Promenade Fsh Bar in Hastings

Read some good reviews so we tried it out and were delighted the chips were fantastic the fish was really fresh and portions were generous the service was good and quicker than a well known burger chain (yuk) Highly recommended !

There is a great choice of fish and chip shops in Hastings and we were looking to eat in. We looked along the front and this one had window seating, we noticed that as well as people already eating inside, there was also a queue for take away outside, so that made our minds up. We were not disappointed. Service was quick and very friendly. Fish and chip were freshly cooked and delicious. My husband especially liked the curry sauce. We are going home tomorrow but if we are down this way again would definitely have fish and chips here again.

By the 🌊 cosy and with delicious food! Highly recommend and especially off season when is not crowded. We will definitely return as a family.

Excellent table service, perfect for families, delicious and piping hot food without a hefty price tag. The affordability of the menu was a pleasant surprise.

Fishtastic. I had large cod and chips, wifey went for sausage and batter and chips. Both were amazing. Huge bit of cod. Fresh cooked fresh peeled potatoes. Lovely staff, very polite and attentive. Best I've had in years. Thoroughly recommend this place.n there's so much choice in this area and many sell frozen chips in poor oil. Refreshing change to find a proper good old fashioned chippy. We stopped at several along the front and Google / Trip Advisor researched them and looked at what was coming out of these places then moved along. So glad we found this place. Beautiful piece of Cod. Perfectly cooked. Thick fillet and must have been a foot long (300mm for young un's😂) Lovely batter. Loads of chips. Perfect end to our weekend away.

Very good customer service, kind helpful staff, honest & polite owners, very nice portions of meals, reasonable prices. Ethical business, that aims to maintain customers. That's the place to be!

I have used this fish and chip restaurant about 5 times this summer and love it. The owner and his family are lovely people, very friendly. The food is always freshly cooked and tastes really good and the portions are very generous. I normally visit Hastings on my motorbike and always receive a warm welcome from the owner. The restaurant is very biker friendly which is really good as some restaurants and cafes aren’t. It has now become my go to fish & chip shop when I visit Hastings. Next time your in Hastings try it out you won’t be disappointed.

We opted for the lunch special of cod and chips and at £10.90 it did not disappoint! the food was cooked from fresh and to perfection - the batter crisp and dry and the chips fab ! the waiting staff was very polite and efficient and the cashier very friendly and we even had a chat in Italian as he had spent some years working there. would definitely go back there when i next come to Hastings Filomena

Lovely fish and chips . Very tender . The price is brilliant . The sizes are big . The staff is very nice and friendly . It is clean . We came to Hastings a lot and it is one of the best ones we tried if not the best . Highly recommend it .

We were looking for a fish and chips restaurant as we were hungry. This restaurant immediately caught our eyes as it had good prices. We popped in and was greeted nicely by friendly staff. Between us we ordered cod and chips and plaice and chips with a bit of kid's menu. It was very good as it had no grease and was cooked perfectly and was fresh. Great value for the price.
