Great service from Dan w, beer is great, service top notch certianly the best kept beer in MK. Great to have Dan back, his management of the bar is first class.

Great food, great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Beer prices are very reasonable. Menu is very varied with plenty of great choices

Dan was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. Very attentive. Food was very tasy and fairly priced. Lovely fire where we could warm up on a winters evening.

Popped in with some friends for a bit of lunch. A wonderful young woman called Tallyn sorted us out and recommended some food for my friends. She was lovely, friendly, and hilarious. The mixed grill was awesome. The Nut and Squirrel was lovely to relax in. Thanks for a great time.

Just to say. When we visit the N&S Milton Keynes. Daniel is great with my husband always polite and chatty, as he is withh all who visit.

Such a warm and hospitable atmosphere, the staff were attentive to allergies and had a great service attitude, I'll definitely be coming back and would also be recommending the food.

Had another lovely evening meal with my girlfriend. Great atmosphere nice and cosy with the warming fire. Mixed grill, cooked how I like it and my lady said the steak and ale pie was hot and well filled with tasty steak. Capped off with a lovely apple and blackcurrant crumble, great staff made us feel welcome,and apologies for food wait as really busy.

Had a Christmas three course meal with my daughter and granddaughter absolutely delicious from starters prawn cocktail and beautiful turkey with all the trimmings meat was so tender and moist pudding mixed berries with custard and Lemon merang...staff very attractive and friendly had a perfect evening thank you so much merry Christmas 🎅

Booked for 30 people for our annual family dinner I have been over the years to all local restaurants but the nut and Squirral excelled not only a lovely meal, the service was fab thank you Harry, Danny and Daniel looked after us so well, and the setting ie Christmas crackers on tables, arm chair by Christmas tree and fireplace lovely family picture Thank you again xxx

Booked dinner for 4 people Sunday evening (7pm) we arrived just as the pub quiz started (no idea this was on!!!) speakers were positioned 'Everywhere' yes 4 speakers in the restaurant & the manager who was hosting the quiz was very loud, we were tired & hungry & unfortunately as we were with friends I didn't want to make a fuss to leave, ordered food at the bar the barstaff that served us thought he was funny & was not bothered with us, he even had the cheek to say to me when I picked up tissues 'this isn't weatherspoons' I will bring some over!!! We ordered food (unfortunately) & was told food would be out very soon, we waited an hour & the manager on the mile went in the kitchen & finally bought our food out, yes cold & very unappetising see pic below of my 'Beef & red wine lasagne' with a very unappetising salad 🤣

Just been for lunch. The Tandoori chicken skewers were very tasty and the mixed grill my husband had went down a treat.

Another lovely meal in a relaxing atmosphere. Staff are all very welcoming, lovely fire, super food, beer and wine, all for a reasonable price. Big car park. Will be back again &again.

My local pub where I am known and always visit with friends, this time I took my wife for a meal, we were greeted and shown to our table and we asked for our drinks, we then ordered our meal Starters, Mains and waited. They arrived in a timly manner and we were delighted with first of all the service, and then the presentation also the taste and amazing meal and the mains did not disappoint ether, Dan, the young man who served us was excellent at letting us know when to expect the meal and he delivered it very professionally, fully recommend the Nut & Squirrel for any time meals.

Popped in for a spontaneous anniversary meal. Welcomed by the wonderful loving Dan how quickly found us with a table. Had a massive laugh through the whole. Definitely worth the visit. Lovely place and atmosphere

Came here with my girlfriend for my first time visiting The Nut & Squirrel. Served By Dan /Daniel who after promply seated us at a table, talked us through the ordering process & then took our drink order at the bar. He was our server throughout our time here, was very kind, attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back as the food and overall atmosphere was lovely :)

Took our daughter for Sunday lunch. It's a new menu. Everything we had was really nice and good value. The kids portion caters to all ages, little bit much for our little one but she had a good go at it. Everyone was really friendly. We'll be back again soon as always.

I was treating my daughter to lunch for her birthday. I found the lunch menu to be of excellent value and choice. I had booked for 12.45 but we arrived early and they allowed us to go in for our meal ahead of time, which was great. Everyone was very friendly and we felt welcomed and relaxed. I loved that we were able to order and pay at the table. The food arrived hot and was very tasty. The service was fast and there wasn't a long wait between courses. I would definitely visit again.

We really enjoy our time at the Nut and Squirrel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They love the dog and he always gets a lit of attention. Water is brought over to the table for him to drink. Would recommend a visit.

Friday night drink and food for 3. Food came quickly and was fine (barring the tasteless peas). Lively loud music, which enhanced the atmosphere. Server was welcoming and polite.

Sound atmosphere, approachable manager, Ryan the bar manager was very witty and funny poured great drinks , food was great for pub grub .

Beer was nice & servers were nice but food is not even as per menu. Lamb koftas were missing the fiery jalapeño tzatziki & there was no chilli relish. It wasn’t even chargrilled. The crispy onions are clearly broken up tortillas. I asked for mayo & server gave me a near empty bottle! Also had crispy chicken ciabatta. Ciabatta was over done & hard on top, there was no chipotle chilli relish just regular relish of some kind. The chicken was breaded chunky / nugget type. And the order & pay at table didn’t work so had to go to the bar.

Actually I’d put 41/2 if it was possible, staff friendly and food good at a reasonable price too. Handy & lovely pub.

We wanted this pub to be better than the last one in this group. The food was good. But the service is very slow. Nice team of people serving. A few mistakes with our orders. Food was hot. We were a group of 13. The restaurant was empty. Only people drinking outside (it was a lovely day). We enjoyed it but we waited a long time for any food.

Popped in here today with my mates to have a catch up and some lunch. Food was spot on, we all had different food, from wings to curry, burger and halloumi wrap. All really good. We all said we wanted to give the best feedback to the front of house guy, he deserves a raise! Didn’t get his name but was about 12:00. Really nice and chilled, funny, helped my friend out, and really genuine. Had a bit of banter with us too. Great to see. I know Mondays must typically be quiet but he was running the bar and bringing food too!

Very quiet for a Saturday. Had to wait to be shown a table (only 2 other people eating). No atmosphere at all, silence!
