Clocktower in Milton Keynes

New to the area so decided on a bar crawl to find a decent new local. The Clocktower is definitely up there, great value for money and great staff. Leanne was really helpful with shot deals. Will be returning, 3 baby guinesses for £6! Yes please

What a grate place to come nice food, good beer, and nice staff. The food is reasonably price as well as the deals they have on every day make it worth while coming in

I have drank in the clock tower for a number of years but today's experience was shocking the (bar man) has got no people skills

This is a warm and welcoming pub with a great ambience.The staff are all friendly and helpful and the food is great value for money. Lianne knows her stuff and very efficient and that includes the rest of the staff as well

The Clocky is my local drinking establishment and is a PROPER local: 1. Reasonable priced drinks 2. Excellent deals on food - especially Wednesday Burgers 3. Craicing, and kindred spirited, customers! The (majority of) staff aren't too bad, either! I always feel welcome and completely relaxed when I visit. Well done to The Clock Tower and all concerned in the day to day running. However, Greene King "Area" and "UK" Management need to improve substantially and focus on customers with CLEAR ADVERTISING - NO bull$h1t 🤷‍♂️😮

Highly recommended - we often go here for food and drinks and the menu has lots of nice choices and deals and is reasonably priced. Staff are really friendly and service is fast.

We stumbled on this pub when visiting Milton Keynes for the day and googled for local pubs serving food. As it was a Sunday evening we weren't sure what we would find. First impressions from the car park were positive. The pretty hanging flower baskets were welcoming. Staff were polite and helpful. We chose to sit outside where there was plenty of space and ordered food that was brought out quickly and was delicious. It was also very cheap! If we are nearby again we will definitely be back.

Very welcoming pub/restaurant, we have visited this establishment on a number of times for a family meal and not once have we been disappointed. Great value for money, staff always very friendly that always make sure things are okay with us and the place is always clean. Our last visit, 18th July, we got there told of our online reservation but was told that due to staff shortages they are not serving food. However they said that where it was only 3 of us this time they could fit us in. Now not many places would do this and it was very refreshing. Highly recommend this place for a very nice, great value for money meal and a nice selection of drinks too.

When we arrived, the only tables available were high tables with really high chairs that were really difficult to get on. I don't understand why pubs feel the need to have these high tables as everyone was choosing to sit at the standard tables if there was one available. The food was quite nice and good value as we had gone for the build your own burger option. However my food was missing an item. The servers were all friendly. The ladies toilets were in very scruffy condition and clearly in need of a good clean and replacement doors for the cubicles.

Spent the whole night playing darts and chatting with friends last Friday but we regularly visit at different time of the day and love it. Always feel comfortable (unlike other pubs). The guys and girls that work here and run the pub are amazing. Food is fantastic. Our kids love to come here for dinner aswell. Clocktower, please don't change

Staff are very rude and swear will swear at you

Service behind the bar is awful. Euros final and 3 staff working behind the bar when they knew it would be busy. One women started on the bar and 15 minutes later she left for a cigarette break while people were waiting for over an hour for a drink. Definitely need to re assess their service.

A quick thirst quenching pit stop on a day too hot to cycle. Excellent recommendation by the bar team, hit the spot that others don't reach. And there are two darts boards. A lovely community sports hub. Bar menu looks costly effective and tempting, I'll be back :D

Great dog friendly pub! We were only in Milton Keynes for the day and came across the Clocktower to watch the football. Food prices were amazing and the deals and the drinks were also cheaply priced. Would visit again if in MK.

came in for some birthday drinks michelle was brilliant. Kept us served all night would highly recommend this place. thank you to the team and michelle for your diligent service it was an intergral part to making this a great night

We were recommended this place. We decided to have Sunday lunch. It is very close to our home so it should have been a rare find. It wasnt. Came to the bar we were waived to any table. Chose Sunday lunch. Food was cold. The meat was tough. No horse radish. Not that anyone was interested. The place really could do with a clean up.

Good vibe pub for the England Ireland six nations. Child friendly Saturday afternoon. Decent Guinness and child menu food was standard but good.

The food was great!! My husband had a venison pie, with a proper crusty pie, not the shabby puff pustry pie. The slow cooked venison would melt in your mouth. I had a Sunday roast. The beef was very tender and the potatoes very tasty. Honestly, the best pub food. We decided then to have a plum crumble for dessert. Very nice, not too sweet. The sweetness came mainly from the fruit, rather than from the added sugar

The food came quick and hot and was delicious my partner and kids loved there meals and mine was beautiful definitely recommend

Came down for a meal during the six nations, had lovely service from the lady behind the bar, my food arrived quick and was nice and hot, the atmosphere in the pub was brilliant as well - lots of locals showing to support there preferred teams, credits to the team!

Have never eaten in this pub before although we have lived in the area over 20 years, our local that we use was not serving food so we thought we would give it a go, we were not let down, the food was A1 the staff were brilliant and friendly so there is not much more i can say other than you will see us again.

We had our Christmas work do here. The manager and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was brilliant. Steak cooked perfect. Service time great. Will definitely book again.

Great local pub Really good value for money food

Nice place to visit and has a good selection of food and drink. Gets a bit full when footy etc is on, but shouldn't stop you from going. There is a large car park out the front that is free. The Staff are friendly and helpful. Not much more I can say really, try it out for yourself.

Had the "Wednesday £5 burger deal" Wow. WOW!! Tasty, delicious, and the portion of chips beat me! Well hosted and served by Andy, and excellently cooked by Adam - thanks gents!!

My husband and I have eaten here several times and are never disappointed with the build your own burger! It is always absolutely delicious. The fries are always hot and the perfect texture. I love their onion rings, they're the best I've ever had. The Jamaica sauce, I can't quite remember what it was called exactly, on the chicken wings is fantastic. The prices are very reasonable as well!

Fabulous food a little slow service, but we are happy to wait as it came out with friendly smily face with a thank you for waiting. We was worried on 1st visit but never been let down 👍🏼 try it !

I came to the clocktower today and was served by a lovely man called Andy....who was very professional and welcoming I ordered the vegan filets and my partner ordered the hunters chicken, both cooked to perfection and they were amazing. Complements to the chef. We will be retuning.

I have just returned from enjoying an evening meal with 3 friends. It was my first visit & I am an extremely fussy eater. My quorn meal was absolutely delicious, & the other 3 meals looked amazing & I’m ensured they tasted as good as they looked. The prices were so affordable, service was spot on and we will definitely be returning…. Thank you.

As schools on strike bought my daughter for lunch at the clock tower. Daughters Steak was cooked perfectly rare by John, always rely on his expertise in the kitchen and this is all backed up with Natasha who runs the front of house with a smile and great service. Last week decided to go to the clock tower with a few friends and our children for a mid week meal, upon our arrival we was greeted with a friendly smile, she introduced herself as Jane and took care of us throughout our visit, I was most impressed by how accommodating and understanding Jane and Jon were, lovely family friendly pub would highly recommend

Clocktower (Clocky) is truly an unmatched pub. It's got everything; great pint selection, live sports for all occasions and not to forget the staff - easy enough to say they make the place and it wouldn't be the same without them. Just started drinking in the clocktower after moving to the area. I have to say the service is always impeccable and the staff are wonderful every visit! Just come back from there this evening after a lovely meal served by Jane. Perfect as always

Just bn told 1 hour wait 4 food ! Ok I can work around that ! Now bn told the kitchen can’t do me a slice ov toast with my all day breakfast!! Pubs are struggling !! Well they don’t do themselves any favours do they ???? Walked out

Very poorly ran pub the manager doesn't seem to care about the staff or what's going on. Today boxing day 22 a massive day for football and they closed at 7pm because of lack of staff, the lovely lady behind the bar could not apologize more about it. We all know people get sick or whatever it was due to but on a boxing day you make sure you have enough staff to cover things. This is not the first time it's closed early the manager likes to shut it early as he doesn't want to be there past a certain time even when it's busy as a local I want to support my local. Plus he has sent away entertainment even when they have turned up. This place used to be fantastic but since the new manager it's gone to pot. As a local I support my local but hard to do at times. The staff are amazing at what they do and always so friendly but management needs to be sorted out. Boxing day 22 is when they lost 2 to 3 grand easy and a lot of loyal people.

3 of us had a cracking meal here. Gammon & Chips, Chipshop Special and a Double beefburger. Well cooked, flavoursome, hot, couldn't fault any of it. The staff were absolutely excellent. Friendly and professional, they made the evening. 2 locals offered to help my elderly mother-in-law as we were leaving. I can't recommend this pub highly enough.

Decent pub with everything you'd want in a pub nice selection of drinks, plenty of seating inside and out, few TVS for the sports and reasonable prices. Was pleased to see booking tables for the World Cup to avoid disappointment

Nice pub. Went for a lunch with my work mate and we loved it. Chicken wings was realy nice, with nice peri peri sauce, Hunter fries and onion rings. I will definitely be back with more colleagues on Friday for a few beers and big plate of wings!! See you soon!!

Sports pub with value. Loads of parking and very accessible. All sporting events shown with lots of fruit machines and a dedicated darts area. Good sized paved rear garden area. Large menu of standard pub grub, all tasty and hot at a good price. Staff always friendly.

Sunday roast…. I, like others in the pub on the day left most of my plate….carrots-raw, broccoli- equally awful, roast potato’s would have been ok had I had them a day earlier. Yorkshire pudding felt like I was eating a tyre. A completely forgettable experience.

Called in for lunch on Sunday and pleasantly surprised. Hard working and very pleasant staff, clean pub and very event grub for 4 adults and a child. Will definitely be going back in the future.

We had a great time at lunchtime today, good food, nice pub atmosphere, decent food which was tasty and actually hot (not warm like other places!) We had the All Day Breakfast, which was on a deal of two for £11.99,what you got what a decent hearty portion,lovely sausages(!) I'll definitely be going back!

Shocked to see all the good reviews. Ordered food and waited 50 minutes to arrive. Burger was pink and uncooked, pie was clearly microwaved, soft and soggy and the Smash I picked up on the fork. Sent it back and got a refund. Absolutely disgusting. Table next to me also sent theirs back

Took grandad out for lunch today. Clean, spacious and nice and cool out of the sun. The staff were friendly polite and very helpful. The food was delicious, fresh,piping hot and generous portions. You get sooo many chicken wings my son had to get a carry out. Would heartily recommend and will definitely be going again. Excellent value for money.

Ordered common egg chips and egg one egg over cooked other undercooked tomato was raw not even grilled not good at all
