What a lovely tea room. Great atmosphere, charming staff and delicious cakes! The ice cream shakes are to die for. Will return and definitely recommend.

Great food, great selection. We dined here twice during our stay at arundel. The food and service was faultless, we had sea bream and hanger steak one night and warm goats cheese salad and pie one night. Nothing is too much bother for them (we wanted a slight amendment to the sea bream). The star of the show was the amazing pie 🥧. 5 star at reasonable prices

It was a ' no brainer ' for the 3 of us to decide to spend our NYE at 🤩Butlers.. Everything from the communications form Sasha re pre ordering to the welcome at 8 pm on NYE, followed by consistently warm & attentive service throughout & not forgetting the yummaliscious 😋😋 food from the kitchen team, made NYE 2024/25 one to remember 👍👍.. Thanks to all of you..🏆..

This was by far the standout restaurant visited during our trip to Sussex. We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival. There were excellent menu and drinks choices and the food was beautifully prepared and delicious. We felt the price was reasonable taking account of the quality of our experience. We would definitely recommend and we will be returning.

We stayed and ate in the evening with them. Our room was beautiful, lovely linen, and towels a really calm space! Yes it is in the centre of Arundel but we were surprised by how little we could hear traffic. We had a cheeseboard and beautiful salami’s beautifully served, we were told where everything was from, lovely wines to choose from, they certainly exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back, run by a really lovely couple. Breakfast was continental but again locally sourced and first class

Really lovely spot with super friendly staff. Great coffee. Perfect accompaniment to a chilled round of golf on the superbly maintained putting green. Highly recommended!

Second meal here in as many weeks - both have been exceptional. Not only is the food outstanding but the service has been perfect. How lovely it is to go somewhere where the staff are knowledgeable, efficient and acceptably seem to enjoy what they’re doing!! Can’t wait to come back and thank you to all the team for 2 great evenings so far.

What a lovely quaint venue, nestling in the market town of Arundel. The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, catering for our particular needs and allergies. Food was excellent. Warm place to visit on a cold January afternoon.

The Moathouse Cafe is situated at the bottom end of Arundel, by the river Arun. Helpful and efficient staff work here and make you feel welcome. A very large selection of food is available. It is well cooked and presented. Eat in or take away is available, but it does get busy so seating can be a problem. Toilets are available upstairs.

Stopped off with my wife for coffees, the service, coffees and feel of the place were all excellent. Nice paintings on the walls for sale. We will call again.

This is a central meeting point for our group of friends and we love everything about the place. Food is very competitively priced, good quality and often from local producers. The staff team is very welcoming, particularly to dogs. We have visited on a number of occasions and no doubt will continue to do so.

Food was good We sat it the side that turned out to be a bar area. It would have been good if the staff had told us. It starting filling with workmen and women who were all drinking and became very loud. We would have sat elsewhere if we had known this. It wasn't a good place to have a quiet meal for two. The service was great as was the food.
