The Nut and Squirrel in Milton Keynes

me and my family came into the nut and squirrel today, we were greeted with big smiles and very proactive staff, the food came out within 20-25 minutes of ordering and all the food met and exceeded our expectations, thank you to all the staff that took care of us - we will be back

Helpful staff and they are always have a smile on there face they have an awesome new menu plus reasonable priced drinks.

Great service from Dan, and fantastic food. Wonderful atmosphere in the pub aswell!

Lovely friendly staff, Bar Manager was great at ‘donking’ a balloon on my youngest head to keep her happy and laughing when she had a melt down!! Funny lunch was great, thank you

Very nice and knowledgeable team, really happy with both Daniel,s who looked after us. Food was really well presented, I enjoyed my order but really really wanted my friends meal and the meals the went to the table opposite. It's great to see people passionate about customers without being pushy Thanks to the chefs / catering team our experienceet fully met our expectations

The service was excellent (from both Daniels) The chicken schnitzel was superb.

Great, tasty, reasonably priced food. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff happy, friendly and helpful. This was our first visit here but it certainly won't be our last.

Love the nut & squirrel being our local, the guys & girls are lovely & approachable. My little girl loves Dan W, as do the rest of us :)

Very good meal. Great service. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. The pub needs a little bit of work done. Like seats. But this doesn't stop the lovely staff and great food. Very good menu and prices are from 10.00 a maal. Two lovely men on duty nothing too much for them well done to both the Daniels, see you again soon.

We came to eat yesterday for my mother’s 70th birthday celebrations. Apologies, but I can’t remember their names but the chap and the new lady who served us did an incredible job. We had to order separately but the food came out promptly and the quality of the food was fantastic. We have been let down before with anniversaries and birthdays but not this time. Thank you so much for making my mother’s birthday very special. Do you manage to cater for 20+ people and we really appreciate the hard work.

Been there a good few times & always had a great experience.. Service was good & staff where very polite. Price was extremely reasonable as food was to a high standard & will visit again !!!

Food was delivered very fast but tasted amazing. Service was beyond what I expect as manager was polite, efficient and attended us a number of times to check we were happy with everything. 5/5.

Good service, pub was busy when we arrived and we were asked if we would like to sit in the bar area or restaurant- we chose restaurant. Daniel was polite, cheery and served us with our food.

I was with my family, Wonderful friendly service from the staff. Two of us had the mixed grill and all the Food was cooked to perfection. Nice music in the background. Toilet facilities were Impeccable.

Finished Work at 8pm on a Saturday and got here just in time before the kitchen closed, the two meals we had were the Beef and Red Wine Lasagne and the 8oz Rump Steak, the service at the bar was very good and Dan was amazing in the restaurant, looking the Menu we are definitely coming back Thank you Nut and Squirrel, we had 2 lovely meals

Came here for a Valentines day meal. Had a set menu but also could just order from the normal menu. We had the set menu which was brilliant and Talin cooked the steaks perfectly. Thank you

Lovely meal! Decided on the valentine special -2 steaks and a bottle of wine. Didn't expect much as it was very busy, thoroughly enjoyed our meal!!! Shout out to our chef Talin!! Thank you!! keep doing what you're doing!! It's fantastic!! We shall be back 😀

Food is great. Chef knows how to cook a steak! Harry and Dan know how to keep hand pulled real ale which is wonderful. Great pub with good atmosphere!!

Celebrated family birthdays and can’t thank all the staff enough for such a great time. All the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us all. The atmosphere was great as was the food. We had an amazing buffet selection and really tasty. Would 100% recommend the nut and squirrel. Thank you to all for making our celebrations so good.

Friendly staff food is yum but I find the toilets smell really bad smells like urine on the carpet as you enter the toilets and over heard someone say there was sick in the urinels that was still there from the other day

Celebrated a 73rd birthday, food good, there were a few items out of stock. Server was friendly and overall a nice place to eat.

Dan was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. Very attentive. Food was very tasy and fairly priced. Lovely fire where we could warm up on a winters evening.

Popped in with some friends for a bit of lunch. A wonderful young woman called Tallyn sorted us out and recommended some food for my friends. She was lovely, friendly, and hilarious. The mixed grill was awesome. The Nut and Squirrel was lovely to relax in. Thanks for a great time.

Booked a buffet to celebrate some family birthday days. Excellent service, team could not do enough to help us and made us feel welcome. Food was amazing, all our guest shared how tasty all the dishes were. Phenomenal experience all round!

Great little place went for a pint the other day and was met by Ben who was an awesome guy and such a laugh would highly recommend if your looking for a great drinking experience

Just to say. When we visit the N&S Milton Keynes. Daniel is great with my husband always polite and chatty, as he is withh all who visit.

Saturday night was quiz night. Last Saturday was in aid of MK Prostate Cancer Support. Great quizmaster, great atmosphere, good fun and very entertaining evening.

Went there on a Saturday in January 4 of us. Food was fresh n lovely! Drinks was nice n cold! N the staff n service was brilliant. We was all made feel welcome 🙂 There was 2 young guys on n there very perlite. Definitely will be visiting again soon. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Although it's our usual weekend spot, it’s generally a fantastic place to hang out with friends and enjoy great hospitality, delicious food, and drinks.

Have stopped in here for lunchtime food a few times and decided that instead of having a takeout, we’d try the curry night. Fantastic. Food was great, company was good and staff really friendly. Definitely going to be our local, we’ve not had a bad meal here yet.

Had another lovely evening meal with my girlfriend. Great atmosphere nice and cosy with the warming fire. Mixed grill, cooked how I like it and my lady said the steak and ale pie was hot and well filled with tasty steak. Capped off with a lovely apple and blackcurrant crumble, great staff made us feel welcome,and apologies for food wait as really busy.

Had a Christmas three course meal with my daughter and granddaughter absolutely delicious from starters prawn cocktail and beautiful turkey with all the trimmings meat was so tender and moist pudding mixed berries with custard and Lemon merang...staff very attractive and friendly had a perfect evening thank you so much merry Christmas 🎅

Booked for 30 people for our annual family dinner I have been over the years to all local restaurants but the nut and Squirral excelled not only a lovely meal, the service was fab thank you Harry, Danny and Daniel looked after us so well, and the setting ie Christmas crackers on tables, arm chair by Christmas tree and fireplace lovely family picture Thank you again xxx

Booked dinner for 4 people Sunday evening (7pm) we arrived just as the pub quiz started (no idea this was on!!!) speakers were positioned 'Everywhere' yes 4 speakers in the restaurant & the manager who was hosting the quiz was very loud, we were tired & hungry & unfortunately as we were with friends I didn't want to make a fuss to leave, ordered food at the bar the barstaff that served us thought he was funny & was not bothered with us, he even had the cheek to say to me when I picked up tissues 'this isn't weatherspoons' I will bring some over!!! We ordered food (unfortunately) & was told food would be out very soon, we waited an hour & the manager on the mile went in the kitchen & finally bought our food out, yes cold & very unappetising see pic below of my 'Beef & red wine lasagne' with a very unappetising salad 🤣

Just been for lunch. The Tandoori chicken skewers were very tasty and the mixed grill my husband had went down a treat.

Another lovely meal in a relaxing atmosphere. Staff are all very welcoming, lovely fire, super food, beer and wine, all for a reasonable price. Big car park. Will be back again &again.

My local pub where I am known and always visit with friends, this time I took my wife for a meal, we were greeted and shown to our table and we asked for our drinks, we then ordered our meal Starters, Mains and waited. They arrived in a timly manner and we were delighted with first of all the service, and then the presentation also the taste and amazing meal and the mains did not disappoint ether, Dan, the young man who served us was excellent at letting us know when to expect the meal and he delivered it very professionally, fully recommend the Nut & Squirrel for any time meals.

Came here with my girlfriend for my first time visiting The Nut & Squirrel. Served By Dan /Daniel who after promply seated us at a table, talked us through the ordering process & then took our drink order at the bar. He was our server throughout our time here, was very kind, attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back as the food and overall atmosphere was lovely :)
