Can't believe I've not been here sooner... from the outside you may not be drawn in but the stories of its greatness are filtering across the city. £3 a pint for some good hand pull ales. A fine selection of hot dogs, beautifully prepared and brimming with taste and all for a super value price. Nice surroundings, great music, chatty bar staff, live bluegrass on Monday evenings. What's not to like...?! You must try this place, it deserves to be busier that's all that let's it down.

Havent been here for years & popped in for an anniversary drink. So glad we did as service really friendly & though the actual building hasnt changed it is so much cleaner & welcoming. Outside seating improved & will def return to try food. Best place to drink in marina.

Had some issues with my order being forgotten; but the staff were brilliant in sorting it and got me a complimentary drink whilst I was waiting. Very tasty pizza and it was huge!

Hemos visitado muchas veces a lo largo de los años - siempre un poco de golpe y falla. Hoy fue un éxito. Personal amable y eficiente. Buena sopa (sabía a casero). Espero que sea igual de bueno la próxima vez que visitemos!

My daughter & I visited for a drink and food after a day exploring Brighton. The bar staff greeted us when we arrived they were friendly & happy to talk to us. The bar was quiet when we arrived (around 4pm) and the atmosphere was relaxed, even when the bar got busy, it didn't feel too crowded or noisy. The toilets were absolutely spotless, which makes such a refreshing change, as many in Brighton are not! I had the steak & ale pie with charred cabbage and merlot gravy, it was absolutely delicious. My daughter had the Great British Cheese toastie with bechamel sauce on sourdough bread, which she said was the best toastie she'd ever had. This is our second visit to The Druids Head, and this visit was just as good as the first. A beautiful old building with lots of history in a superb location. We look forward to our next visit when we are next in Brighton.

we had booked for 20 people and I had submitted our menu choices a week early. However on arriving we were told that there was not any fish pies or steak, so menus had to be re decided. this was not a good start to the meal as there kitchen would of had a week to have ordered in the menu choices? When food did arrive - which was very very slow, the chicken was very tough. one person ordered the waffle for desert and the waffle was so hard it could not even be cut! One of the burgers was raw inside so most of it had to be left. service was very slow which was not really the waitress fault as it appeared there were only two people running the bar and food at a busy lunch time I have been to Hangleton manner many times and always enjoyed good food so maybe today was an exception but it does make you have to consider whether to return in the future
