We had the wake for my son’s funeral at the Weston Manor Hotel, a very sad occasion but the hotel was a lovely venue, very attentive staff and the food was delicious. We opted for a hot buffet, lasagna and other dishes plus deserts, and the price was reasonable, I cannot fault the hotel.

This was an important occasion for us and all the staff at the Wheatsheaf were fantastic. A great deal of attention and care was provided by the excellent and professional team and nothing was too much trouble for them. All of our guests commented how good the Gold buffet was and great value for money. Many thanks to Becky and the team for making the memorial to our close friend a very special occasion.

Based on reviews from 2020 and 2022 we thought we would give this cafe a try for lunch. So glad we did! Staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe was clean and tidy with an extensive menu to choose from. For me, the tuna melt toasty was to die for!!!

Visited here for a quick drink, barman was uninterested and extremely unfriendly, lots of loud locals that made fun of customers behind their back which were heard. Felt so uncomfortable here and couldn't wait to leave which has never happened to us in many years. Thank god we didn't stay for a meal. Suggest you avoid at all costs.

This was by far the best Christmas meal, I have ever had. The food was piping hot and the staff were so friendly. My husband and I will definitely be going back again next year. This pub used to be one of my regulars over 30 years ago until I stopped travelling to Dorking. It has certainly kept its charm and wonderful food. Val

The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating - really felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and I can definitely recommend the steak and ale pie! The campsite was well equipped and the shower/toilet block maybe old but it was immaculate! I would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be back!

Have always enjoyed eating at the Barley Mow and did enjoy my salad this evening, but was a little surprised with the cost. £14 for the basic super food salad and I paid £5 on top for prawns, of which there were only about 6. I also went on to have a yummy pudding, but to the cost of £8.50. I know with the cost of living everything has increased but come on Barley Mow £22 for a prawn salad ?
