This is a great little chippy, food is always good freshly and very tasty

i was a regular customer until i ordered for my lads birthday tonight on just eat, 2 of the meals were missing the chicken and the shop kept putting the phone down instead of answering it, should be obvious someone has an issue when the phones ringing for over 20 minutes, I understand mistakes happen but if they keep hanging up on you its not great, i had to go through just eat to try to get a refund for the 2 spoilt meals and lad had to have just chips for his birthday meal

didnt deliver chicken for 2 people on the order and kept putting the phone down rather than answering, spent 50 pounds on an order and have to request refund through just eat avoid these at all costs

Whilst I have stated delivered on time, the time was actually changed from what was originally advised when ordered which was annoying. Fish was large and enjoyable and chips plentiful for a small portion but sausage in batter was poor/not crispy

They always supply very enjoyable fish and chips. I would fully recommend them.

Lunchtime specials menu is a must try- excellent quality and quantity always too full but too tasty to waste!! Staff nice and friendly- best chippie that I've tried,definitely worth the money! Been a few times and the quality is always spot on.

You need to take your request to take two payments from my bank so my bank can return my funds back to my account you were trying to get 2 payments when it was just one order fix this please I have had to do it this way as you have given me no other option

This is our local and so glad it is. Never had a bad meal from here. We always order online and then pick up in store and they are always welcoming and quick with service. Really great prices and various delicious food options. Now our go to for takeaway!

Lovely fresh cooked chips, but both Cod were not, had just been kept hot. Previous orders the Cod had been and was delicious. Cod also a lot smaller size.

The food was not so hot as usual and the time slipped from the beginning but apart from that the experience was good.

Very disappointing, chips were not fresh. They were very shriveled, dry and really not good at all. Fish was Very skinny, but tasted ok. Curry sauce was nice. The time for delivery kept changing,longer and longer.

Fabulous cod & chips…the fish was white and flakey and the batter was crispy with no soggy bits. The chips were really hot and not at all soggy. The fish was generously sized and the value for money was excellent.

The staff are friendly and always makes sure you get what you want and the food is hot and tasty also its a reasonable price

I’ve not had fish n chips for at least 6-12 months. Absolutely the best fish n chips I’ve had and I don’t know why I don’t do this a lot more 😋👌🏼

I go to this place regularly for a number of years and normally have Haddock, Jacket potatoes and onion rings. Food is always fresh and tasty. I feed my 80year old parents who are susceptible to poor quality food and trust them with food hygiene. They look forward to eating their meals from there.

This is my number one place to go great food every time with great friendly service.

The kebab was just a low level kebab, as you would expect from a food van outside of nightclub. The hilarious thing was they take away the top part of the pita bread so effectively you get half a portion. I’ve never seen that before so essentially they’re ripping you off with the bread. I have added a picture showing what I found after eating the top part of the kebab, which was all salad and a small amount of meat. I also ordered the silicon Carney chips and they were piping hot but absolutely flavourless. If it was drunk, I would be happy, but I’m not so you get a true review

All of the food tasted awful! Had to throw it all away including the buttered rolls. EVERYTHING THROWN AWAY! VERY ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED!

We like to have a take away at least once a week but out of all of them Village Plaice is on to of our list.

Delivery was on time, but the ships were dry and a bit hard and the fish was dry. Wouldn probably go somewhere else next time.

Food was delicious and the delivery driver was extremely polite and courteous. Will definitely order again

We usually order at the Village Plaice Ashland, but took a leap of faith today. The cod was very nice and crispy and chips were fresh. Quite good.

Good quality and hot. The last time a phone call to ask if a 1/2 hour delay would be acceptable, no problem, turned up after 15 minutes.

Just enjoyed large cod and medium chips, the food was pipping hot and good quality. Definitely our favourite chippy in MK !!

Not the shops fault but it took the delivery driver over 30 minutes to deliver after spending 20 minutes in Bletchley Town. I'm in West bletchley a 5 minute drive away, so there was no need for such a long detour. All my food was cold by the time I got it.

The food was inedible not to the usual high standards Don’t think we will be ordering from here again. Spent £40 on food which ended up in the bin. Chips were nasty, fish was chewy !

I have been meaning to write this review for a while. I’ve never done it before on Google, especially never spent time to share positive feedback. This ‘plaice’ however… is AMAZING!! The fish is light, fluffy, fresh & full of the subtle flavour you’d expect from cod. The batter- equally light and fluffy, full of flavour, and; without that heaviness batter can risk bringing to this British classic. Service wise- not only are they efficient and polite when collect; they stand out for me re their customer service when delivery order also. I got my delivery (usually collect as very local,) and despite the food being perfect as usual, they forgot my vinegar:.: the manager has personally delivered it within minutes of me realising, over and above service - highly recommend

Everyone enjoyed their meals. Very pleased as visitors had travelled for over two hours to see us. Had previously ordered , so had no hesitation to order again.

Have eaten from here multiple times but on this occasion the fish was really over cooked and tasted burnt, the chips were fine.

On this occasion, the fish wasn't the freshest.

Just paid £40 pounds for a meal that made my 75 year old father physically sick! Please don’t eat from this place as I am having the remainder taken away to food standard agency experts as this seems contaminated! Will update with findings soon!

Food was ok but the delivery driver wasn’t promoting the business by saying ‘its a bit far from west Bletchley’

The chips were very cold and the pie was hardly warm. Also prices all gone up but can’t deliver hot food when we literally 3 minutes drive away. Not very nice at all
