We stopped here as we'd just come out of the aquarium and fancied eating some fish! It's a small restaurant, so will probably get busy on weekends and bank holidays, but we went in on a Tuesday and it was very quiet. I had the cod and they were kind enough to remove the skin for me (one of my top "icks" is skin on fish!). My friend and her son both had the haddock. The chips were not your typical chip shop chips but the more fashionable triple cooked variety, but they were still good. The fish was excellent. Slightly more expensive that here in Folkestone (probably by around £4 more per meal), but you have to expect that in a town that still has a pull for tourists. The young lady who served us was lovely as well. I would definitely come here again.

nice area, big space, plenty of seating, welcoming. broken toilet facilities, could do with a make over. the chicken pie was horrible. the chops were well cooked but tasted a little tangy. the burger was ok, average basic meat. the fish was nice with good batter. the sausage was very pale, it wasnt good quality. sadly we wouldnt return

Busy Saturday lunch time but we managed to get a table for 2 on the balcony. Watch out for the seagulls though! Service was efficient and friendly. Food was big portions, tasty chips (though too crispy for my co-diner) and a lovely fresh piece of fish.

I had a medium pie of cod tonight take away, not only small, I've seen bigger fish fingers. It was the worst cider I've eaten, to me it was re-fried and wasn't cod and £8.90 for a total rip off

The food is really good quality. I have tried few halal breakfast cafe and this was on point! Egg yolk still runny as it supposed to be with hard white! Sausage super taste and soft and even the turkey bacon was a delish! Overall great place for brunch in the middle of the nature! Definitely recommend it!

Review from May day Jack in the Green 2025. How this small bakery manages the volume of people who pass through it on this day is fairly astounding. Kids loved the legendary meringues and green man gingerbread biscuits. Vegan sausage roll was delicious as was the cappuccino and tea... The guy who served me deserves a medal so polite, fantastic service under pressure with a massive queue!! Thank you to him (Monday 5th 2025 a.m) This bakery has it drilled down and the selection of breads, baked goods, sandwiches and posh bits and bobs throughout it's nooks and crannies brilliant.
