The Betsey Wynne in Aylesbury Vale

We visited Betsey Wynne twice on our trip. The team were all very welcoming and we couldn't fault their service. The food was also lovely. Good portions sizes and very tasty.

Great catch up with friends. Service pleasant. Bottomless brunch food pretty terrible and service charge added to already expensive package

Food was average. Mains was lovely. The special dessert was not worth the £10 charged. Either better food for the price or it needs to be cheaper for what was plated. Service was hit and miss. 1 server really helpful and chatty the other not at all. Like she didn’t want to be there. Took ages to get the bill even after asking and not busy in there either.

Beautiful setup, warm and welcoming - didn't realise it was so big inside and probably great in summer with an outside seating option. Food was lovely, perfect portions with many gluten free and vegetarian options too. Didn't feel rushed and lovely staff. The toilets need some work though!

We celebrated our Auntie's 60th birthday here and it was great. Leading up to the day, the staff were very friendly and accommodating on the phone and pre ordering online very easy. On the day, great atmosphere and amazing service from Lewis and Andrea. Super easy and very warm! Will be going again soon. Tasty food too!

Visited many times, it is a lovely restaurant. The food was OK but seems to have lost its edge, we had pizza, pasta, fish. The staff did not seem to have totally grasped customer service, quite abrupt in some cases. Overall though I would return.

After recommending to my friend what a great breakfast/brunch The Betsy Wynne do, had a terrible experience today. First attempt with our orders, were cold. Poached eggs overdone, everything else stone cold. Sent back. Second attempt, still didn't look good but was a bit warmer, so tried it. Stopped quarter of the way through as tasted very bad and left a bad taste. Apparently new chef in training. At least we were not charged and only had to pay for our coffee, so appreciate that gesture. However, unlikely to return for breakfast. Such a shame, as a nice venue

We ate here with a couple of friends for dinner on Sunday evening. We enjoyed our meals and had an excellent Argentinian Malbec wine. The menu is not extensive but there is something for everyone, be they vegetarians or carnivores! The portions are generous and the waiting staff are friendly. I can recommend eating here.

In an almost empty restaurant area we were seated right next to the servers counter/till which meant that every 5 minutes one of them came over and loudly 'hammered' the till screen with her nails to enter an order or clattered cutlery in the drawers to reset a table. It became almost comical while I tried to maintain a conversation with my partner. Portions are small. We left still hungry after having a main and a dessert. £22.50 for a piece of cod (granted it was a good size but I did find a bone), 4 new potatoes sliced in half, about 10 small pieces of chorizo and halved tomatoes and probably 5 spinach leaves. Garlic flatbread was just about cooked and lacked any flavour - not worth £8 of anyone's money. Dessert tasted nice but for £8.50 I would've liked more than one scoop of sorbet and half a mango chopped up. I did however get a free hair which I discovered at the bottom. Completely ruined the experience and made me feel nauseous. It's a lovely building, but the windows were absolutely filthy with hand-prints and dirty cloth smears where they'd been 'cleaned'. 10% Service charge is automatically added to the bill. For introverted customers who find it challenging to complain or ask for charges to be removed it's really not the place to go. First and last visit from us.

Awful service!! Lovely pub to look at & maybe just for drinks! We went as a couple for dinner midweek on a Wednesday, reservation was for 7pm! Greeted and taken to our seat took 20 mins for someone to come along to ask for drinks and by that time we was ready to order food to then be told most of the menu wasn’t available! Should have been stated when seated! So we ordered drinks a wine & a pint! 10 mins later looking at the menu to see what we could actually have was only pizza and basics! Our drinks still hadn’t arrived so we left 35 mins being in there! Glad we left had a better meal and better service elsewhere! Service was absolutely AWFUL

We came here for a Sunday roast. The decor and general vibe was very in keeping with the 'chain' and is a sympathetic fusion of old and new - it's a lovely venue. We had the Sunday roast and thought it was pretty tasty, the gravy was flavoursome, you get a good portion of meat and every element was pretty good quality. It's a little expensive but not beyond what many places are now charging. We would visit again.
