This is my first time coming here. And the food is very good. And the workers are very smiling

Had a wonderful meal at the Red House yesterday lunch time. Food was delicious and service from Henrique was great- he was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely return :)

100%food is always Cooked as you wait and friendly welcome always..

Was really dissapointed, haven't had for ages and chicken was dry like cardboard and pitta was hard. Not enjoyable at all and think was overcharged. Won't be having again.

Not very good experience, was looking forward to lunch. Pricey, staff looked tired. Decor good but didn't reflect the food. Will not visit again. I don't live in the area, but have friends in Newport and Telford.

First time to order a large lamb shish kebab. The lamb was absolutely awful chewy and inedible. Unfortunately the bin has my £11 food.

Went to lunch at the Red House Milton Keynes Father’s Day for Sunday carvery on 16 th June. Recently change ownership . NOT GOOD., can’t give less than one star.The carvery meet, roast beef could not be eaten really , could not be eaten, full stop. It was poor was quality, was over cooked and very tough .the cabbage was, under cooked in fact I’m sure was raw ( just hot water poured over the raw cabbage) I paid for our so called lunch £69.90 for the two of us and on the way out I passed a member of waiting staff having his meal, I mentioned I found the meet uneatable his comment Yes a bit chewy!!! ….understatement!!!!. Don’t Go Her.

The fellas are really nice in here. We love the stony special and the donor kebabs are lovely. A really good take out. Best in the area.

Great Wonderful experience. The bossman gave very huge portion of doner meat which I loved. I will come back again for sure.

Rude staff ,i asked for donner kebab from the stand staff told me in rude way 30 min to be ready and started talking to his friends in turkish ,i felt very angry ,the cabbage was old ,

Great food of good quality and great prices. Service excellent, customer given first class service. Travelling as I do this is truly a 5***** establishment a credit to the manager and the group.

Yes we went again. What better recommendation can we make? of us ear;ly Saturday evening. As usual the staff were brilliant, the ambience was great, the food was great and the price was good too. Well up to standard. The roasts were on but we all went A La Carte and they were super Highly recommended but don't crowd us out!

Our various family that live around the world have found this kebab shop to be the best they have even had. Hands down.

Today a friend and I decided to come for lunch after we previously came a few weeks ago and really enjoyed. On our first visit there were no issues, service was great and food was perfect. However, when we came today we were greeted by a waitress, who was leaving, who then told us to go around the corner, to be served and seated by another member of staff. This appeared to be the manager (just guessing as he was doing paperwork) who did not greet us so we requested a table. He walked us over and then asked if we were above 18, because now apparently “You can’t be in the premises if you are under 18 even if you’re just coming to eat”. His entire demeanour was off, he seemed uninterested, and quite frustrated that we came (the restaurant was empty). My friend who is 18 gave his ID and was told “I cant accept that”. After looking again at his ID we were told to “just go and sit down”. We immediately got up and left after being treated with such disrespect. If there is a clear rule stating that “You must be over 18/accompanied by someone 18+” I would like to see it.

Friendly pub restaurant with great food at even better prices! Loads of easy parking and a fast service. We had the carvery and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the pub.

WAS GOOD…once. Always as ordered, consistently great quality. Was. Then a completely new team started serving food. People started asking questions and the answer was: the old team is on holiday but soon found out its maybe not the case. Lamb was soft, melting before, now is chevy, stringy. Chicken was soft and had good flavour. Now, plain spices cooked to dry and had to be soaked in sauce to make edible. Naan straight to the bin. After few tries, this place is no longer the best kebab in town. Starts taken away for dishonesty too.

We have been trialing various roasts across MK. We have eaten here before, a few months back but todays roast was absolutely fantastic! I am not a huge turkey fan but I decided to try some today and it was beautiful! So moist and tender. Definitely worth a visit! Good price and quality, excellent value and delicious tasting. What more do you need?

Very nice clean and airy, good food..

Had a bad start that just continued throughout our meal. Gave lady our name and booking, she repeated our name 3 times...saying it wrong every time after being corrected every time!!! We were told our table wasn't ready yet but we're eventually offer a smaller table that we could squeeze onto!!! Needless to say we refused that one. When we got our booked table, our first round of drinks were brought and a beer was spilt on my husband. Our waitress was very apologetic and appeared to be very nervous. Apology accepted...it could happen to anyone, what we did not appreciate was the young man who came over to apologise and told us she was a new waitress and would be spoken to!!! Really NO need for a comment like that!!! My nephews starter and main course were delivered together??? And then had another young waitress come over who thought she was rather funny with her comments, we didn't find her funny at all. Sadly we won't be back, apart from the young lady who spilt the drink, the others put us off all together...our family get together was ruined 😡😡😡

The red house has improved in every possible way,excellent food & great choice, very friendly relaxed atmosphere,very few places achieve this level of excellence,these guy's have nailed it 👍

Tasty kebab, friendly staff and good value.

I am writing to say about our latest visit to the Red House. We have always enjoyed our meals with you but have to say we were very disappointed on our visit for Sunday lunch on 2nd July..I booked well in advance to bring my Mum, Brother & his partner with my husband & me. Singing praises of your establishment & food. We arrived & the first disappointment was being sat in the bar, when I said how long before our visit I had booked & expected to be in the restaurant I was asked "did you say you wanted to sit in the restaurant"? Next came the wine when asked if you have rose the waitress said " I don't the colours of the wines" My Mum asked to pay for the drinks as my brother & I were splitting the bill, the waitress came to take her payment in the middle of us eating out main course! Next the beef on the carvery, it was very tough & I has to ask for steak knives to cut I had to ask for some turkey for one family member as she could not eat it. I felt so upset about the visit as I had brought my family singing praises only to have a great disappointment. I have written to The Red House directly without reply.

Food always good , shame the prices change every time you go in

We visited this pub/restaurant on experience along time ago. We did try booking online, which showed no availability, however we did call, and they said no problem, and was virtually empty on arrival (it was 3pm in afternoon, so not an expected busy period), so don’t be fooled by the website. On arrival we were greeted by the gentleman we’d just spoke on the phone too. He was very bubbly, pleasant and friendly. But then we seemed to spend most of our meal by a young waitress. At first we just thought she was trying to be funny, but I fact she came over a bit abrupt, not friendly at all, and this continued throughout our stay, so was somewhat disappointed by her attitude, clearly needs more training, as her gentleman colleague was very pleasant. The food was nice, hot, well presented and there was a good variety of choice. We will try again, just hope for a different server.

A pub with restaurant, we (friend and I) visited on the 2nd July 2023 had the roast 'Sunday lunch '. One of the best we have ever had , a selection of meats beef, pork, turkey all served with fresh cooked vegetables all PERFECT really PERFECT. Desert , apple crumble with custard all washed down with a pint of beer . It could not be bettered!!! Staff friendly , glad to see you!! Can't wait to visit again

Staying nearby at the Ramada to see MUSE at the National Bowl, we decided to have dinner at a nearby pub . There were several to choose from within walking distance but after looking at the pics and previous reviews on T/A we chose The Red House . And we are so glad we did ! Food is amazing , the pub is inviting and the staff are fantastic . Full credit to Dec and Leah ( sorry if I’ve spelt it wrong ) as they are a credit to this fine pub . They made us feel welcome from the outset and took time to have a chat and a bit of banter . Something which is lacking in pubs these days . If we travel Up this way again then we’ll definitely go to The Red House and suggest you do too !

Do not be put off by the exterior. It is lovely inside. the service and food are both excellent. Very warm welcome and comfortable. We had rump steak and it was one of the best we have ever had.

Friendly greeting, lovely atmosphere and the most delicious food we have eaten for a very long time. Steak and mushroom suet pudding with mashed potato, lovely vegetables and lashings of delicious gravy, yum. I ordered from the website. 2 super sized Sunday roasts. I paid for the meal and delivery . 10 minutes later a guy called John contacted me . He said sadly the delivery driver wasn't available and I was able to collect the take away. I declined this offer . John said he was very very sorry and the online site should not be accepting deliveries. He said he was refunding my card instantly. This was the 5th of September. I have contacted head office. I have emailed. I have called red house . Head office chooses to ignore my emails and red house tells me anything to get me off the phone. But guess what .Still no refund 27.80 for absolutely nothing.. Big bunch of lying scammers.

Fantastic lunch as usual, great service and quality food. Good draught beer & cider we missed this so much during the lockdown.

I have known this place for 70 years and it has changed massively sine it was a bar, snug and off-licence window. marquee in the garden looked lovely but we ate indoors as it was not too warm. Covid precautions in place and we had a isolated table. Food was average and service a little slow but it was a Friday night. This was made up for by the waitress who was charming and interacted very well with my 5 year old granddaughter.

Unprofessional manager (sun 22/08/21) Johnny the manager was very Unprofessional, his attitude towards members of his staff was totally unacceptable. I heard from the toilet the very Unprofessional manner in that he was belittling a member of staff who was training. It was not nice to hear or see when leaving the toilet. I had an issue with a plate in which his response was nothing. In regards to the carvery it was of a very low standard. The meat was good but the rest was terrible. The roast potatoes were very dry and chewy and the veg was also very dry and hard. I wouldn't recommend to others until drastic changes are made. But on a good note the waitresses were very nice and done well to cater for us as a very big family. So well done to them.

When ringing to request a table, Medi could not have done more for us. We explained that we were struggling to find somewhere to eat in our location, and wondered if we were to get a taxi to the restaurant whether they could accommodate us. Well accommodate us they did! Medi greeted us at our taxi and took us straight to our table. The customer service from himself and Helen was exceptional all evening and the food was wonderful. We will definitely be visiting The Red House again when we return. They could not have done any more for us. The restaurant also has a fab outdoor seating area which was lovely to retire to after dinner with our cocktails.

We visited this restaurant for an evening meal. We didn't know the area so had rung ahead to book. Medhi (the manager?) Greeted us from our taxi. We then had attentive and faultless service from Helen. The food was incredible, in fact the belly pork was the best ive ever eaten. If you are ever in this area this is the place to eat.

Booked this restaurant which we have used many times before we’ll in advance. When we turned up we were told that most of the beers and some of the wines had been sold out due to a private function. A courtesy call earlier in the day would have allowed us to rearrange our celebratory birthday meal. As it was we were left with nowhere to go at short notice on a Saturday night.Not impressed and will never trust them again.

Great tasting Donner , sauces and salad.

Afternoon Tea I booked this for my friends birthday it was absolutely amazing. The staff were really helpful when I booked and when we arrived they were amazing and so attentive. The food WELL what can I say nothing short of absolutely delicious and the portions size was exceptional. My friend was really happy with everything.Would definitely go back there!!

Best kebab you can get in the area

The surroundings were really nice and clean and fresh the staff were professional very friendly. The carvery was absolutely outstanding I had a very vegetarian option and I had so much food it was unbelievable! I had a thoroughly nice meal and also felt excellent value for money. I would definitely go again.Indoors and outdoors at their surroundings were very relaxing.

Sunday roast meats were tasty but the rest of it was horrible, roast potatoes tasted like they had been frozen and reheated, vegetables were very bland and Yorkshire puddings tasted of absolutely nothing, most of us left most of our meals. Nobody came mid meal to check if everything was ok and when they took the plates away they asked how it was and when we said not great, the waitress just said I’m sorry about that. I asked for tankqueray gin but was charged for the most expensive Hendricks, we asked for cream with a dessert it was brought with custard. Meal came to over £100 and it definitely wasn’t worth that. We have been a few times and always say the same after we won’t return, but always think things may have improved so we will give it another go, but each time we leave feeling disappointed and hungry. Definitely won’t return after this visit.

Nice saroundigs, relaxed atmosphere in the garden. Beer tasted a little off with beer lines not being cleaned regularly. Wine should be served in larger glasses to allow for soda water to go in if one would like to have spritzer.

Went in for a drink after lunch, had the summer punch, was amazing and great service from James behind the bar, 10/10 would recommend

We were in the area with two teenage grandchildren in need of food! We checked availability and menu, which were both OK. The welcome was friendly, menu had great choices and prices reasonable. Service was very good. The food was excellent with really generous portions. We look forward to going back.

Father day lunch.. Was really looking forward to it.. but the service wasn’t great, chips arrived but no sauces for nearly 10 mins even after asking number lis time! The roast was ok but the plates are tiny so it just looked like a piled muck! Could be better presented! Deserts tasted like they were from Iceland! Overall very poor for what we paid.

Absolutely delicious lunch with my husband. We sat in the beautiful beer garden and both had a salad. Portion sizes were great, service was fast and the staff very friendly. We will definitely be coming back!!
