This be the most awful Rock Salmon I have ever had, two thin slices stuck together, over cooked and hard. Chips were nice.

Went in with my 2 year old nephew and we ordered a kids meal with a regular chips, then my card declined and the woman serving me shouted it out loud, after then I asked to pay cash and card and the woman shook her head in disbelief and had to ask the man to help me. I personally work at a fish and chip shop and would never even think to speak to a customer like that! First and last time I will be coming back. The man was lovely

I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you are friends with the employees/know someone in there, I’ve been in multiple times and the food service is on and off sometimes your food will come out quick but sometimes you could be waiting for a long time, 9/10 times the chips are cold aren’t nice or fresh or cooked properly, also the staff services are absolutely appalling there’s one older lady who just clearly doesn’t want to be there doesn’t ever have a smile on her face there was another lady who i think doesn’t work there anymore who gave me a weird look just because I didn’t want salad in my burger to make matters worse there’s a young lady who works there that I tried to order food from the other day I waited up at the counter for a few minutes and I was blatantly being ignored because when she saw someone she knew she instantly took his order so I decided I would take my money else where as the majority of the staff there are just ignorant, it’s embarrassing to there company and embarrassing for the people they treat this way.

Placed order over the phone collected had a little wait got home my gluten free fish was very poor I could not eat it it was dry and very hard very disappointed my wife's fish was fine why so very different

Not as good as before, food was oily and did not taste good. Service was ok, previous owners were better.

Spent over £30 getting food delivered for us and the kids and it wasn’t hot. Wasn’t even warm. Binned it and ended up cooking anyway. Don’t bother.

This place is so hit and miss. One day the chips are great and the next time truly awful. They were so bad the other day i had to throw them away. I will not risk going in there any more as you don't know what you are going to get

Very friendly service the batter used is not to my liking.so was just ok.

Well the food was edible, but not brilliant. The chips were quite pale, soft and sticking together. They could have done with longer in the fryer. The chicken nuggets and fish were fine but nothing special, and they didn't seem to have put the vinegar on despite us saying yes when they offered it.

The food is alright, although you can get bigger portions from other chippys in aylesbury. However the service is very slow, I only ordered a sausage and chips and I was waiting at least 20minutes.

Average. + Curry sauce was very nice. + Sausages were good. - Chips a bit anaemic. - No-one smiles. Not one person.

3 cod 1 battered sausage and 3 portions of chips £27... ! Battered sausage greasy.. 3 cod well only ok(ish) Chips well possibly the worst chips we have ever had from a fish and chip shop...cold hard and stuck together ..... Not one of my family enjoyed it even the dog wouldn't eat the chips.. last visit to TCI Fridays..

My first TCI Frydays take away experience. Being gluten free it’s not always easy to find somewhere that does good old fashioned fish and chips I can eat. My order (order ahead for gf) was ready when I arrived, staff friendly, good sized portion, well wrapped and still hot when I got home. I will definitely be back!

Freshly cooked, great service, great food.

Wasn’t impressed last night, my order was wrong and the fish very disappointing, won’t be going back there.

Very good chippy. I paid £17.00 for 2 X large cod and regular chips and the fish was cooked while I waited. I will no doubt return again and again.

I have visited this chippy for 7 years now. The fish is freshly cooked to order when you arrive. They do nuts and bolts fish and chips brilliantly. I was surprised their rating was so low. I would recommend them to anyone.

I experienced racism from the owner of this shop. I myself am asian, and the owner was stolen by a Sikh man. The owner decided to ask me if it was my ‘friends’ who stole the vehicle, and then went into a rant about how asians can’t run chip shops. Totally random, out of order and racist! Avoid at all costs!

The best food in town. Chicken burger was tasty and moist with lots of salad and great chips. Staff very friendly and nice and speedy. Great takeaway, highly recommended

If you want to age10 years waiting outside for your order then this place is perfect! We waited 45 minutes for our order and other people got their orders before us. When we asked why people who had ordered after us got theirs before us we were told they had run out of chips!! A fish and chip shop running out of chips!! Not only that, the other customers had also ordered chips. The staff were rude to the line of customers waiting outside and asked why we were all staring at them. Perhaps because we were all in denial about how atrocious the service was maybe! Avoid this place at all costs. Note to owner learn how to manage your shop.

We used to like it here but standards have slipped. They always get our order wrong and we have to go back to get missing bits of we can be bothered. Chips are soggy and the sausages taste nasty.

We Went there for a change tonight and have to say I am more than disappointed. Waited out side for 20 minutes and other people that ordered after us got there food first when I asked why the girl was very rude and acted like we where lucky to have her take our order. When we did get our food we got home to what I can only say was a appalling meal the chips looked and taste like they had been recooked the kids sausages looked like saw dust and I would not even feed them to a dog . We will definitely not be going back and I would recommend everyone to avoid this place

Absolutely shocking service. What sort of fish and chip shop leaves you waiting outside for 45 minutes for fish and chips. Avoid this place like the plague. You actually watch from outside how slowly they go. Never again!!!!

This fish and chip shop is the best in the area by far. The staff are polite and friendly even though they are always busy. Sometimes you have to wait but it’s only due to cooking things properly. This is not a fast burger outlet so think on before you order or ask for a time beforehand. Back to the food it’s always hot cooked well and what you would expect in presentation from a traditional chippy. Appreciate some report poor experiences but it’s certainly not been the case on our previous once a month visits. During Covid-19 we have used the just eat delivery service which has been very good.

Would love to give this place zero stars. Had to leave a review... everytime I walk in here for a takeaway I'm met with the most confused look. I can only presume it is to do with the colour of my skin. Weird place, weird environment. Never going back!

Had fish and chips for a Saturday evening did my order over the phone went to pick it up no issues food was very hot and warm only problem looked like the chips had been warm up from lunch time and not cooked propley too

Had to find a new local as really hated the atmosphere at McCoys in Bedgrove. Really pleased with this place; staff are friendly even when it's busy, and the food is great! And they take payment by card, hooray.

He has resorted to labelling them as thieves and incompetent. When challenged, no apology was offered. Totally shocking. It’s sad the attitude has rubbed off on the staff, particularly the young lady with glasses (Lauren) who accused a young asian man of being a drug dealer. AVOID!

A great place for a drink, lunch or dinner. Great service and location. Very handy if going to cinema which is pretty much next door.

Made to wait for 15 minutes for one bag of chips! On complaining about this, no apology at all, instead the woman with the glasses shouted at me and the girl lied about how long I had been kept waiting. Oh and the chips weren’t even cooked properly. First visit tonight. Very impressive, wish I’d found you sooner! We visited because we’d had a bad experience at another competitor. We will forget those others forever now because you guys were excellent! Food was great, but most impressive was Good old fashioned principles of good customer service:- 1. Take order immediately. Check 2. Explain how long the order will take to prepare. Check 3. Deliver on that timing. Check Thank you. You now have me and my wife and 6 kids as customers for life. Well done 😊

Only eat fish and chips 3 or 4 times a year and this reminds me why ! Takeaway for four, pies ok but they are bought in, unwrapped the chips to find all stuck together in one lump not the end of the world, the fish was disgraceful, old stale fish ridiculously overcooked it was dark brown ,virtually inedible ! Not retuning

Shop empty, still waited over 20 minutes for F&C, but kept taking customers money, but very little cooking going on.

Just visited this chip shop as my normal chip shop was closed, the large portion of chips looked and tasted a week old, the pie and quarter chicken was dry and tasteless. I will not be returning any time soon.

Ordered sausage and chips and paid. Waited and waited and waited. Customers coming in after me and leaving before me. 20 minutes later !! I was asked if they can help me??? Ive ordered and paid but they forgot about me. No apology and just gave me warm tastless chips and a battered sausage. Now come on... there are many chippies locally so competition is fierce. And i get this poor service and poor quality food. They rather chat and serve their regulars. Not a good 1st impression from a local for over 25 years.

Use to do a really gr8 fish & chips but nothing anymore outstanding than others these days..

Haven't used for a while but rubbish is all I can say, I asked for fish to be very lightly battered - well that wasn't done and the piece of rock fish I ordered was nothing like rock ! No taste at all and the thinnest piece of fish that definitely wasn't Rock. Quite expensive for the poor quality of food. Sorry won't be using again 🙁

for a large chips £2.70 and a large battered sausage £1.55 it's not the best value ( small chips is quite small ) you always have to queue and I'm afraid the sausages are very greasy, chips always feel a little underdone, it could be so much better disappointing , does anyone know if a great fish and chip shop in aylesbury??

Soggy rock cooked from frozen. Usually great haddock but not consistantly good, sometimes a bit greasy and soggy. Chips always perfect. Friendly staff.

Its Ok but slow service and reasonably expensive prices, the Chinese over the road is much better value in my opinion. the staff also look unhappy here and you don't really receive a warm welcome.

La pasta en la salchicha es más pastoso de crujiente y el tamaño de la porción de chip es pequeño. si el pescado fresco es sin embargo agradable

Sin duda la mejor "fish and chips" en Aylesbury. La calidad es genial, de ahí las largas colas. El personal es siempre amable y eficiente. La comida es generalmente recién cocinados así que vale la pena la espera.

I live nearby, and the food is the best fish and chips I have ever had.. For sure.When it's busy (they regularly queue out of door) instead of shouting down the queue and asking how many people want fish they wait until you get to the counter to cook as every time it's cooked to order.I went a quiet lunchtime just one person on front of me and it took 25 minutes start to finish, and nighttime I have waited 45 minutes because of the queue not really acceptable.That aside the quality of the food is outstanding and some might say its worth waiting for but with a little better led management it would work so much quicker with no sacrifice of quality. Also watch they have a habit of missing on giving you the mushy peas (happened twice to me)Staff are pretty miserable but all will be forgiven when you taste it!

There always seems to be a queue for this place. The service is quick and friendly and the fish is tasty. I think they are let down slightly by their chips.
