Fantastic local, we attended the quiz night which was great fun. Rachel and Beth were great and made us feel very welcome. Beer is excellent and great value for money!

Booked a table for 7 for dinner first time we have eaten here but visit regularly for drinks. Rachael took our booking so we had a table available. The food was amazing, really tasty, price was reasonable too. The service was excellent, food arrived hot and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Great atmosphere and all the staff are really lovely and can not do enough for you. I would definitely recommend!!

I went to meet a mate I had only met once in the past but had social media contact with. When I arrived the pub was warm and welcoming. The person I went to meet had left me and I had no money to get home n was in the toilet letting people know where I was incase of a bad situation. The land lady or manager Rachel was also in the toilet and I explained what I was doing. I also told her this was the first time I had been out since dec 23. She made me feel safe and told me if I needed her help to let her know. She knew the people I went to meet and said they were lovely. But she could see my anxiety. She said she would make sure I got home if I needed it. She ordered me a taxi n paid for it without hesitation. She didn’t make me ask or feel awkward. It was a straight up I will get u home. I can’t be more grateful and thankful. I had a great night. More pub landlords/ladies should take note from this. Cos I’ve met a few horrible ones in my time that don’t even look at u if ur a new face. Thank u Rachel xx

Wow what a gem of a pub! Lots of parking, cosy inside, staff welcoming and food delicious. Xmas get together for 12 was fabulous thanks to Gemma and her team. We will be back!

We made a last minute stop for food and drinks. We received such a lovely, warm welcome. The food was cracking. Tasty homemade burgers, pizzas and chunky chips. We would be in here all the time if we lived nearer. Loved your ‘ gonks ‘ too.

Visiting MK. Sunday lunch 14thMay. Super friendly and helpful staff. Incredibly dog-friendly, choice of tables, sat inside with dog, and ate a Sunday lunch for £12 that was 6 veg, roasties, Yorkshire, stuffing, chicken, nice gravy, that would have cost50%more at the Barge at Woolstone, where we would have had to sit outside due to having our dog. Tasty vegetarian or vegan options too. Can't fault it.

Great family pub, love the atmosphere, friendly staff, friendly customers, play area for the children, pool table, darts board, loads of parking. The pub has some life back in it, and it’s great to see. Live bands, karaoke, disco bingo, food truck Fridays, charity events, starting up the kitchen again. Love this place

The location near the canal we were traveling on made going here an easy choice. Everything about the menu, food quality, and service was pretty much standard pub fare. Portions ever so slightly smaller and service a bit better than average.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere. Supper club is available on weekends from 8-10pm if you are out drinking and get peckish.

We attended a lunchtime wake here, and found the pub - eventually - tucked off the beaten track. The staff were very friendly and there was plenty of outside seating in the scorching temperatures. The queue at the bar was quite long but they got through everyone fairly quickly. The buffet they laid on was just excellent - no shortage of food here. Would like to return on a different occasion.

Total crap food was luke warm but chips stone cold staff moaned under their breath on taking meals away was crap all round and building looks like house

Lived in MK for 30 years and never been here. Tonight there was a live 5 piece band playing classic rock so I went. Comfortable bar area, very attractive lighting and overall decor, free Wi-Fi, good large tarmac car park and very attentive landlord and landlady serving clean tasty beers like Bombardier and Directors. Yes they do food too so I will go back and check it out. I may have found myself a very pleasant pub in one of MK'S old villages.

Visited early evening 24/5/16. Friendly staff, lots of (younger than me) locals in. Despite CAMRAs Whatpub showing evening meals & the 'Food served all day' advertised outside, the only food available was just basic toasties. Rather expensive too...a pint of Charles Wells ale & a toastie £8.25! Recommend the wider choice of ales at £3 pint over the road at the Victoria Inn (no weekday food).

Staff are friendly and welcoming. The landlords curries are superb. Good friendly village local, always a good laugh when we go in.

Food was ok, be aware on Friday, Saturday and Sunday food was only available between 8pm and 11pm Service was great, very friendly

Popped into the Prince Albert for a working lunchtime drink We were greeted by landlady, most probably the landlady. Service was quick and to the point. The pub was immaculate, didn't see anybody eating but they advertised food on chalk boards, huge drinks selection. This is a lovely pub in a lovely part of Milton Keynes. Give it a try :)

This place has a reputation for good food but only at lunch time - no evening meals. Its in a nice location, has a car park and is pleasant. Nice folk, nice bar staff, pool table, outside seating, good real ales. What more do you need?
