks and food came promptly. We all ordered flatbreads which were fresh and not dry, the chicken was juicy. We all had salad from the salad bar, which was clean and tidy and well stocked with fresh salad.

Arrived before our booking of 8:30pm to be met by staff who clearly didn’t want us there. They were short and rude. We soon found out there was an hour and 45 minute wait for food, so we left. We were there to celebrate my son in laws birthday. The night was ruined thanks to The Fountain

Chips were a little on the cold side when the waitress asked if everything was OK shenwas told but was a little to late by then and think she thought we were joking. We have been before and the food is usually amazing! Salad bar is one of the best bits!!

I have been here in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it but didn’t have a great experience this one particular time. I will concede that it was likely an exception to the norm as anywhere is capable of having an off moment and the restaurant side has always been excellent when I’ve been there
