We only wanted a drink and snack and enjoyed a warm sausage roll and Korean bbq chicken wings plus some thick cut chips. Food was good, service was very good and friendly. With G&T and two pints £36.

I have visited this cafe twice now with my father in law who is in a wheelchair and frail. Both times the staff have been so welcoming, not minding me doing furniture moving to get dad into a spot where he will be happy. They have also been very understanding about my requests for the way dads drinks are made. We haven't eaten there yet, but the food looks lovely and everyone I have seen has cleared their plates. They also have a children's play area for younger children. I would recommend this cafe to everyone.

I went there for breakfast Saturday, Sunday and today. I loved having breakfast there. I opted for the senior breakfast. The first time I had a meat option but yesterday and today the vegetarian breakfast which I loved. Definitely would come back again

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at The Poacher. Tasty and reasonably priced. Lovely environment and the experience was topped off by meeting the lovely Pierre - so friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for looking after us so well! Looking forward to returning when we are next in the area. Merci 😀

We’ve often visited The Drummond for an afternoon drink after a walk nearby, but this was our first evening dining experience. The weather was warm enough for us to dine outside, but the supplied blankets were a nice touch. The food was fine. Nothing fancy, nor anything to shout about, but not horrible either. Service was prompt and friendly, which is always a bonus! Definitely a place to return to on a summer evening, but not if you’ve got a massive appetite!

This venue is great if you want a drink but the food is terrible. £19 for a charcoal burger, complained and it went back to the kitchen. 10 mins later the same charcoal burger now cold appeared back on my table. Never again. Very disappointing

Had a great late afternoon meal and a couple of drinks with my wife and my dog ! We were all made very welcome ( including my dog ) . The I.P.A. was good ( never had it before) and the meal was excellent. Very good value for money . Very pleasantly surprised. Massive improvement from the last time I went to the Poacher years ago !

Motorbiked there with a mate. First time here and I loved everything about this place and highly recommend. Vibe and decor was just right, inspirational and very clean. Food hot and fresh, tasty and well presented. Service very nice and overall experience was awesome. Definitely returning. ps there is plenty of seating inside and outside - I wasn't sure from the pics.

Fabulous Sunday lunch for a family special ocasion. beautiful food, so well looked after by the manager Abdul who couldn't do enough for us even though they had a huge private event going on. Stunning views, incredible service from all waiting staff who looked after my 11 year old son and pampered him. Highly recommend.

We don't go so much since the restaurant offers on the app have changed. Now finding other places with better offers. The cake is definitely getting smaller. We think it's funny how they try to make the cake look bigger by putting it on smaller plates. The coffee could be better. The staff are lovely particularly in the restaurant. Toby and kiera are always happy to help. Plenty to see as this is one of the bigger garden centres. A good selection of products.

This pub proclaim on their very own website to be a ‘friendly local pub’, ‘families welcome’, ‘friendly publicans’, ‘where community comes together’, ‘you’ll feel part of the family’…which is quite frankly outrageous given our two experiences here. On the first occasion my little boy became upset in the pub (over something i cant remember- but hes 4, so standard 4yo behaviour which lasted only a minute or two). And when i came back in from the garden, I heard them laughing and one member of staff said ‘hes a brat, and his mother just cant control him which isnt my problem’. Then (heaven knows why we went back) - my friends little boy cut his cheek on the side of a bench in the beer garden - they refused to give us any first aid or call a taxi for A&E, let alone any empathy or basic duty of care. When my husband challenged the manager (Ade) and he said to us ‘if i had my way id make this an adults only pub so we dont have to deal with these nightmare kids’. I could not believe how cruel and uncaring the people working here could be. A little boy had hurt himself and they couldn’t have cared less- but more than that- they were hostile, unhelpful and offensive about the whole thing. Despite it being our local, we have not returned- and we will not be.

We picked our new puppy up in November and on Christmas Eve we took a drive to Littlehampton Beach knowing it is dog friendly. My only negative is signage to get to West Beach is extremely poor. After a great walk, we headed to West Beach Cafe to warm up and grab a bite to eat. We were greeted by the owner who was so upbeat, friendly and chatty. The food is cooked to order and delicious. Our doggy was made very welcome and given treats. We had such a great experience, we went back in January to celebrate our birthdays and once again finished our day off with a visit to the cafe. Another great visit....in the words of Arnie... we'll be back! ❤️

£26.50 for a day pass, although asked for £30 which includes donation. Our party was made up of 5 adults - we didn’t donate. To put into context, my husband and I have been members of Marwell in our days before our children. It holds a special place in our hearts. We moved away but always managed to make at least 2 visits a year as the children grew up & still do - the kids are now into their 20’s and often visit with us. Sadly the experience over the last 10 -15 years has progressively gotten worse. Every time we go we hope it will be better. Marwell was always at the forefront of conservation and education & had an extremely successful breeding program for the rhinos and giraffes. Much money has been spent on enclosures that didn’t work, the snow leopards, the cheeta, the walkway over the persian leopard, now cloud leopard, the new tropical house, the gibbon enclosure, kids play areas. Now it is a shell. Few animals, lots of paddocks full of weeds, & plastic bottles & little or no information. The annual membership is a steal but place feels more of a kiddies play area than a serious home for conservation and education. It’s expensive and disappointing. Bit on context - The Cotswold Wildlife Park is £19 for an adult. A much smaller facility but full of animals and information & staff happy to help and answer questions.
