Have lived within 7 miles of this establishment. Never knew it existed. My friends mentioned it after having a few drinks up the road, in another place. Feeling hungry now we stopped by. Glad we did. Pretty busy when we pulled up. However space in large rear carpark. Delightful beer garden split in two. Kids play area etc. Had no booking. Served almost immediately by switched on mainly younger team at bar. Was politely advised tables that were free. Set up a tab and said I’ll bring your drinks over to you. Lovely. A young cheerful friendly waitress came over and took our order. Fairly varied menu. Something for all. Food was hot and tasty. No complaints at all! Very quick and attentive service by all. A lovely surprise these days. Thank you. We WILL be back

A lovely space with a great outdoor area. We came as a group and were making our orders separately and it wasn’t a problem. Lovely service from the bar and waiting team. There was a short wait for food but we were told this when ordering. Food was presented well, was piping hot, plentiful and absolutely delicious.

Nice looking pub and quite quirky ! Good selection of beers and very friendly staff . Not a big menu and they had run out of few things . A little disappointed with the food and would probably use it for a meet/ beer/ sandwiches only

It was nice to revisit the Farmhouse pub and it's just as nice as we remembered. The table service was excellent as always but we were a little disappointed with the food. I had ordered a Farmhouse special burger, but alas I felt that the meat was a little overcooked it was quite crispy at the edges and dry. And when we went to pay the bill, I was asked quite bluntly if I wanted any change. Being a old aged pensioner I thought that was a bit cheeky as it wasn't a lot anyway. But it will not stop us going back again, but I certainly would have something different next time.

Reserved a table the night before our flight - what a find this pub is. Looks so pretty on arrival, lots of twinkly lights - outdoor seating with cushions & throws - inside so warm & welcoming - roaring log fire & really cosy. Seated & had a menu & drinks in minutes - served by a lovely young man - we had risotto, fahitas & a burger all beautifully cooked, high quality & generous portions - excellent value for money. Staff checked bag with us for more drinks & to check how our meals were Cannot recommend this bar / restaurant enough - give it a try you won’t regret it!

We booked at fairly short notice for 6 adults and a 2 year old on Sunday 26/11/23. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and at home. Although, due to being very popular, The Farmhouse was very busy the service (we were mostly looked after by Kelly) was excellent. We all chose various items from the menu for both starters and mains, with mains ranging from Shepherds Pie to Pork Belly, Roast Beef and Vegan Roast Vegetable Tart and Chicken Skewer. All the food was very good indeed and it was clear that the kitchen team take a lot of pride in what they produce. Overall, a great experience and good value for money. Thank you and we look forward to coming back.

We had our wedding at the Farmhouse pub, using the whole pub grounds at the end of July. Tracy the landlady went completely out of her way to make our wedding day special. We left all our decorations with her the day before, as we didn't have time to help decorate. (We also used Laura from Lollipop balloons to help with the balloon and streamer decorations) My Husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we drove in to see the place all done up amazingly on the wedding day! We had booked in a marquee which had all the tables complete and ready for the wedding breakfast for the guests thanks to the brilliant staff. For the wedding breakfast Tracy let us pick what we would like and we had posh fish and chips/chicken skewers etc, and it all tasted incredible! Mike (Tracy's husband) Dj'd for us too, which was such a help in terms our budget, and he was fantastic! In the evening we had a fantastic buffet, with guests telling us it was some of the best wedding buffet they ever had! The day went without a hitch and surpassed our expectations! We would like to thank the whole team from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day perfect!

We live close to the Farmhouse and visit often for a drink, but this was the first time I have had an evening meal in here. I have to say the food was amazing and so was the service, the pub was busy and we were warned there could be a wait for food and that is always a nice thing, to get a heads up. But the wait wasn't long and it was worth the wait regardless.

Underwhelming menu choice. Husband and dad had burgers and both were quite disappointed by them. I had the plant-based burger and it was delicious. Puddings weren’t great. Crumble had way too much cinnamon and custard serving was very small. Husband’s initial choice had to go back (brownie) but his second choice was nice. I’d gone here on recommendation but didn’t think it was great. On a plus side, Harvey’s was a nice surprise and the Shiraz was delicious.

We visited for Sunday Roasts although my wife is vegetarian so the Chef very thoughtfully provided a lovely fulsome roast vegetable plate. The service was exemplary with Denise. We explained that I was a blue light card holder and we were given a discount of 25% off our food making it tremendous value. Breaded chilli mushrooms and hallomi bites with a tangytastic chipotle sauce. My roast beef was well cooked and vegetables plentiful topped by a huge Yorkshire pudding. We couldn't fit in a dessert but the sticky toffee pudding on another table took my eye. It's a great value meal at any time but blue light card holders should turn on the blue light and get down to the Farmhouse!

Having experienced a truly wonderful afternoon tea earlier in the year and anxious to return, I jumped at the chance to suggest this venue at the first opportunity. We are a large group of friends, travelling a considerable distance and organising a venue and time when all are available is quite a mission. However, a time and day was eventually decided and as it was a Sunday, afternoon tea was suggested. I had no hesitation in recommending the superb Farmhouse tea, checked the website to make sure all was still well, messaged around the friends with the details and picked up the phone.... to be told that, despite the website stating otherwise, afternoon tea is not served on a Sunday afternoon!! Dumbfounded, dismayed and disappointed, it created a lot of inconvenience and a shed load of messages etc., very irritating indeed that this eatablishment has not taken the time to update their website (I was told they haven't served tea on Sundays for 'ages'!)it now makes me feel I cannot rely on it when making any arrangements without having to phone and check first what the score is. Hmm can I be bothered? When I can book online on reliable websites? Probably not. Shame.

Specifically chose the Farmhouse for Sunday family roast dinner for five. Table booked for 18:30. Shown to table, drinks ordered, handed Sunday menu with the comment "Sorry but have run out of roasts". We were therefore left with a rather paltry and sad looking remnants of a Sunday menu. Enquired if there was another menu as the Sunday menu had lost its key items. "Sorry no we only have the Sunday menu today". So 2 x Fish and chips twice, 2 x burger twice and a rack of pork later (which would have been acceptable when not specifically going for a roast) and a bill of nearly £100 we left rather disgruntled by the whole experience.

The local social dog walking group LangshottAcresPuppiesDoggies (LAPD) held a fun dog show on Sunday 28th July. The Farmhouse were great hosts providing a free welcome drink for adults and copious water bowls for the dogs! The Farmhouse team ran a not for profit bbq during the event enabling extra pennies to be spent on the charity tombola and pop up. The event attracted over 100 entries in 10 categories with Maggie, a rescue spaniel winning best in show which was very appropriate as the day raised close to £500 for JustSpringers rescue. Batman and Robin won the fancy dress! Tracy & Mike the landlady and husband could not have been more welcoming and the bar staff kept smiling despite a very busy bar and a garden full of dogs. This is a pub serving the very heart of the local community. Good beer, good food, good vibes.

Family of 6 walked out. What a horrible miserable woman. You will lose all your custom if she continues to work behind the bar! Bar staff are meant to smile.

My wife and I had a very good evening meal here. It wasn’t too crowded, especially for a Friday evening, the staff were very welcoming and the service was very efficient.

This is a brilliant old (400 years old) country pub just yards from the main A23 near Horley. Met an old friend for a meal on Friday night and couldn’t have been better looked after. Decent, real pub atmosphere with ample bar and good beers on pumps. Food was great and staff in good humour with plenty of time for us. Quite a wonderful find in a world full of plastic pubs or chain eateries. Ample parking and garden but got distracted by what was on offer

I went in recently with my wife with the intention of having something to eat, after standing at the bar for nearly ten minutes before I got served while several of the staff including the landlady chatted at the bottom of the bar, finally I got serverd a coke and a pint of lager, the coke from the first machine was virtually clear like water, but instead of emptying it out the barmaid topped it up from the other machine, I tasted it and it was flat, I asked for a bottle instead but the barmaid took it to the landlady first to have it checked before she changed it for me. My pint came which did look ok. Totally rip off price though, dearer than in the centre of London, £8.05 for a pint ,a coke and a pack of pork scratchings. More than double the price of the pubs in the centre of Horley. We went outside to have our drinks, unfortunately the pint was also completely flat and tasteless, it wasn’t worth the hassle in going back in ,waiting and then arguing my point. I left about half off it on the table. Needless to say I didn’t bother ordering food as I didn’t want to wait for ages and to take the risk of it being as bad as their drinks. If I could give a lesser star rating I would.

Booked a table for four on Sunday 24th March 19 at 7pm. Only two other people in the restaurant. After being seated was given a long, long list of dishes on the menu that were unavailable on all courses from starters to desserts. We were informed by the waitress that they had been busy and had even managed to run out of chips. As there is a giant supermarket about a mile away would you not have thought that someone could have gone & purchased some bags of potatoes or would it have been a problem of having to peel the potatoes & cut into chips as presumably they normally come already prepared. We had taken two friends there who had just landed from Goa expecting to give them a lovely meal after a long flight but it was not to be. We feel that as the menu was so decimated that the licence holders/managers should have contacted us in advance to give us the option of going elsewhere. It was a total waste of money. We emailed the establishment on Monday 25th March but to date have not received a reply.

Nice pub, but I felt when we arrived that the staff were not particularly friendly. As a customer who has never been to this business before, I feel that they should of made us feel a bit more welcome.( ie ) hi how are you ? What would you like to drink? ) are you eating today ? Here’s a menu

Chose the Farmhouse due to its proximity to the Holiday Inn. Food and welcome were ‘hearty’. Only managed an appetiser and the Goulash; the cheeseboard will ha e to wait until another visit...

Staying at the nearby Gatwick Skylane hotel where the menu was absolutely dire we decided to wander to see where else we might eat. Came across this pub. A lovely friendly team of bar staff who talked us through the menu and advised on how it might be adapted for specific dietry needs/choices. In comparison to our hotel this was food heaven. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals which were hot, fresh, plentiful and tasty

We took 7 elderly/ adults with aquired brain injury for afternoon tea last week. I book for a table of 10 as we had around 6 residents who wanted to attend x2 being wheelchair users and unable to transfer into a seat with specialised wheelchairs which take up a lot more room...Needless to say we were MADE to pay for 10 full afternoon teas as the table was booked for 10. Really appalled to be fair the women working on the day was most unhelpful, unfriendly and very rude. Not a very warm welcome!

Had not booked this pub or Saturday lunch. Extremely busy but they advised that We could wait. We were sat at a table and ordered drinks. Finally someone arrived to take our order but there was a list of main courses that were sold out. A bit annoying as one of the party went through the list and then had to go for something that hadn't been first or second choice! This said the food was good. Well cooked and hot.

My mum and I fancied a light lunch out of the house and had booked the Afternoon Tea at the Farmhouse. Well, you get bundles worth for your money - it's fantastic!! Two very large scones each, freshly baked by the feel of them too! Numerous mini cakes. And full sized sandwiches cut in to triangles - we ended up taking some home, it was brilliant!!

We had a fantastic meal for 20 family members over 4 generations present. Liaise with Tracy beforehand to agree menu and had excellent Roast Chicken with all the trimmings plus a lovely veggie kebab. Brilliant service by Nadine, Denise and the crew. If you hosting a large family event I heartily recommend the Farmhouse. Five stars well deserved! Have a great 2019. The Paton Family.

Our most grateful thanks to Tracy & every member of staff for all the meals that we so enjoyed during 2017, as well as the one on 20th December which was to celebrate a very significant birthday. Our joint New Year resolution is to make the Farmhouse the one & only place in the locality for an evening meal because having tried some of the rest, in our opinion the Farmhouse is the best.

Really nice service for a late lunch today (approx 3.30pm) for 3 people. Allergies were very well handled - my son has severe ones, the waiter listened carefully to his allergies and what we would possibly like to order and checked with the chef (sadly not all restaurants are on the ball). Meals arrived hot and everyone enjoyed their choice. Ingredients were fresh and meals well presented. Thank you to gentleman and lady serving us today, they are a credit to your business! On a side note - toilets were clean and so was the restaurant area.

Planning permission was eventually received for conversion of the pub into residential units - and work has now commenced on the car park. A great pity - as this pub has played a large part in the lives of the local Reigate Hill community for many decades, and now has gone forever.

Very disappointed. We were a little late because the road was closed and we had to go a long way to get there, the lady behind the bar was not happy with us even after we apologised. The price of each of our meals was £18 so you expect a good standard. The fish in the fish and chips was very small and overcooked and the peas were barely warm. The fish pie had one king prawn in it and was served with 8 green beans and 2 halves of carrot. The aubergine gratin was burnt and when I asked for another one the waitress said it was supposed to look like that, but when I pointed out that its possible to cook it without burning it she took it away. All in all, it wasn't a nice experience and we certainly won't be going back.
