What a brilliant idea all your favourite meats and cheeses in a box to take on the beach with you. I had cheese and ham platter with pickles it was delicious .Service friendly and very reasonably priced

Stumbled across this hidden gem whilst walking along the front. Fab atmosphere with cool vibe and really great coffee (peaky blenders). Had the crab fries which were delicious although they stop serving food at 230pm so made it just in time. Service was great and friendly. Really great little business compared to the usual bigger names too.

Personally think this is the best fish and chips in Hastings

A wonderful pub, great home cooked food using local produce and selection of beers on tap with friendly service. Will return.

Good beer but young girl behind bar unable to pour pints then goes outside to have a spliff not impressed

Superb. Best fish I've ever eaten out. Beautiful plaice and skate both with samphire butter and excellent veg cooked al dente. Mackerel with fresh tomatoes was also a hit. Lovely, relaxed vibe with friendly and efficient service. We will be. Back!

10/10 service on the busiest day of the year for these guys. Team was super friendly and attentive, orders taken swiftly and food came soooooo much quicker then expected given how busy it was. Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough, will definitely return. Thanks a bunch From the biker that fixed the table upstairs 😁✌🏻

Travelled from Maidstone to visit Hastings and decidet to try the Promonade fish bar.It did not disappoint.Service and staff were 10 out of 10,the food was piping hot and the portion size was very generous too!The place was nice and clean Would definitely recommend.

Friendly, prompt, efficient service, and excellent food, reasonably priced. Fish was fresh, and chips were well-cooked. Good portion sizes. This was our first visit - I don't think it will be our last!! One tip - book a table, as it gets very crowded (sign of its popularity).

Second time of visiting this cafe, sat outside which is perfect. Staff are really friendly, we ordered jacket potatoes with cheese & beans, came with a side salad... absolutely delicious best jacket I've had in a long time and salad crisp and fresh

We visited on bank holiday Monday and couldn't work out why it was much emptier than surrounding places- possibly because they weren't doing eat out to help out, however it meant we got a window table. Food was fairly quick to come out and the fish was tasty, the chips were probably a little on the over done side but I like them crispy. Shared bottles of ketchup and tartare sauce- luckily we had brought our own hand sanitiser. Overall fairly decent meal, wouldn't rush back and looking at the huge queues in other places I wonder if other people know something we didn't.

Poor service by a male staff member on 29 Aug 24 around 1515hrs Asked for salt pepper, was informed to go and get it at the main door Used to get better service eating inside outside your not looked time after much Onions were not cooked on hot plates, but food was fair quality Prices above average if i was waited on and the food cooked better don't mind paying extra
