Two large cod’s, one regular chips ? Mr Fish Cranfield £22 odd Rumbles Marston £22 odd Moores £29.70 ……… hadn’t been for six years and it’s likely to be another six years !! Update I suggest you check with the staff working today, Monday 21/04 I handed over 2 x £20 when asked for I think £29.70 and received £10 something ………. also I was told when I questioned the cost, the large cod’s were £13.50 each and chips £3.70 ………. Bank Holiday staff, Bank Holiday pricing ? ………. a nice try at ripping someone off and I certainly won’t be returning !! Further update A thought ! You advised that my prices are wrong …….. I know what I paid ! The lack of ‘walk in’ customers was noticeable ……… only Deliveroo types on a Bank Holiday ? Was I (deliberately) charged the App price ? Who pockets the difference ? Expensive for me at the time and well, the number of people my mate has told !!!!

Normally very decent but tonight absolute trash. I ordered £21 worth of food. Onion rings were tiny and shrivelled and cold and felt like they were reheated. Cod was okay. However, the portion of chips size was ridiculously small.

I’ve been a customer Moores here in Monkton Park since they opened. Recently I found that their prices have increased, in my opinion excessively,but the quality of their products have not. This is the last time I will use Moores and I will be spending my money elsewhere, where I know I will get a good product a good price. I’m sure Moores are so arrogant they won’t bother replying to this review. Just to add the staff are great

Just got our Uber delivery and was bitterly disappointed. Chips were tepid and the spring roll was a joke, filled with some kind of pea and sweetcorn soup. It was also no larger than a chip and definitely not a spring roll!!!!!! Will not use you again as your standards have slipped

Fantastic service and great quality food! I recently placed a large order for an event, Moores organised the orders as per our table plan, which made it so easy to give out. The food was delivered exactly on time and it was all perfectly hot. Overall the service exceeded our expectations, thank you Moores!

Lovely non greasy chips and cod, was so nice to eat

So much food sitting in hot cabinet that dont get rotated when new food is cooked. Very overprice but average portion size and quality. Staff seem to faff about alot and not pay attention when taking order resulting in wrong food given. Ordered 2 cod large chips and battered sausage. Cod was small and ships not a large portion. Needs to improve or will loose trade.

Popped in for fish and chips, got home and not happy, no chip was longer than 25mm and the fish was so thin in the over fried dark brown batter that no white fish could be eaten, stuck in this awful grease. My husband placed an order this yesterday evening (no 91) payment of £22.90 was taken at 19:14. I expected the chippy to be busy but it took until 19:48 to get my order, meanwhile delivery guys were coming in constantly and getting their orders prioritised whilst he stood there. To add to the situation, when he arrived home a piece of fish was missing from the order. To say disappointed is an understatement. Tried to email to arrange a refund but the site failed to send it through.

Fantastic Service and Delicious Fish and Chips! I recently visited the fish and chips shop where Raisa, Pute, Keira, and Trish work, and I was impressed by the quality of both the food and service. Raisa is incredibly friendly, always welcoming customers with a warm smile, and Pute, Keira, and Trish are just as attentive and dedicated to making sure each order is perfect.

Great food, very good portions, especially the chips. they do some very good value specials like the mini cod special, which I tend to go for. This was the first Chippy I went to in MK. I tried other places but always come back 😀

We visited moores plenty of times always enjoyed the food that we ordered. Staff were always polite. One time I ordered online, my husband collected. As I unpacked and gave everyone their food. I realised I hadn’t been given the full order. Called the shop wasn’t helpful, basically called us a liar. I’ve since emailed too and received no reply. I haven’t been back since. The online order was clear and was paid for on arrival of the shop. So basically over charged for the food. Since the call was fruitless on the day and an email wasn’t replied too, I have taken my business else where. Disappointing!

So glad I made the journey to try their fish and chips. The service is EXCEPTIONAL and friendly, the fish has a lovely thin crispy batter and it’s super fresh and cream and the chips were freshly made and delicious. Would highly recommend

Sadly, the chips are always hit and miss. Sometimes, great other times like the have been heated up from lunch time. Unfortunately, this evening, it was definitely not award winning fish and chip.

Omg it was good. The small portions were huge. The large portions were more than I could finish. The young gals behind the counter were so helpful and friendly to my son and I. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much for the great food and atmosphere.

Popped into Moores Fish & Chips (Monkston Park) for lunch. Had regular cod & chips which was spot on. Outstanding service from James & Anna who performed Tom Jones songs whilst I waited for fresh fish to cook. Will definitely be going there again 👍🏾

I don't know what has happened , this used to be an amazing chippy but the last 2 times I've ordered I've been disappointed. Chips were horrible mostly the bits you get at the bottom not worth the money considering cost me £680 for 2 portions of chips !!!

Went in this evening after 13 hour shift unfortunately too late for service but the staff certainly made it obvious I was not welcome in there. Unfortunately wasn't able to order what I wanted which is a shame as love their food however their customer service is awful! Will be back, but not in a hurry! Up your game team.

Unbelievable , have never encountered a plaice like it . I was sent on a recon for our group of 12 Land Rover enthusiasts. Easy parking and at 1500HRS quiet. Placed my order, stated , I would sit in . Sat by the clean window. After about 10mins Order up . Approached the counter where poly boxes were waved at me . I said I had stated I was eating in. Yes this is your order . What no plates ??. No .ok what about cutlery ?? No ,we have those tiny lolly stick types. The tiny , one small chip at a time fork , was awful. I left very dejected retuning to the camp site. THE VERY LARGE ORDER WAS IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED . The cheesy bacon chips was vey good ,even though I had to reheat it back at camp. The spam fritters were a bit bland but ok . We had planned this but as emails had not been responded to obviously we ended up taking our business else where . We shall not be back.

Ordered around 5 times from here now for pickup, I choose to add salt and vinegar on both fish and chips, I even add a comment each time for salt and vinegar to please be added, yet everytime we are served completely bland food with not even 1 spec of salt and a drop of vinegar given. Salt and vinegar is part and parcel of fish and chips, yet for some reason times must be that difficult for this business that they can’t even supply a small amount, for this small yet simple thing they refuse to do is the reason we will never be going back to this place and will happily go elsewhere.

Fish batter was really really dark brown. Not appetising at all. Chips were bitty and nearly all of them had brown marks on them. Out of a large portion we probably threw 85% away. Won't be going back there.

Lovely fish & chips. We had scampi too which was delicious. None of it was greasy & served in easy polystyrene type boxes. The shop is lovely & clean & the staff are very friendly too. Will definitely return. Oh & there's lots to choose from on the menu.

When it opened this Moores in Monkston Park was good but it has declined in recent years. The cod is no longer good quality and the staff don't seem all happy or interested. Tonight our takeaway chips were caked in about 5 times the normal level of salt - unacceptable and won't be back in a hurry.

Ordering on line helps beat the queue. Portions are massive. Even mini cod for pensioners with 60p of chips is enough for a normal adult. Normal sized haddock also big. A portion of chips will feed 2 (with fish).

Food was awful. Pie was hard and crusty, chips full of eyes and small scraggy chips. Tiniest pot of curry sauce for almost £3. It appears another place using the cost of living crisis as an excuse to charge the earth for sub standard food. AVOID!

DO NOT ORDER ON UBER EATS! The markup is at least 30% per item on top of their website prices. I love the food but sadly the punitive approach to pricing on uber eats have left me sour, especially given I don't have a car and it's too far too walk. If you do have a car I really love their fish and steak pie but for those who can't drive it's the most expensive chippy in Milton Keynes for delivery. Note: Cat is not included or on the menu

Food got wasted as the food was just dripping in grease! COD which cost nearly 10 pound swimming in grease battered sausage thick with grease curry sauce thick like wallpaper paste. Normal sausage despite asking if they was fresh they sausage was not fresh and was warm and not nice chips needed re heating & the garlic mushrooms was just to over done the meal was disgusting 24 pound down the drain I understand the food is takeaway but dripping in grease is disgusting!! I’ve been to better Moore fish chip shop

OMG .Hands down the best fish and chips we've ever eaten.not at all greasy .perfectly cooked fish and lovely chips . Best take away we've had in ages . Highly recommend this place 👌
