Great place to pick up a good deal

We ordered a pizza meal deal to be delivered to campsite. It was delivered within the time it said. The food was piping hot and we thought reasonably priced. There was plenty for the two of us.

Fantastic bar maid. Super friendly and helpful. Great food and prices. Really enjoyed the lunch and atmosphere. 5 stars

Awful roast dinner , carrots were raw and I mean raw, potatoes were frozen ones meat awful, can’t call it cauliflower cheese it was glue , just awful , finished with the microwave cottage

It was a good venue to catch up with family as we had a big table for all of us. The service from Evie was excellent and she waited patiently for our orders while we were catching up with everyone after a 5 year gap! We all had different foods from the menu with mixed reviews but my scampi was good although I would have liked a larger portion of mushy peas. The Beyond meat burger was tasteless apparently although we have them at home and they're really tasty. All in all a welcoming venue and good service.

My family recently visited your restaurant and unfortunately their experience was marred by the behaviour of the waitress, she was extremely rude and very unprofessional. It's disappointing because the restaurant itself has a nice ambiance, and the food is always lovely. However, the poor service we received overshadowed everything. I hope the management addresses this issue.

One of the best pubs in Southwick. What people call a 'proper old fashioned pub'. Small and cosy with an olde world nautical theme. No gaming machines but beautiful coal fires, friendly customers and superb real ales, beers etc at extremely low prices, served by excellent bar staff and Landlord and Lady! 10 out of 10 all round. See you there, perhaps - guaranteed a warm welcome by us olde locals. 🍻😁🍻😁

Great place and great value for lunch I can highly recommend the macaroni cheese or lasagne it’s so good Laura, Zoe & Anna are exceptional their customer service skills are of high standard which really stands out above the others and there always happy to help with a smiling face every time! We had lovely vegetarian full breakfasts with hot drinks which was absolutely lovely. The vegetarian sausages are superb (I wish you could buy them) and everything was cooked to perfection. I really love the decor in here - it has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were so friendly and lovely.

We have visited twice. The first time we had tapas and the second time we had the Sunday roast. Both times we went the food was delicious and plentiful. Good service, we were made to feel very welcome. We would highly recommend.

We have come here quite a few times in recent months and often bring family who are visiting. We are never disappointed, the service is friendly and attentive, they are always happy to answer questions we have about the menu. The pub has a cozy, friendly vibe and even our dog loves it there! The food has been excellent each time we have been, on our most recent visit we had the mussels, which were lovely and just right amount, the Smoked Haddock was beautifully cooked and hit the spot perfectly for our Australian guest who was craving smoked fish as you can't get it in Australia! I had the Ham, egg and marmite chips and it was amazing, the ham was a very decent portion and was cooked perfectly, the poached egg paired beautifully with the hollandaise sauce and I couldn't get enough of the marmite chips😀Would highly recommend this pub🥰

Website says Shoreham store less busy than usual but service in the cafe was awful! Over half an hour in a queue to order food and drink. Not a single member of staff appearing rushed or hurrying! No apology for people having to wait! On the plus side - easy to find a table as everyone had left by the time we got to the front of the queue!

Would just like to thank all of the staff at the Royal George especially Debbie are waitress for the fantastic service that we had this evening for my daughters 13th birthday dinner. The staff made such a special effort and even made my daughter a heart-shaped pizza, Which made my little girls day!! I would highly recommend anybody going here to eat the food was all lovely and cooked very well. The staff all saying happy birthday to my daughter, which was a really nice touch Once again, thank you to you all we will be visiting again.

On a wet and windy Sunday afternoon, decided to visit for a roast that frankly, I was damned if I was going to put together myself. What a wonderful, place. Food was exceptional, and lots of it!! Perfectly cooked potatoes, meat and great home made yorkies. The cauliflower cheese genuinely stole the show for us! Staff were very friendly, very helpful and accommodating. Nice glass of red, plenty of soft drinks available. Child and dog friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Hygiene is on point, toilets are clean and well kept. Absolute 10/10 for me. Worth the train ride from Portsmouth!
